STEPH: (shifting on the couch) Geez. You know, I don't know how Sky's going to manage to sleep on this thing all night.
MAX: Not my department. The kids ask...the kids receive
STEPH: Oh well, I guess there won't be that much sleeping going on anyway.
MAX: What do you mean by that?
STEPH: Max when your boyfriend or girlfriend stay over the night, you spend most of the night sneaking around in the dark remember?
MAX: You might have, I didn't
STEPH: Pull the other one

MAX: Like what?

KARL: Susan, I'm sorry I can't keep doing this. Oh, I can't keep lying. This is going to sound horrible but I have to be honest with you, it's the only way I know how to put it. I didn't miss you. I mean, ofcourse I missed you, you're my best friend but I didn't miss you the way you missed me. I liked having extra space. You know, the quiet time to think. I liked being on my own and in fact I need more of it.
SUSAN: So we're back to that are we, I'm crowding you is that it?
KARL: This is nothing to do with you.
SUSAN: Nothing to do with me.
KARL: You know what I mean.
