Max comes in and Lou greets him. He asks Max if he's seen Harold lately - he wants to know if he's been sniffing around Rosie! Max tells him off and tells him to ask Rosie herself - or better yet, ask Summer(!)
Max is reading the contract for the pub and tackles Lou on why he's only got a 49% share. Max insists that the deal is 50%. Lou says it's close enough, but Max says unless it's 50%, the deal is a dead duck.
Darcy comes round with a bunch of roses for Chloe. They sit down at the dining table. Darcy says if Chloe gets fed up with him, she only has to ask him to leave. Chloe pours them a glass of wine.
Chloe explains that she's been on her own in the house for quite a while - she's thinking of selling up. She admits that she's always been happy in the house though. Darcy says that's her answer.
Lou is still insisting that it's standard procedure for someone buying in to get 49%. Max won't budge though. Lou suggests they toss for it saying life's a gamble. Max is rather takenaback but agrees. Lou loses the toss, but Max has played a trick - he reveals a second coin in his hands. He explains to Lou that it's not right to cheat or play games. Lou agrees to amend the contract.
Steph comes in and comes up to the bar. She buys a six-pack of beer.
Stuart and Flick are having a romantic meal. They are quite dressed up - Flick is wearing a red dress. Steph barges in with her beer saying she thought Stuart would like to share it. But she realises her mistake and quickly leaves despite Flick awkwardly inviting her to join them(!)
No-one has heard anything about Toadie's Dad yet.
When Steph has gone, Flick sighs and says she doesn't want Steph to feel left out. Stuart says Steph's fine - a bit lonely, but fine.
Harold is clearing up outside and comes across a flyer for a dating agency.
Just then Lou comes up and asks Harold outright if he's trying it on with Rosie. Harold takes offence and says he's joining a dating agency.
LOU: You've got to be joking!
HAROLD: Sadly, no.
Lou says he'll believe it when he sees it! Harold looks at the flyer again.
Steph is on the phone to Nina, saying that she can look after Summer. Steph goes to the door and SUmmer is there!
STEPH: What did you do? Teleport yourself?
Summer says that she knew Steph would say yes. She asks Steph why she's on her own playing cards. Summer decides to teach Steph how to play poker. Steph laughs in surprise.
Darcy and Chloe are chatting on the sofa in front of a log fire. There's a bit of a pause in the conversation so Chloe offers to make a coffee.
Just then the doorbell rings and scary music plays. Chloe goes to the door and finds some masked men.
CHLOE: Darcy! Darcy!
HOODED MAN: Stay right where you are! This is a robbery!
Stuart and Flick are just finishing their meal, but they're interrupted by a knock at the door again. It's Lou. Stuart tries to get rid of him but Lou barges into the kitchen and sits down for a chat. He asks about Big Kev, and then tells him he's had another idea to put by Stuart.
Summer thinks she is whipping Steph at cards, but Steph has a good hand up her sleeve and wins.
There's a knock at the door and it's Harold. Summer invites him to play cards.
The robbers have tied Darcy and Chloe up while they rob the place. Chloe is very upset and shaking and Darcy is trying to reassure her to be brave.
Harold hangs out for ages until Steph gives him his dish back. Eventually he wanders off. There's another knock at the door and it's Max. Summer hugs Steph goodbye. Max tells Summer to go across to the house as he wants a word with Steph.
Max thanks Steph for filling in on the babysit - he didn't think it would be this late. He says he thinks Summer likes Steph.
MAX: Still, I'm sure you've got better things to do with your nights than play with ten-year olds, eh? Goodnight.
As Steph shuts the door, the look on her face says it all.
The robbers are...er...still robbing. But eventually they leave. Darcy can't get his hands out of the ties. Chloe says the housekeeper won't be there until 8am. Darcy starts playing i-Spy and even Chloe laughs.
CHLOE: This is going to be the longest night of my life.
Chloe is telling Darcy that she's guilty of just working towards the latest acquisition. Darcy says there's nothing wrong with success. Chloe says she's not successful in the things that really matter - like her marriage and her children. She blames herself for the way Mark treated the Scullys girls - she's always delegated his entire upbringing, boaring school etc. Darcy says that she can't take responsibility for her children all her life. Chloe thanks Darcy for being there - she couldn't have coped without him tonight.
CHLOE: I can't think of anyone I'd rather spend the night tied up with!
Chloe and Darcy have fallen asleep, still tied up. The housekeeper comes in, and sees the mess. She is shocked to see Chloe and Darcy tied up.
CHLOE:(waking up) Oh, Jennifer. Thank God.
Max is explaining to Summer that he doesn't want to go on the rigs again he wants to be in Erinsborough as much as he can - he misses Boyd and Summer too much. Max tells Summer he's here for good and he'll never go away again.
Steph comes in and Harold asks her if she'd ever consider going to a dating agency.
STEPH:(offended) What, do I look that desperate?
HAROLD: No, no, no...
STEPH: The day I go out with some loser from a dating agency, do me a favour - take me out the back and shoot me.
Max is setting up the chairs when Lou comes in with the new contract. Max says he wants to change the name from Lou's Place as well - but he's only joking. He does pick up Scobie though and says he's got to go!
Chloe and Darcy have been untied and Darcy is calling the police. She and Darcy sit on the bed and stretch out their muscles. They admit that they told each other things they'd never told anyone else.
Stuart is on the phone to Toadie - he hasn't found his dad, but he's coming home anyway. Flick comes round and gives Stuart some flowers from her garden.
Stuart opens the oven and finds the muffins he's made are burnt. They laugh and tell each other they love each other.
