Scullys
Sindi is playing back some of the TV Show footage but turns it off when Lyn comes in. Sindi says that Lyn is going to be the Queen of Nighttime TV!
Just then, Valda arrives. She gives out presents to Jack and Lyn. She guesses who Sindi is and tells her she's got some fabulous ideas for the bathroom!
Lyn answers the phone to Lou. Lou is calling from the hotel in Hong Kong. Lyn tells him that she really needs the money from the Trixie's dressing room renovation and Lou says he's just wired it to Joe's account. He's also added a bit on for the inconvenience. Lyn is very relieved. She asks when Lou is coming back but he says that's hard to say - the show is going so well, it might run and run.
Trixie's dressing room
Trixie reads a card from Lou when there's a knock at the door. An employee tells her that tonight's show has been cancelled and the rest of the cast have been sent home. Trixie says that the show must go on! But the orchestra has been sent home too. Trixie is very angry and blames the poor audience figures on the lack of publicity. She says she'll explain everything to Lou herself. She puts her head in her hands.

Sindi says that her boyfriend is wonderful - he's putting up the money for the show and everything. Sindi says that Toadie is the one that got away and she'll get over it. But she can't understand why they can't be friends without it being weird between them.
