No 32
Maggie tells Emily to put her pyjamas on and asks Evan what is on TV, he says he hopes something good as he feels like being a couch potato.

Leo arrives, Evan says he said no already as he is not convinced it will be properly supervised, and that he is not going to, Leo leaves.

Maggie comes back and comforts him, he asks if he is doing the right thing, but she does not answer.

Ellie asks if a few cups of coffee can do that, Karl says if there is an underlying condition, Susan is impressed by Ellie and how well she did, Ellie says it is nothing as the ambulance people talked her through she felt like she was in a hospital show. Susan and Karl agree she acted responsibly.

No 30
Toadie calls Matt to pay Lou the rent, he has not got all the money as Lou sacked him. Lou agrees to wait for the rest of the money until Matt has a job. Toadie is going to the pub as Tad arrives and tells them that she kissed him in public, he was surprised as he did not see it coming and does not want anything to do with her. Toadie takes the naff saying I guess you really have the hots for this chick then, Tad says no and he doesn't want anything to do with her she just has the hots for him and what should he do. Matt says nothing just stay out of her way and make sure as few people as possible get hurt, Toadie? Which he agrees with.

The Street
Matt is washing their car, and asks Leo if he will help by doing the other side, Leo agrees if Matt helps him as Dad wont let him go to Adelaide, Matt says can they trust him, but Leo says they are just going to break and can Matt talk to Dad as he just wants him to see his point of view, Matt agrees before asking a walking away Leo what about washing the car!?

Ellie calls out hi to Tad who ignores her.

Karl is mixing some herbs for his health, Susan says from the person who scoffs at vitamin pills, he says he is making records of what happens and offers he a glass. Susan wants Karl to take Ellie on for work experience, he is not very keen but Susan really wants him to and her boldness could help.

Ellie walks in and says she liked what she did yesterday, Karl says what she did yesterday was a once in a blue moon and being a doctor is a lot of work. Karl agrees if Darcy will be her mentor, Susan agrees to meet at the pub for lunch to see what Darcy says. Ellie wants to bring along Michelle but Karl says no as Joe does not like them together.

Keith Cox and associates Office
Toadie is working opposite Maggie and keeps looking at her, she offers to go for coffee but Toadie says he will go, she says it is her turn to pay.

Keith walks in and says he has come from court and they go everything they asked for, he would take them out for lunch but has a prior engagement but agrees to buy them a drink after work then leaves.

Maggie says that they are a great team and kisses Toadie on the cheek.

Leo is arguing on the phone and hangs up, he tells Evan they guys think he is a joke, they are all allowed to go and he is the only one and that everyone thinks of him as a little kid and leaves.

Evan tells Emily to go to get dressed and tickles her until she goes.

The Pub
Lou asks Tad how the world is treating him, Tad says ok but he could do with some extra money and asks if he could work in the Pub but Lou remembers problems with the car wash, Tad says he is more mature now and Lou should trust him. Lou explains trust is an overused word and mainly by people that cannot be trusted, Tad is not impressed but Lou is just pulling his leg.

Karl walks in and asks the innkeeper for decent nosh. Karl, Susan and Ellie sit down Susan explains to Lou that Ellie saved Darcys life she gave him CPR, Lou asks if he is ok Karl says he has "Endocartitus", an inflammation of the heart valve and lining Lou leaves to call Darcy, Ellie wants to invite Tad to eat with them.

Karl call out Tadpole do you want lunch with us, Susan says our shout so he comes over.

Keith Cox and Associates Office
Toadie wants to hand in his notice.

Pub office
Lou is joking with Darcy on the phone about owing him some money.

Pub
Tad asks how did Ellie know what to do, she says instinct Karl adds plus the ambulance officers talked her though, Ellie kicks Tad which makes him jump so he offers everyone a round of drinks which Ellie offers to help with.

At the bar Tad is annoyed with Ellie, and asks her to stop but she says like she will do what he says.

Keith Cox and Associates Office
Maggie arrives and Keith explains Toadie wants to leave, she says he will have to talk to his associates about it. Keith explains that there are no associates it is just him, she says the company says Keith Cox and associates he says it sounds more impressive and he has to convince Toadie to stay or he is out of business.

Susan says that was pleasant and he has the afternoon free, so he could go to visit Darcy, Karl is mixing another drink but not keen on visiting Darcy. Alternatively he could as he kisses Susan then asks which side of the bed yours or mine, Susan says Ellie might come home. Karl says remember the fun we used to have when we had the place to ourselves before both agreeing to see Darcy and to talk about Ellie, he says that she was good at lunch because she was flirting so much with Tad, but Tad did not look that comfortable as she is very young. Susan says Tad can look after himself and will he talk to Darcy about taking her on at the surgery but Karl also wants Darcy to take more care of Ellie, Susan is against the idea.

The street
Matt says he tried but Evan is convinced the only reason Leo wants to go to to Adelaide is to party with his mates, Leo says he knows he cannot go. Matt finds out someone has stolen his car radio which he is annoyed with.

No 28
Karl and Susan are going to see Darcy Ellie says to say hi and ask about her work experience they will, they leave as Tad arrives.

Ellie offers her a coffee, he wants to talk, he likes her as a friend but there cannot be anything else between them as there is too much of an age gap. Ellie says to stop pretending, but Tad just wants to be friends but she does not believe that is all he wants.

Leo and Matt walk in to say that Matts car has been broken into, Evan says to claim it off insurance but Matt did not have insurance as he could not pay the bill. Evan has opened a letter for M Hancock so he thought it was for Maggie but it is a bill for Matt, he has to pay for his car soon or it will be repossessed.

Toadie gets the door, its Maggie she wants to know why he wants to leave and she wants to know as she will lose his job, Toadie says it is personal. She wants to know if it is her, he asks how, she thought they made a good team and he was happy. Toadie is happy, but he will not say, Maggie wants a reason and thinks she has done something to upset him. Toadie explains she likes him too much, she says you mean!? He says yeah and you are married and I shouldn't feel this way so I am so sorry.
