Boyd arguing with Sky about how much he has to do to impress her.

Taj knocking on the window of Stu's car.
Taj asks Stuart if his all right, but he tells him to leave him alone. Taj leans in and says to Stu to come back to number 30 for some food and a shower, but he shakes his head declaring he doesn't deserve that. He then continues that he cannot go back and face Toadie and hear him gloat. Taj firmly says that he is not going to leave him- not in a million years, but Stu shuts the car door on him and continues to look out the windscreen.
Sky attempts to make up with Boyd and brings him a coffee. She begins to butter up to him and says that the coffee's really nice. Boyd looks at her then looks down at his coffee. Sky then notices two guys holding up stud wallets and she pokes fun at them saying how dorky they are for having something like that. Boyd then holds up a wallet just like that and she blushes. She then nervously admits that his wallet is more classy than the other two guys but then he mocks looking confused- seeing that he bought it in the same mall in the same store as them. Sky looks at the floor awkwardly and embarrassed.
Max and Steph are preparing to watch a movie when Summer calls out from the kitchen that the popcorn is not popping. Max calls out to her to keep trying, and looks at Steph. He asks if she is ok, and she sighs, admitting that she cannot believe that her treatment is over. Max looks confused and asks whether it is a good thing, and she says that it is- but the reality is finally hitting her that the rest of the battle is hers alone. Max smiles and reminds her that she is not alone and he will be with her every step of the way. Steph smiles at him and mutters to hold her. He puts is arms around Steph and tells her everything will be fine, while Summer calls from the kitchen that the popcorn is popping now. Max and Steph both smile at each other.
Boyd enters and Max asks where Sky is. He just shrugs his shoulders. Max holds up the movie 'Ghostworld' and tells him that they rented it out specially for Sky as it is up her ally- so it's fine if he invites her over. Boyd shakes his head and declares that he doesn't want to bother her so it doesn't matter. Summer then comes in with a bowl of popcorn and sits in between Max and Steph stating that there's more popcorn for them. Max and Steph grin at each other.
The house of trouser:
Toadie is trying to watch TV, but Connor is going on about Carmella and how hard it is to keep ignoring her. Toadie rolls his eyes, like he has heard this talk constantly, but he continues, admitting that she is cute which is perhaps why it is so hard- but Toadie shushes him. Taj then comes in asking where the blankets are. Toadie and Connor look confused until Taj fills them in about Stuart sleeping in his car. Toadie just ignores him and faces back to the TV, and Taj pleads with Connor to help him. Connor looks hesitant, when Taj tells him that he has flipped out and won't come back here with him. Toadie just shrugs and says that he can't make a man do what he doesn't want to do. Taj shakes his head and asks how Toadie could be so- before cutting himself off and getting some blankets. Connor looks hesitant but stays with Toadie.
Watching Ghostworld, Summer states that the main character Enid looks a lot like Sky. Steph twigs and says that she knew she reminded her of someone, and it does too. Summer then curiously wonders what Sky used to look like before watching this movie, as she must have copied it. Boyd asks them to be quiet and watch the movie- but at the end of it, Max tells him to give them a fair go, because Sky is a dead ringer for Enid. Boyd looks pensive.
Lyn and Joe are setting up the Christmas decorations and Lyn tells Joe that they have lost a few from last year. Joe picks up the two remaining wise men and offers to throw them out, but Lyn calls out to him telling him that he cannot throw out things like that. Joe looks pained, and insists that their blocking the view of the tree. Lyn gets out the angel and reminds Jack it's the one Steph made in year one. Jack scoffs and says that it looks so tatty it looks like Harvey's love toy and Lyn looks outraged. Steph then comes in and asks what's going on and Jack informs her that they are reminiscing over her old artwork. Steph admits it looks pretty old but Lyn insists it's perfect. She asks Steph to put it up onto the tree for good luck. Joe helps her up and Steph puts the angel onto the top of the tree and smiles. Lyn and Joe comfort each other.
Connor looks worried and tells Toadie that Taj didn't come home last night. Toadie shrugs and says that he probably hooked up with someone, but Connor shakes his head. He then asks whether they should have been more supportive, but Toadie scoffs that he didn't deserve it. Connor reminds him that he believed in life mechanics but now lost everything and he's feeling the backlash. Toadie mutters that he must have a conscious then, but then out loud says to Connor that he works every day with clients that have been cheated out of their money and their dignity hangs on by a thread and were ripped off. Connor tells him that Stu is a mate and they care about him- or at least Toadie did once. Toadie sighs and says that it is sad isn't it. Connor calls out that he is going after him, and Toadie rolls his eyes and yells to him to come back complaining after he has burnt his bridges yet again.
Boyd walks up to Sky and holds up the movie Ghostworld. He asks her whether she has seen it and she looks confused, but admits she has. He then causally tells her that she looks a lot like the main character Enid- and then comes straight out and asks whether she based her personality on the film. Sky looks bewildered, but he demands she answers the question, and truthfully. She hesitantly looks down and admits that she liked Enid and could relate to her- but then quickly defends herself because everyone copies things sometimes. Boyd looks outraged and calls her a hypocrite because she scoffed at people who weren't individuals, but at the same time she's been doing the same thing. He then admits it was hard to live up to Sky's expectations for him, trying to become what she wanted him to. Boyd shakes his head and calls her nothing but a character in a movie that she ripped off. Sky looks upset and calls out to Boyd but turns to leave and mutters don't bother. Sky's almost in tears.
The Pub *Story line of the night*:
Steph heads into Max's office and begins to lock both doors and close the blinds. He looks confused and asks what she is doing, but then realizes. She can tell by the silence and then winks, saying to him 'you're a smart cookie Mr. Hoyland'. Max bewilderedly asks whether it is the right time or place and she declares that it is exactly right. They kiss and lean over onto the table and out of screen.
Taj and Connor are sitting with Stuart discussing his options. Taj suggests Oakley, but Stu shakes his head saying that his family is too ashamed of him to go back there. Connor looks like he will suggest number 30, but stops. He then asks if he wants anymore food, but Stu admits he doesn't deserve it. Both Taj and Connor head for the counter and begin to talk. Connor says that he needs somewhere that someone can keep an eye on him, but they can't take them home because Toadie will flip. Taj suggest that Stu stays at his uncle's caravan park until they convince Toadie to let him stay. Connor looks thrilled and they both go back to the table and tell him about the temporary solution. Stu shakes his head and says that he has no money, but Taj insists that he can stay there because it's his uncle's- trust me. Connor then fishes for an answer, and Stu smiles and thanks the two of them. They all grin.
Sky is walking away after having a drink but Boyd stops her. She insists to leave him alone, but Boyd begins to stir her. He asks her what would Enid do in this position- would she scream abuse or catch the next bus out of town. Sky opens her mouth, but Boyd cuts her off admitting it's quite different when the shoes on the other foot. She apologizes and then tells Boyd the he wouldn't understand. She turns to leave but he forcefully puts a hand on Sky's shoulder and asks to try him. She sighs and admits that she has known that she has had different tastes since she was young, and when she saw the movie it was a relief to see someone like her- and thought her to be kind of an inspiration. So she dresses and acts like she does to prove that she can be different, btu in a strange way to get attention as well. Boyd scoffs, but Sky cries out that she's not the kind of person that makes friends easily, looks at Serena- she's gorgeous and people want to take her picture, and she's not like that. She finishes off by saying that Boyd wouldn't have even looked at her if she didn't act the way she did- and she looks into his eyes and confirms that is the truth. She walks away leaving Boyd speechless.
*Back at the Pub*:
Max and Steph are picking the papers off the floor both grinning playfully at each other. Max looks at her and goes 'wow… that was..'. Steph stops him and gives him a kiss and thanks him for being so patient with her. Steph then looks around nervously and asks when they should walk out separately, and Max laughs. He tells her that one minute she's banshee and the next she's scared of being sprung. Steph tries to tell him off and bursts out laughing. Lou then knocks on the door and asks if Max can give him the keys for the cellar. They both look at each other nervously and Max calls out that he will be a minute. Steph looks at the two doors and has to pick which one Lou is not standing at- and she picks the wrong one. Lou is looking a both of them strangely, and Steph quickly says something about the door locking on it's own when someone closes it sometimes. Lou points out that the blinds were shut and both doors were locked, but then trails off answering his own question. He looks horrified and Max hands him the keys. He tells them to carry on and shuts the door quickly behind him. Both of them look guilty and nervous before bursting out laughing.
House of Trouser:
Taj and Connor come back in and Taj asks him whether it will all turn out. Connor reminds him that his uncle said he will call if something happened and they both stop in front of Toadie. He asks if they want to come bowling for something fun, but Taj glares at him from there previous argument and heads to his room. He then asks Connor if Taj was still upset about before and Connor shrugs. Toadie then says to Connor that he can come, but he sits down telling Toadie if he had the day they just did he would be buggered. Toadie shrugs and declares that he is not going to sit around moping, he is going to knock over a few pins.
Boyd walk in and Summer immediately starts hounding him about whether he asked Sky about Ghost world. Boyd asks her to stop but she presses on asking if she was embarrassed and if things were over. Boyd tells her it's not a big deal, and Summer looks pained, declaring that it is a scandal. Boyd shakes his head and insists that she has no idea because she is too young. Boyd then jumps off the couch and walks out the front door.
Boyd knocks on the door and Sky answers asking how many times he has to put the boot in. Boyd shakes his head and Sky looks confused and invites him in. He tells her that he is not here for an apology, but wants to know whether he can wipe the slate clean. Sky shakes hear head bewildered and asks what happened to what he thought before. He sighs and says that up until then he realized how petty what they were fighting over was- and after all he likes spending time with her. She smiles and tells him that he isn't bad to spend time with either. He then admits that is kind of a compliment that Sky was willing to change for him and she playfully says he is crazy. Boyd is silent for a moment and then confesses that you do crazy things when your in love. Sky looks shell shocked and says 'beg your pardon?' Boyd smiles and insists that she heard and Sky looks amazed and pleased.
Joe has decorated all the front lawn with Christmas decorations and Jack notices and looks shocked. Joe insists that they need to get into the spirit of Christmas and Jack rolls his eyes and mutters 'not another lecture about Scully pride.' Joe begins the lecture when Lyn comes out. He calls to close her eyes and leads her out to the garden and tells her to open. She gasps and hugs Joe telling him that it's beautiful - even more than the Bishop's. Joe looks pleased, and Jack picks up the paper and reads the headline, and looks shocked. He calls out to Lyn to go shopping without him because he needs to see someone, and rushes over to number 30.
The House of Trouser:
Toadie answers the door and invites Jack in, and he breathlessly asks for Taj. Toadie calls out to him and asks Jack to see whether he can get him out of the dumps, and leaves Jack and Taj to give them some privacy. He begs Taj not to freak out, and shows the paper to Taj. They both stare at the headline: 'Stolen exams fiasco - West Warratah student confesses.' Each has a look of nervousness and horror on their faces.
