Recap
Drew discussing his Bouncer job with the Kennedys
Steph answering Marc's phone.
Outside
Steph and Marc have met to swap phones. He jokes that he doesn't even see his mother this often. Steph congratulates him on his up coming wedding. He explains it is his brother who is getting married and she obviously got the caller's message wrong on the phone. Steph leaves but Marc can't resist calling her on her phone. He asks her to join him for a drink. Steph apologises and says the phone is breaking up; she walks off.
Ramsay Street
Michelle is arguing with Joe about his election poster.
The Coffee Shop
Drew is discussing his bouncer job with Harold. Stuart is asking Matt if Flick is around. Matt tells him she has gone to Uni and could be away for a few weeks. Evan walks in and Matt begs him to lend him some money; seems there is a sale on car parts.
The Scullys
Michelle and Steph are preparing dinner. Joe asks if anyone has heard from Flick. Michelle suddenly remembers that she did ring. Seems she tried to ring Steph's mobile earlier, but a 'bloke' answered! Steph explains the phone mix up. Michelle's suggests that she should meet up with Marc, but Steph disagrees and says it's not good to encourage stalkers. Joe joins in the conversation.
The Pub
Genevieve drops in to see Matt; seems she was in the neighbourhood. He tells her he is busy and offers her some house wine. Evan comes in and comments how nice it is to see the two of them spending some time together. Matt asks Evan if he has considered the loan to do up his car. Genevieve suggests he trade it in as she knows someone who has a car yard. Matt doesn't seem to keen on the idea and walks off.
Steph's work
Steph and Marc bump into each other yet again! (How many times is that now)? Steph is curious as to how he knew she worked there. He jokes that he has spies; but really he is there on business. Once again he tries to start a conversation, but Steph tells him to leave her alone. She gets in the van and drives off. Gee she is playing hard to get!
Ramsay Street.
Matt is working on his car. Evan comes out to discuss the loan. He gets distracted and notices that someone has defaced Joe's election poster (someone has drawn glasses on it). Joe tears down the poster and gets into his car. Evan continues his chat with Matt; he tells him he will encourage him in anything he decides to do - especially uni. Evan just doesn't want him to waste all his time on the car. Joe drives past and encourages Matt to keep working on the car. Seems it could be a classic with a bit of work!
Coffee Shop
Matt and Leo are discussing the problems with their dad. Leo asks him what he is going to do; he isn't sure. Evan and Genevieve come in and sit together.
No 24
Joe has come around to see Harold about the election. It seems Harold hasn't had time to think about it- God job Joe has brought him a pamphlet with all his policies then! Joe can tell Harold is distracted; he asks him what is up. Harold explains his problems with Tad and that they are hardly speaking. Joe jokes that he is having problems with Michelle too. Harold feels he may have been selfish in encouraging Tad to stay, he feels he did it so he wouldn't be on his own.
Coffee Shop
Matt comes in and tells Evan he needs to speak to him. Evan suggests later as he is talking to Genevieve at the moment; it seems that is the problem Matt has. Matt tells Evan that he can't just sit back and let him get sucked into her games. Evan tries defending her by saying that she needs advice. Matt points out that she was never there for them, and it's all too little too late. Matt storms out.
Scullys
Steph is asking Joe what he is doing. It seems he is looking for a new picture for his campaign sign; he feels the other one makes him look 'shifty'. He tells Steph that he is doing it for everyone and that new developments in the area will be a good thing. Joe thanks Steph for her support.
Coffee Shop
Evan is still talking to Genevieve. She asks him what Matt was saying; he says nothing. Genevieve tells Evan that Matt hates her. Evan tells her he needs time and he needs to find the relationship for himself. Genevieve breaks down and says she doesn't want to be some old hag who is hated by her kids. Evan assures her that they can work it out.
The Garage
Steph comes into the garage and asks Drew what he is doing; he is going through some stuff for his bouncer's job. Stuart tells him to show her his T-Shirt. It seems he gets to wear a lovely tight black shirt with the word 'Security' on it. Both Steph and Stuart tease him into trying it on. He tells Steph to turn her back while he strips, but she catches him half naked (well top half) in the mirror, lovely view too!! Steph becomes very flustered so starts looking through his work box to see what else is in there.
Much to Steph's shock, Marc walks into the garage. Steph quickly says that Drew is her bodyguard, and proceeds to tell Drew that 'This turkey' has been stalking her all week. Marc introduces himself to Drew. It seems he is working at Lassiters and is introducing himself to the local businesses and may be able to throw some work Drew's way. Steph still doesn't believe him and is shocked when he hands over his business card. Drew suggests she owes Marc an apology.
Scullys
Steph is telling Michelle about the latest encounter with Marc; she is laughing about it though. She is concerned about the 'next' time she sees him though. Michelle tells her there is probably no chance of that, considering she has more or less accused him of stalking her. Steph says she may bump into him. Michelle laughs and says he will start accusing her of stalking him.
Joe comes in a bad mood; it seems someone has defaced his campaign poster again. Steph tells him the goatee looks cute (she doesn't mention the horns). She makes a quick exit to the pub. Joe tells Michelle that he is going to call the police and let them question the neighbours - starting with Evan Hancock. Michelle confesses and says it was her. Joe looks shocked.
The Pub
Matt is asking Steph how she gets on living at home. Matt tells her about the problems he is having with his dad. It seems he has to serve a customer, and by some weird coincidence Steph spots Marc sitting at a table. Steph goes over, Marc asks her if she wants a drink; she says yes.
MARC: Does this mean it's OK to talk to you now?
STEPH: Ah, a few words occasionally maybe!
Nightclub
Drew is settling into his job when a girl comes over. It seems her and her friends have to try and give their phone number to any new bouncer. Drew tells her he is married. She persuades him to take her number so the girls won't call her a loser. She puts it in his pocket.
Stuart comes in, seems he spotted Drew chatting to the girls. Stuart tells him to watch himself.
The Pub
Marc and Steph are chatting. Steph is telling him she hates suits. Marc says it's what he has to wear for work. She jokes that all he wears is suits and pyjamas. Marc tells her he never wears pyjamas. Marc has to leave; he is on the morning shift. Steph asks if he was kidding about them going out for a drink. Seems it is his turn to get his own back, he teases her and leaves without giving her an answer.
Ramsay Street
Evan finds Matt asleep in the car. He isn't happy that he stayed out, as he was worried about him. Matt tells Evan that he is leaving home; he is going to live with Toadie and Dee. Only next door then!
