Best Boyfriend Interview with Libby and Stuart.
Nina and Jack arguing about hurting their partners.
Lib and Stu's photo shoot and the photographer asks them to kiss. They consider, but Libby pulls back and tells them that she pulls out.
Stuart drops Libby back at school. Libby apologizes, saying it wasn't fair that she bugs him to enter, and drops out at the last minute. Stuart says it's fine, and jokes about he couldn't win anyway. They both laugh and Lib apologizes again before hopping out of the car.
Jack is kicking a soccer ball inside. Nina tells him to quit it, and they have a small argument before Lori and Taj break it up. Barkingam catches Lori with her pants on again and tells her she has an hour liter duty after school. Jack says 'I told you so', but Lori just shakes her head and says that she can fight fire with fire.
Susan catches up with Libby and asks her how the Best Boyfriend Competition was. Libby excuses herself and rushes off to leave Susan looking confused.
Karl walks into the coffee shop and asks Harold for a carrot juice. He mentions that he is trying out for the Under 35's footy team, and how he is trying to get fit. Stu walks in and stands next to Karl; the atmosphere is all tense. Karl apologizes to Stu for the pressure that he and Susan have been putting on him recently. Stuart waves it off but Karl continues. He says that they should have been thanking him for being Libby's friends through this difficult time. Stu smiles.
Nina and Lori are looking at pictures and discussing the topics they chose for English Literature. Barkingam gives Susan the list that she has to teach her class. The class looks disappointed and Lori tells Barkingam that people have already started, they are looking forward to choosing their own books, and she personally works better when she has a say. Barkingam tells her to be quiet. Susan begs her to reconsider, but she is firm and leaves.
Jack and Taj are kicking a soccer ball around and they spot Libby sitting on a bench looking pretty upset. Taj wants to see what is the matter but Jack stops him saying they are meant to be in Media Studies with her right now, and they don't need to get into trouble. However Taj walks up to Lib and asks her what's wrong. Libby insists she is fine, and that Taj should be in class. He tells her that here classes are great and his favourite and the moment. That seems to cheer her up a bit and she smiles and thanks him.
Libby runs into class late and seems to be distracted. She asks them to get out their textbooks, but Taj puts his hand up and Libby calls on him. He tells her that there was a documentary on last night about teenagers wanting to start a charity, but people wouldn't let them believing they were untrustworthy. Libby asks how many other people saw this documentary as well and over half the class raises their hands. Lib Ok's it and tells them to put their textbooks aside and to think of ideas to help start this charity.
Harold is doing a breathing exercise for the rehearsal for the play and is asking the actors to walk round in a circle breathing deeply. They are protesting so Harold dismisses them. He asks Jack and Nina to stay a little bit longer, and Lori jokes that it is probably to walk around in more circles. As everyone leaves he tells Nina and Jack to hold hands and stare into each other's eyes and breathe evenly. They look into each other's eyes.
Libby is looking at a photo of Drew. Susan walks in and offers her a coffee, and a bit of mothering. Libby tells Susan that she found it strange pretending that Stu was her boyfriend and admits that she actually felt something for him for a slight moment...something more than friends, so she couldn't go through with it. She also agrees with Susan telling her that her and Karl were right about her spending too much time with Stuart. Susan gives her a big hug and comforts her.
At rehearsal Jack and Nina are trying to talk Harold out of all these love scenes, but Harold reminds them that he didn't want them anyway, but they cast insisted. Nina objects telling him that they make her feel uncomfortable, and she can't do them. Harold sighs and suggests recess.
Susan and Libby continue to talk about Stuart. Susan tells Lib what she is still grieving and what she is feeling is completely normal. She also admits to Libby, that one day she may meet someone else...but her love for Drew will still be there; all she has to do is to look into Ben's eyes. Libby smiles tearfully.
At rehearsals Nina, Jack and Harold are still debating the 'love scene' issue, when Karl knocks on the door. He apologizes for interrupting, and asks Harold when his finished could he have a lift home? Harold jokes about him not wanting to jog home, and Karl gives a goofy grin saying he's quite fit already. Harold asks him to sit down and watch Nina and Jack act a scene, and give him some feedback. Karl agrees and at that moment Taj and Lori walk in. Harold asks them to sit down to and watch Jack and Nina, and they sit down eagerly. They try and act but Nina insists that she has forgotten her lines. Harold groans and tells them that opening night is only a few weeks away. He tells them that they need to increase their rehearsals, and dismisses them.
Jack and Lori are heading to school the next morning, with Lori still wearing her pants. They kiss.
In the next driveway, Susan complains to Karl about him moaning last night about his sore limbs and to cut down on the exercise. Karl objects, and Susan just rolls her eyes. Libby notices Stu and excuses herself for a moment. Lib tells Stuart that he doesn't have to pick Ben up from Crèche anymore, she will re-arrange her schedule. Stu tells her it's no problem and that he likes spending time with Ben. Libby insists saying that it is unfair of her to rely on him so much and thanks him for his help. She catches up to Susan as they hop in the car.
Barkingam catches Lori again insists that school is not a fashion parade. She tells her to take off her pants. So... Lori does. Right in the middle of the hallway. Barkingam looks disgusted and students laugh and look amused. She informs Lori that she has a weeks detention and orders her to put back on her pants. Lori grins.
Barkingam then catches up with Susan and insists that she doesn't appreciate her not agreeing with her decisions. Parents phoned the school informing her that she didn't agree with her and blamed her. Barkingam then has the hide to say that the school comes first, and she thought that Susan understood that...but obviously not. She leaves leaving Susan to look bewildered.
Lori and Taj sit in the coffee shop and discuss what the problem could be between Nina and Jack. Lori then gets a great idea. A double date, the four of them. Taj agrees.
The Kennedy's are sitting in the pub with Susan fuming about her conversation with Candice Barkingam earlier. Libby looks at Karl's meal, which consists of a meat pie. She asks what has happened to the dieting. He insists he needs to treat himself once in a while. Stu walks in and begins to discuss something with Libby. Ben notices him and says 'Dada.' They look at him surprised and then look at Stuart. Stu looks embarrassed.
