Paul and Flick are listening respectfully to Tad as he talks about Rachel. He says he said a lot of horrible things to her that he didn't mean. Paul says there was good stuff too, like when she brought the birthday cake for him.
TAD: You think you've got so much time, but you don't. If I'd have known it was going to be so short, I would not have dumped on her the way I did.
Flick asks Paul when his own mother died and Paul says four years ago. Tad says that he and Paul have had a lot happen to them - adoption, fostering, divorce etc.

LANCE: G'day Allana it's Lance here, I'm just calling to 'spread the word' that I'm ready for my next task. So why don't you give me a call because I'm on a roll and I'm rolling right to your door.
Joel and Toadie look at Lance in disgust.
Toadie is sick of the leaflet dropping and reminds Lance that he promised to do a week. Toadie says delivering leaflets is demeaning to his future career as a lawyer!
LANCE: (suddenly) Spread the word.
ALLANA: What?
LANCE: Spread the word. That's what you're doing with these leaflets aren't you, spreading the word. No, work with me here. These leaflets are spreading THE word. (runs off to his room)
TOADIE: This house is getting weirder by the minute.
JOEL: You're telling me.
