Recap
- Michelle telling Jo it was her that defaced his poster
- Matt telling Evan he is moving into Number 30
Number 30
Seems Matt has woken Toadie up. He has great news; he tells Toadie that he is looking at his new housemate. Toadie isn't too impressed at the early morning wake up call though. Matt apologises and asks Toadie to think about him moving in.
Number 28
Drew comes around after finding Libby's note. She spent the night at the Kennedys as she had trouble getting Ben to sleep and Susan suggested she stayed. Drew is exhausted after his stint as a Bouncer. He asks where Ben is; he is in with Susan. Libby is tired so she tells Drew she is going to have a sleep. Drew is curious as to why she won't come home with him; she tells him its hard sleeping at theirs when he isn't there. They both fall asleep on the sofa with Dahl looking on.
Number 30
Matt is still trying to convince Toadie that he would be the ideal housemate. Toadie is more interested in why Matt wants to leave home. It seems Matt has no privacy and it's too noisy for him!! After further begging Toadie relents and allows him to move in.
Number 26
Michelle and Jo are amazed at the lovely breakfast that had been laid out; they guess it must have been Lyn. Michelle is showing Joe Evan's campaign leaflet. It doesn't take long until they are arguing over conservation issues. Lyn comes through with some flowers to brighten up the table. Michelle leaves to get ready. Joe asks Lyn if it was her or the pixies that prepared the lovely breakfast. Seems it was Lyn; the pixies were all booked up! Lyn tells Joe she is off for a walk. Before she goes she tells him the reason for the breakfast is on the table. Joe opens an envelope to find an anniversary card!
The Coffee Shop
Evan is warning Dee about her new lodger and all his faults; however it seems Dee knows nothing about a new lodger! Dee quickly leaves the coffee shop; she is off to have a few words with Toadie! Lyn has come in to order a latté, she overhears Dee's words and tells Evan she might just go home and do the same thing - watch out Joe!!
Number 28
Libby is asking Drew how one little baby can cause so much havoc and if she stinks! Libby feels that she smells of baby sick. Drew can't smell it, but he says that is because he probably smells of it too. Libby asks Drew about work last night. Seems there were lots of gorgeous girls; however he prefers his Mrs Natural. He gives them the affectionate name of 'Mr and Mrs Baby Sick'.
Number 30
Dee is discussing Matt moving in. Seems Toadie thought it made sense. Dee however thinks it is a bad idea as his family live next door; she thinks they will be besieged with them all visiting. Toadie has a change of heart as soon as Dee mentions Maggie visiting. Right on cue Matt comes in; Toadie gives him the bad news that he can't move in.
Number 30
Matt is not happy, he is blaming Dee but Toadie says it was him who changed his mind. Matt tries his best to get a reason out of them. Dee tells him that he has a perfectly good home next door, seems he wants to leave it though! Dee mentions her little chat with Evan earlier oops! This sets Matt off to go find his Dad. Watch out Evan!!!
Number 26
Joe is reading the paper when Lyn walks in. Joe desperately tries to grovel for forgetting their anniversary; he even did the dishes! Lyn agrees that Joe can take her to the coffee shop for lunch. It also appears that there has been a mix up with the newspaper; they have got Joe's and Evan's manifesto's mixed up.
The Coffee Shop
Evan, Leo and Emily are eating when Matt walks in. Matt confronts Evan and asks him why he spoke to Dee about number 30. Evan denies that he said anything bad to Dee. Emily wants to know why Matt wants to leave "Don't you like us!" Leo explains to her it happens when you get older, and it's so he can bring girls home. Evan tries to explain again to Matt that he didn't say anything bad. Matt leaves.
Number 30
Dee and Libby are cooing over Ben. They are discussing who he looks like. Dee asks Libby how Drew's job is going. It seems he is enjoying it, but Libby isn't. Libby isn't happy with the hours and the clientele! Dee tells her not to worry. Libby just feels it would be nice to be able to get dressed up and go out every now and then.
DEE: To me you seem very happy and content.
LIBBY: Don't ever mistake exhaustion for contentment.
DEE: You are happy aren't you?
LIBBY: Yeah, yeah.
DEE: And I'm jealous as hell you realise!
The Pub
Joe and Lyn are having lunch. Jo is telling Lyn that the newspaper will have to change the article about the election. Lyn changes the subject and asks Joe how his steak is. Again Joe changes the subject back to the newspaper article; he thinks he deserves an apology! Lyn gets annoyed and tells him if he keeps talking about it then she is going home. Joe agrees and goes to get some more wine. Matt walks in and Joe asks him if Evan has seen the paper! Lyn gets up and goes to get the wine herself! Matt walks over to Toadie to ask if he can get Dee to change her mind about the room. Toadie doesn't like his chances.
Ramsay Street
Joe and Lyn meet Evan, Leo and Emily in the street. Once again Joe asks about the newspaper article! Evan tells Joe they are going to reprint the article and that no harm has been done. Joe disagrees. Cue Michelle who comes along. It seems she is delivering leaflets for Evan; she is supporting him. Joe is not happy; he tries to get Lyn to tell Michelle to go home. Lyn tells him it's up to Michelle who she supports. Joe tells Michelle not to bother coming home for dinner!!
Nightclub
Drew is escorting some customers off the premises. Drew's boss; who happens to be female gives him some advice on handling customers. She also agrees to bring him out some food in about an hour. As always Stuart just happens to have witnessed the encounter. He calls Drew a chick magnet; it's the T-Shirt apparently!! Drew finds this amusing.
Number 30
Dee, Toadie and Matt are eating. Matt is looking at Dee with those puppy dog eyes. It seems Matt cooked the dinner; and in fact he says he can cook for them all the time - another subtle hint there then! Dee relents and offers him the room on a two month trial period. However it seems Toadie is not happy now!! Dee should have consulted him again; he has since changed his mind!!
Nightclub
A girl collapses at the club. Drew's boss tells him to search her bag to find out who she is. Drew finds some prescription drugs in her bag. It seems they have been prescribed by none other than Dr Darcy Tyler.
