Joe is on the phone to the person who placed the advert arranging to meet up. Steph comes in and hears what's going on. She suggests that the three of them go now, but Joe has to go to his interview and Lou has to get John ready to go and see John Allen. Joe suggests calling the police, but Steph points out that they don't have any proof.
The Pub

Drew comes in and consoles Lou. Lou thinks that Drew will be a top dad. Drew asks what Lou will do if the court decides against him. Lou says it won't happen. In the meantime he has to worry about getting Harvey and Bob back!
Scullys
Joe is heading off to his interview. Steph has enlisted Joel's help to get the dogs back, and Lou is coming along as well. Joe is wary but Joel says he'll look after Steph. Joe tells Steph she'd better look after Joel(!)
House of the Dog-nappers
Steph, Joel and Lou have arrived. They can hear many barking dogs. The man answers the door and looks at them suspiciously. They say they've come to look at the dogs, but he shuts the door in their face.
JOEL: Going well so far(!)
Coffee Shop
Leo asks Paul if he's entering the fun run. He starts talking to Paul about football, but he resists Leo's attempts to latch on to him. He heads off to put some posters up.
Leo sits down at a table with Maggie and Emily. He says he doesn't want to play cricket this afternoon, but Maggie thinks it would be an opportunity to make new friends.
House of the Dog-nappers
Steph, Joel and Lou are weighing up their options. Lou tells them he's got a plan and they huddle up to discuss it.
The Pub
Darcy comes in and talks to Drew. Darcy tells Drew it's none of his business if Darcy is dating or not. Anyway, he's not dating, he's interviewing for a nurse to work at the surgery since he's so busy. Karl doesn't know yet though - they are having a communication problem.
House of the Dog-nappers
Lou causes a distraction by knocking the front door while Joel and Steph go round the back. While Lou keeps the dog-napper talking, Joel passes Bob over the fence to Steph, followed by Harvey. They put the dogs in the car. Lou makes his excuses and leaves. Then he calls the police on his mobile!
Coffee Shop
Maggie has forgotten to put her special consideration form in with her exam - she'll fail without it. Leo sees a cartoon with Susan punching Evan out and gasps.
Scullys
Steph, Joel and Lou have brought Harvey home and Joe is very pleased. Joel goes to take Bob back to No.30.
Joe says the interview went quite well, and thanks Lou for all his help recently.
The Pub
Lolly has tripped in the car park and John hasn't been able to console her. He's had to bring her home to Lou. Lou says it just needs a bit of experience. He stamps Lolly's hand with one of his business stamps and she instantly cheers up. Lolly is excited that The Wiggles are coming next week. John goes off rather dejectedly as Lolly clings to Lou.
Coffee Shop
Maggie is on the phone talking to someone about her special consideration form. But the signal dies before she can get the person's name. Apparently she can drop the form in tomorrow though. Maggie tells Leo that he should make some new friends. Leo says that what he really wants is to move schools.
Scullys
Joe is fussing over Harvey while Steph is totally engrossed in a letter. Steph tells Joe that the letter is really weird. It says that once the money the person has been sending her reaches the full amount, everything will make sense. Steph says that things are getting way beyond a joke now.
The Pub
Drew comes in with a form for Lou to sign. Lou tells Drew that Lolly and John didn't get on very well today - he thinks the party might be over. He's more hopeful about getting full custody of her now.
Bishops
Joel brings some CDs round for Tad. He tells Paul that they got Bob and Harvey back. Paul asks Joel if he should keep coaching the kids - it seems like a bit of a dead end. Joel says it isn't a dead end if he enjoys it. But he does understand that feeling of "what next". Joel invites Paul out to come for a jog with him.
The Pub
Joe tells Lou that he's got the lorry-driving job and has come to buy Lou a celebratory drink. Lou tells Joe and Drew that his court case has been brought forward to next week. Lou doesn't mind though - the sooner the better.
Coffee Shop
Joel and Paul have finished their jog. Paul asks Joel if he still thinks about Flick, but Joel says they did the right thing in splitting up. Paul asks Joel if he likes Dee. Joel says they're just friends. Paul persists in asking him about his feelings, but Joel says they'd better get back to jogging!
Steph comes in saying she's looking for Toadie. Joel says that he's cooking dinner for Dee tonight, much to Steph's confusion!
No.30
Joel and Paul have arrived back. Joel encourages Paul with his football - he could go in through the minor leagues. Joel tells Paul about Vernon Wells, who he hopes will be part of the Great Samuels Future!
The Pub
John Allen comes in to ask Lou if he's heard about the court case being brought forward. John says they can get round it if they both request extra time. Lou says he's not requesting extra time, it'll be better for Lolly to get things sorted as quickly as possible.
LOU: I'll see you in court next week.
