Toadie opens the door and kisses Sindi who is standing outside.
Lou asks Max if he wants to see him go under and loose his share of the pub, Max tells him he doesn't but scamming customers to try and get more money, is not the way to solve it.
Toadie tells Sindi he doesn't want to take the next step because of Dee. He also reminds her that she is already in a relationship and she looks hurt so gets up and leaves. Scott comes in and tries to find out what happened, telling Toadie that he should've followed her because that's what girls like. Toadie tells him to stay out of it and get ready for his appointment with Karl.
Max wakes Lou from a daydream, and tells him to lend a hand at the bar where they are short staffed. Max returns to the office and asks what's up with him, but Lou tells him it's none of his business. Max informs him that it is his business if it is stopping him from helping to run the pub.
Karl tells Toadie that Scott shows many of the signs of ADHD, and that there are a number of options they can try including diet control or drugs. Scott says he doesn't want the drugs again as they make him 'foccatied', and he'll just throw them away. Toadie tells him to concentrate. Karl says they could try a controlled diet but he would need to see a paediatrician first.
Car Park Somewhere
Rocco is sitting in his car, and Sindi comes to join him. She tells him that she cannot continue the relationship the way it is going and wants to end it. He asks who the other man is but she says there is no 'other man' and reminds him that it is him who is married. He tells her that she is the only one for him, but she tells him that she doesn't want to be the 'other woman'. She starts to get out the car but he stops her, she tells him to leave her and she walks off.
Max gets a call from his accountant who confirms that he has full ownership of the house in Ramsay Street. Karl arrives and congratulates him. Max jokes that he never imagined himself to settle down in a place like Erinsborough, and Karl welcomes him to 'suburbia'. Max feels proud that he is able to support his family now fully, including Izzy and Gus, but apologises to Karl when he realises he's put his foot in it. Karl tells him not to worry as he and Izzy are just friends, and tells him to pass the good news onto Steph. Max jokes that he and Steph now have new jobs - working for the bank!
Toadie and Scott visit Susan, as Toadie wants to talk about Scott enrolling at Erinsborough High. Susan tells him it should be fine, but he'd need to sit some tests. Scott moans about the number of tests he has to do, and Toadie informs Susan that Karl has diagnosed him with ADHD, recommending drugs as the best option. Susan says she knows of the disorder but recons that an exercise or diet programme would be better, however Scott says no to both. Toadie tells him to go home, to which Scott comments that he's deserting him like he deserted Sindi earlier. After Scott leaves, Susan asks Toadie what's going on between him and Sindi, and he tells her that he can't start a relationship with her when she's already got a boyfriend, and he's still waking up in the night calling out for Dee. Susan tells him that he shouldn't let it stop him as he will always have feelings for Dee, but Sindi will be a different person in his life, and shouldn't replace Dee.
Rocco sneaks up behind Sindi who is getting things out of the boot of her car. She asks him why he's following her and he tells her to get into his car. Once inside he brings out a ring and tells her they are to be together forever, now that he has left his wife. Sindi looks shocked. He puts the ring on her finger.
Susan enters and interrupts Karl and Max. Max leaves, leaving Susan to talk to Karl about his diagnosis of Scott's ADHD. He tells her that it hasn't yet been confirmed and that he will still need to see a paediatrician, before anything final is decided. He objects to her views on the drugs, but she tells him that she recons they should try other methods before the drugs as they are the easiest way out of a difficult situation.
Max walks in commenting on how it's a lovely day outside and that they should open up the pub a bit more with big glass doors to allow it all to come in. Lou immediately starts fretting over his money situation, and Max tells him he needs to get his bad mood syndrome looked at. Rocco arrives and Lou runs to hide in the pub office. Max tells Rocco he hasn't seen him, so Rocco rings his mobile. Lou tells him that he's interstate in Adelaide, but Rocco reminds him of the 10% interest per day on the loan, and Lou confirms he'll have it with him the following day.
Scott is helping Sindi film a segment for Making Mansions, but they are interrupted by Toadie who asks to speak with Sindi. While he bargains with Scott for the privacy, Sindi struggles to take the ring off her finger behind her back. Toadie starts to apologise and gives up with the words so gives her the bunch of flowers that he's holding. She tries to hide the ring but Toadie notices. He asks her what it's about and she claims it's a family heirloom. He doesn't believe her and is shocked that 'lover boy' has proposed. He asks her why she accepted and she tells him she didn't quite. He starts to leave, and she tells him that he's always looking for an excuse. He tells her that it's a pretty good one. She attempts to take it off again.
Sindi follows Toadie back to Number 30 where he asks her if she's come to invite him to the wedding. She tells him that it isn't fair as he never gave her a chance to explain and just took the 'get out of jail free card' option. He reminds her she's wearing another person's engagement ring. She tells him that she tried to explain to Tiny that she wanted to break up but he took it the wrong way and told her that he was leaving his wife for her. She tells Toadie that it is really him who she wants to be with but just doesn't know how to tell Tiny. She tells him it's over between her and Tiny. Toadie says its hard being with a woman again, and being able to trust someone if he's just going to get hurt. Sindi reminds him that they're not 15 anymore and they have baggage, but they've got to decide if they really want it. He gives her a hug.
Karl comes over and informs Susan that as Scott's physician he has a right to express a medical opinion. She reminds him that she will soon be his teacher and also has a right to concern herself with his welfare. Karl asks her to leave Scott's treatment to him and not to use it as a personal attack. Susan queries why he is suddenly recommending drugs for Scott when he's always preferred to try other options first in the past. Karl tells her that he was going to tell her earlier about exploring the other options first and they call a truce. Susan reminds him that they are both going to have to help Scott through his ADHD together, sharing the load. They agree to do it on a professional level.
Toadie is on the phone to Tim promising him that he will be on the next plane to Sydney as there is no work going on in Melbourne. At that moment Rocco walks through the door and tells Toadie to stop as he is going to divorce his wife. Toadie asks if he can do that seeing as though he's Roman Catholic, but Rocco says he's going to make peace with God later. He tells Toadie that it is a fantastic day as he is going to marry the one he loves, and thanks Toadie in advance. Rocco drops that it is Sindi he is hoping to marry and tells Toadie that he was worried that she was seeing another man and even thought that it was him for a while. Toadie looks shocked but congratulates him anyway.
Susan is getting Scott to sit a maths test in preparation for school, but he soon gives up on it and wants to play 'dumpster' instead. Susan encourages him to think positively about what he can do, but he shows no interest. She agrees that they should perhaps leave it for a while, after he tries some vegetables. She tells him that he's not a baby anymore and at 16 he should be eating vegetable, but he tells her he'd rather be sticking needles into his eyeballs or listening to Celine Dion, so she dares him. She reminds him that Scott Timmons is always up for a dare, and wouldn't refuse one. He looks worried, but agrees to try one piece. After one bite he jumps up and searches for the tomato sauce. Susan looks horrified as he drinks it straight from the bottle.
In the back garden, Rocco catches Lou searching through his compost bin for the money he hid. Realising that he won't be able to pay him back, Rocco strikes up a deal so that everyone is able to win. He tells Lou he will help him swap his racehorse for a horse that's about to run in a country race meeting, so that they are able to place a few bets on it. Lou tells him that it's illegal, but Rocco tells him not to worry about the minor details.
