Recap
Libby telling her parents that she is going to get a second opinion from a doctor she likes instead of the one she currently has.
Dione telling Joel that it is over.
No. 30
Toadie and Lance arrive home just as there is an awkward silence between Joel and Dione and she decides to leave and they wonder what Joel's done. Joel tells them about what he did and tells him that he is a rat for what he did as Dione is very sensitive about her paintings, he publicly embarrassed her and overall that it was childish before walking out of the living room.
Erinsborough News
Libby shows Geoff some of the things she is researching on alternative medicines and he is impressed, especially when Libby tells him how much she is benefiting from it. Lib gets a bit embarrassed when he starts complimenting her on how she looking and how good her work is.
No. 30
Toadie and Lance are still giving Joel a hard time as they have their supper and he tells them to get off his back.
Lou's Place
Karl and Susan talk about how much Libby is looking forward to getting a better diagnosis from her new doctor even though Karl doesn't think she'll get one. Drew comes over and once the pleasantries are over with, he tells them about the invitation to go home to work with his father in the family business. Susan asks if he is going to go but before he can fully answer, Geoff comes by after buying his wine and chats about the article Karl helped Libby with the other day. He then starts gushing about what a good journalist Libby is and Drew looks like he wants to be elsewhere.
No. 32
Dione and Libby join Tess for some drinkies and gossip but most importantly the fact that they aren't attached!
No. 30
Whilst the ladies are partying, Joel sits despondently in front of the TV.
No. 32
Back to the party, Libby and Dione thank Tess for the meal she cooked when a mobile starts ringing...its Joel calling Dione but she cancels the call.
The night is wearing on and Libby wants to call it a day as she has the hospital the next day and Dione wants to leave too...so Tess turns on the music and they all start dancing...badly!
No. 30
Joel has got some company now (Toadie and Lance) but they rib him for Dione hanging up on him and they wallow in the fact that they are all single whilst listening to the noise of the girls from No. 32. Joel wants to go and confront her but Toadie talks him out of it so they can have their own party!
Ramsay Street
Drew, Karl and Susan walk home from the pub and can't fail to hear the noise coming out of No. 30 and 32 respectively. Karl as usual moans and goes to have a word with the boys whilst Susan wants to go into No. 32 because it sounds like they are having a good time! Drew however decides to go home but not before looking wistfully at No. 32 and wondering.
No. 32/No. 30
Tess and Dione are trying to get Libby to join in the cat's choir for a sing-a-long when Susan arrives.
Over at No. 30, Karl joins the party of misery as the three stooges sit wallowing in self-pity and virtual silence listening to the music.
Back in party land, Susan joins in on the fun after talking to Libby about her forthcoming appointment.
Whilst in glumsvile after the false laughter has worn off, Joel thankfully turns the music off and Karl bails to leave Toadie and Lance to go to their beds!
No. 28 (next day)
Susan is telling Karl what a great night she (and Libby) had unlike him. Susan wonders if she should go with Libby to the appointment when Libby surfaces. Libby eventually agrees to let Susan tag along and they agree a meeting point.
No. 32
Dione thanks Tess for the great night and letting her crash there too. Tess wonders what else they can do and Dione suggests go-karting!
Erinsborough News
Geoff gives Libby some info he got off the net on alternatives remedies for the article she is working on and to ask her out for a date. Unfortunately before she can give him an answer, Susan arrives to take her to the hospital.
No. 30
Joel is still wallowing in self-pity eating the last of the food Dione brought round when Lance suggests that he should get back with Dione. Joel replies that there are plenty more fish in the sea, which Lance and Toadie scoff at given the lack of romance in their lives. They egg him on to make phone her and remove the food too to hasten the call.
Outside Erinsborough News
Susan drops a slightly disappointed Libby off after her appointment where things have obviously not gone as Libby would have wished for. Susan tells Libby it is time she sorted out her private life now ie. Drew, which she agrees to do.
The Coffee Shop
Dione is still wanting to go go-karting but it brings back bad memories for Tess so they decide on an alternative instead - horse riding even if they are a bit rusty at it.
Susan brings Karl up to speed about what happened at Libby's appointment and wonder what the future brings for her. She also mentions about telling Libby subtly to sort out her private life and comments that Libby didn't bite her head off either about it and wonders if Libby will give Drew another chance.
Erinsborough News
After initially sitting in quiet contemplation, Libby starts to clear up her desk. Geoff asks if she has thought about his offer of dinner and she turns him down but after seeing a photo of Drew in her desk when she is tidying things away, asks Geoff when can he pick her up.
