Recap
Jack goes to hit Taj after he tells him he was chasing Lori when she fell. Toadie kisses Sindi. Lori says she has to ask Nina something about Jack.
Lori says she knows Nina's close to Jack and she wonders if she knows what's wrong, as he's been so wound up and seems to be bottling something up. Lori asks the stunned Nina to help her look after him and then goes on to say it's funny but a while ago she was jealous of Nina and Jack. Now the accident has shown her how much Jack loves her.
Darcy and Dee are eating in the Coffee Shop when he receives a call. It's apparently an invitation to a big card game, so he asks if she'll go with him. She gets flustered and leaves soon after. Sindi's outside on her way to the same sale shoe sale as Dee rushed to. Darcy's worried she'll run into Dee and she assures him she'll say nothing to her, but she says she likes Toadie and refuses to stay away from him as he's cute - and a lawyer.
In the hospital corridor, Jack asks Nina why she was inside so long with Lori. She won't go into details but eventually admits Lori talked about how much she loves and wants Nina's help to make sure he's Ok. She walks off saying he may feel sick, but she feels like dirt.Jack goes in to see Lori, who's quite cheerful but finding the hospital room drab. She wishes she could go home.
Libby goes into Susan's classroom for a pep talk on her way to the interview for the job.
Sindi meets Toadie outside the Coffee Shop and talks him into having dinner with her that evening.
Libby's disappointed because the interview went badly as Candace feels she's not experienced enough for the job. Susan doesn't believe this, as she thinks Libby's a natural. She thinks there's a hidden agenda and tells Libby she's not going to let Candace Barkham get away with it.
At the pub, Sindi and Toadie are ready to order when Dee comes in. She asks to be introduced to Sindi, who asks if she'll join them. As Dee walks away after refusing to sit with them, Sindi comments that she seems nice and asks if she's a friend of Toadie's. he just says yes, shakily.
Nina calls at the Scullys' with some music to take to Lori. He wants her to take it herself but she says she can't look at Lori and pretend so the best thing is for her to leave them alone.
Sindi is still talking chirpily about the labels she likes in fashion. He's obviously not very interested until she comes up with a risqué one. Libby, Susan and Dee are sitting a little distance away and hear their laughter, so Dee goes over to Darcy and asks him if the invitation to the card night is still open as she'd love to go.
Lori's thrilled with the things Jack has taken to make her feel more at home in her ward. He lies and says Nina couldn't bring the Walkman herself as she had an assignment to do. She tells him she's worried about Taj and asks Jack to talk to him as he wouldn't listen to her.
Toadie insists on going home. As they leave he and Sindi walk past Susan and Libby who are wondering what he's up to when Taj walks in. Libby goes to talk to him, pointing out that he shouldn't be there. He has a (fake) ID saying he's 18 and as she starts to comment he says she's not his teacher any more as he's leaving school.
Taj angrily tells Libby that there's no point. She convinces him that he shouldn't make a decision while he's still upset and angry so he calms down and agrees to go into school the following day and discuss it.
Darcy and Dee arrive, dressed formally. Darcy tells her the stake is $1000 to play. He ignores her disapproval and moves to the table. 'You only live once.'
Toadie and Sindi are having coffee at No 32. She persuades him to sit with her but when she's still saying she didn't just come home with her for instant coffee, he tells her the girl they met at the pub was his ex-girlfriend and he needs more time. As soon as Sindi leaves, he picks up his phone and dials dee's number but doesn't go through with the call.
At the card night, Darcy wins 'again'.
At school the following morning, Jack meets Nina and passes on Lori's thanks for the Walkman before she rushes away.
Susan advises Libby that if her application's turned down she should go over Candace Barkham's head.
Taj passes on his way to class and they agree that should be chalked up as a win.
Jack talks to Taj about a football match that day. Jack offers to play in replacement of an injured player and they smile at one another.
