Matt says not another bill, he has to make his car payment in 2 days or they will repossess his car.
Toadie tells Maggie he should not feel this way, he tried not to but is so sorry.
No 30
Maggie asks why he had to say that, he says it had to be said and if she hates him it is ok, she says maybe it did and he is a very good person and he did well with the case before running off, leaving Toadie standing there.
Coffee Shop
Matt owes $400 in 2 days, Stuart says to ask his dad, but Matt does not want to as he worked really hard for the car. Dee doesn't want to sound mean but says the rent has to come first he agrees but Stuart offers to help.
Lou arrives and says that they are hiding in the coffee shop costing him business, Lou explains that he had to let Matt go or the licensing people would have shut him down. Matt agrees and that he owed the rent and they want his car, Lou agrees a couple of days before leaving.
Harold wants to get Lou to help volunteers for his fate at the church hall, Lou cannot as he is flat out tomorrow, Harold says he thought he would be but Lou thinks Harold will really be in his element tomorrow.
No 32
Maggie says Emily should not wear her outfit after dinner and she will catch a cold, but Emily says your not the boss of me!, Evan says that you must have got that from Leo. Maggie goes to Leo who says they were his only friends and now they hate me, Evan says it is the way it has got to be and to wash his hands after playing with the dog which annoys Leo as he goes.
Evan asks if it is something at work, Cox and associates is a gigantic myth the only associates are on the door and the letterhead, Toadie and her against the legal system. Evan tells Emily that your mum and Toadie are a dynamic team, before taking her off for tea.

Matt is not pleased that Lou has given him a couple more days for the rent but he wants to know what then, Toadie says sleep in the back yard. Dee asks if everything is ok, he says the world is heating up, the oceans are rising, the rents not paid and I don't have any associates before going to bed. Matt says he is going to bed as well but offers to help Stuart with his bed, but Dee says they are ok and he should crash. Matt says she is telling him to crash, Stuart says crash and burn, Dee says it will all look better after a good nights sleep as Matt leaves.
Dee starts making Stuarts bed, and asks which end but he asks her to decide and asks if she is going to do hospital corners, she says it depends if he wants them. He says yes please nurse and he is not going to stay any longer than he is wanted, she says he can stay as long as he needs. He offers to watch a late night movie with her which she agrees with.

Drew is there to repay Susan the money he owes her, Susan says he doesn't have to repay it but Drew has a thing with debt and they are doing ok now. Susan says he is working hard but Drew says that's the world now. Susan says that Drew should be there for Ben, he says Libby and him need to work out their own lives and it is important to them.
The Garage
Matt hates the old steering wheel, Stuart says it is better than nothing and hi to Lou who asks if Drew is in as he has a belt job booked. Just then Drew arrives and goes to start work but Lou takes him off to the coffee shop.
Blue car drives up and taunts Matt for running out of gas, Stuart bets $500 that Matt can win, they agree to race.
Coffee Shop
Lou buys Drew a coffee and doughnuts and lectures Drew on not spending enough time with Ben, but Drew is not happy and says Lou works for money he does not need at least he works hard for money he needs, Lou is shocked but Drew says if he leaves it alone then so will he. Drew asks for a takeaway as he has work to do.
Susan asks Lou what happened, Lou says better left alone. Susan goes to help out with food for the fate, Harold and Rosie are grateful. Lou offers to help and Rosie says she should put him on her list of pillars that has a few perks, Lou asks like eternal salvation, she says you get invited to her place for dinner on a regular basis. Harold says this is not a social occasion you are here to work, Lou says he is a hard worker.
No 30
Dee yawns and asks Toadie if he has seen North by North West, he says Hitchcock. She says there is a scene with James Stuart running at full pelt, he says Kerry Grant and seen it. Dee says huh, he says it is Kerry Grant not James Stuart. Dee asks what it the problem, he says it is a crop duster but Dee wants to know his problem, he says Stuart Parker is amazing as he stayed there last night and now all his stuff has been packed away there is no trace he was there.
Maggie walks in as the door was open, Toadie asks if Dee can leave them alone which she does.
Maggie asks about work, she wants to know why she got so angry, he says she has every right to as it was stupid. But she says telling her as it complicates things as he has been lying to her so he got angry, he says she deserved to know. Maggie says she does like him and in another time and place, Toadie asks to drop this which she agrees with. She doesn't want to see him leave as they work well together and she understands if he found it necessary, he says he needs to think. Maggie wants to know if she did anything to cause misunderstanding, he asks if she can go which she does.
Dee arrives back and asks what is going on.
The garage
Stuart wants to retune Matts engine before the burn off, Stuart wants to bet on the side but Matt is against the idea. Leo arrives and asks what Matt and Stuart are up to, Matt agrees to tell him if Leo can keep quiet, then they are going to race the car.
Coffee Shop
Lou says he is a big part of the community, Harold wants Lou to do more work and that Rosie's sponge cake is ok to ice so she leaves.
Susan tells Lou he is flirting, he says never and that he will behave.
No 30
Toadie is explaining the problems of unattainable love. Dee says it is a step up from Meredith the sandwich girl, Toadie wishes if only, she asks if Matt know and he says yes. Dee says it is though, Toadie adds humiliating. Dee asks what about living with Matt, he says he has enough problems already.
Coffee shop
Susan is getting some cakes out of the oven, Harold is worried.
Lou asks Rosie about fund raising, she says there is never enough money but he has an idea.
Street
Guys are stood around the cars, Stuart places his bet. Leo encourages Matt that he can win, Stuart also believes he can win and has put fuel in the car this time! Matt squares up to the other driver who says he will meet him at the finish.
They rev their engines waiting for the start, until someone drops their arm and they start and race down to where Steward and Leo are stood, Matt wins the race.
Coffee Shop
Evan calls Toadie over to celebrate their first big victory together, and gets Toadie a chair but Toadie has to go as he has people waiting but Evan just wants to say that Toadie and Maggie make a great team and soon it will be Hancock and Rebecchi partners for life, but Toadie has to go.
In the kitchen Lou apologizes for the disruption, and that Harold also runs a tight ship and wants to give him a hand, Harold asks him to do the bins but Lou cannot because of his back so they pack.
Street
Stuart is celebrating his win with Matt, Stuart says they should do this more often with his driving. Matt agrees, Leo wants in but Matt and Stuart say he is too young.
Coffee Shop
Harold say they now need delivering, Lou has to go back to the pub and cannot make the fair, Rosie says she will be in touch about the bingo. Harold says gambling!
Maggie wants a word with Toadie, she doesn't want him to leave work but he thinks he doesn't have a choice but she says he does which confuses Toadie.
