Lisa finds a packet of cigarettes and gloats to her friends about smoking when Susan walks up behind them. Susan says that she'll have to talk to Lisa's mum about her smoking habits, but Lisa quickly fesses up that she's never smoked before. Summer then enquires about Declan and Boyd warns her off relationships, saying they're not worth it.
Izzy grills Sky about the domestic tasks she had to do, she then tells Sky to give an order to a middle aged male customer, but Sky suggests that she go and give it to him. “Might need a shoulder to cry on. He's probably left his wife. Perfect day for a mid-life crisis and you're so good at dealing with them. And causing them.” Izzy quickly fires back and picks up on Sky's “romantic disappointment”, which makes Sky incredibly uncomfortable.
Sky tells Boyd off for telling Izzy. Boyd yells back for telling Serena. They both yell at one another and agree to break up. Sky is about to walk off, but Boyd stops her and they agree they don't want to break up.
Karl walks in and asks Izzy for a coffee. They start talking in Get Smart talk just as Susan walks in. Just then Scott gets carrying his coffee to get more milk because it's too strong for him, and instead it ends up on Susan's clothes. They start talking about Susan, and how she was much easier going then Karl says he would've been in the same situation. Susan has just walked into the surgery and overhears them talking. Toadie asks him if he misses her, and he says “you can't be married for nearly 30 years and not miss her”.
TOADIE: What about Susan herself?
KARL: Sometimes. Sometimes I wonder if it's the biggest mistake I've ever made.
They talk briefly about the colour of pastures, just as something comes flying from Toadie's office into Karl's. Susan quickly drops the jacket she was returning onto the chair and leaves just as Karl asks Toadie whether any of the papers on his desk are important.

The reception is a mess and just as he's about to head out Scott calls out to him and holds up two pictures and asks which one Toadie prefers (he chooses Angelina Jolie. Excellent choice!) and he sticks the picture on his collage.
Lyn and Susan are talking about Susan's encounter with Brent. Susan tells her how she felt and that having a man interested in her made her feel better about herself. He says he's made a terrible mistake.
Izzy arrives at Karl's place, saying she's trying to get away from two sex crazy teenagers she knows. Karl tells her she's welcome to use his place as a hang out, but he had hoped she'd come to watch Get Smart and that they'd make it a regular thing. It turns out that she did remember and he tells her he'd cancel any prior engagements if he had any.
Toadie and Scott look at his finished artwork and Toadie confesses that it's not exactly appropriate for the office. He starts pulling the pictures off, but Toadie stops him. Scott then starts moaning about how he should be out in the fresh air. He then says he could help Sindi, but Toadie informs him about their little argument and Scott asks what that has to do with him working with Sindi. Toadie starts explaining and turns around, but when he looks back Scott's gone.
Lyn invites Sindi over for dinner, but Sindi tells her she's got a ‘girlfriend' coming over. Scott then appears and tells her that Toadie says he can't help her anymore.
