Recap
Harold tells Lou that he wishes he could remember everything from his time in Tasmania.
Joel tells his father that things aren't right between them.
No.30
Joel tells his father (Bernie) that he hasn't acted like his father since he's been in Erinsborough, he just fits Joel in between meeting his mates and going to meetings. Joel is also cross that Bernie lied to his mother about attending the awards ceremony. Bernie tells him to grow up - he's a grown man now. Joel says that doesn't stop Bernie being a Dad. Bernie rubbishes Joel's feelings and then goes out.
Coffee Shop
Cassandra tells Harold that he's being watched by a woman at a table in the corner. She teases him that she might find Harold devilishly attractive(!)
No.30
Joel is telling Dione that he and Bernie can't open up to each other without fighting. Joel says maybe Bernie is right about him being immature.
They go on to chat about Libby and Tess and then Toadie comes in. Apparently Lance's plane has been delayed.
Scullys
Tad, Paul and Flick are talking about BMX - Paul fell off on a jump and tore his jumper. He asks Flick to mend it for him. She is appalled that they would just assume that she can sew, so she tells Tad to do it instead. He sits down to get started(!)
The Coffee Shop
Lou tells Harold that he's got a deal for him - he wants Harold to tell them in the Coffee Shop! Harold isn't keen, but Lou says he could make them part of a meal deal(!) Harold sends him packing.
Outside Lassiters
The woman who was watching Harold in the Coffee Shop earlier is watching him again - as Harold crosses the Lassiter's complex, she follows him.
No.30
Joel is trying to get hold of his father, but it seems he has checked out of his hotel. He thinks Bernie has probably gone back to Tasmania. Joel says he was probably expecting too much from his father. Dione tells him not to beat himself up. Joel is clearly upset.
Scullys
Tad is sewing Paul's jumper. Flick answers the phone to Sean - he wants his mobile phone back. Flick is frosty to him. Tad jams the jumper in the machine, breaking it. Tad suggests that they swap Lyn's machine with Madge's while they get it repaired.
The Pub
Lance comes in, back from his trip to Darwin. He tells them he's bought something amazing - a digeridoo! They fill Lance in on Libby and Steph's conditions. Steph comes in on crutches at that moment and Lance hugs her. Lance invites Steph out for a "Welcome Home Lance" dinner. Steph suggests the pub.
Bishops
Flick, Paul and Tad are swapping the sewing machines. They hide Madge's machine when Harold comes in with some shopping. Tad creates a diversion while Paul and Flick sneak the sewing machine out.
The woman who's been watching Harold comes to the door.
WOMAN: Hello, Alfie! You've put on a bit of weight.
She tells him that he couldn't disappear from her - now she wants her money.
Madge tells the woman that Harold isn't Alfie - but the woman isn't having any of it, she wants her money.
Scullys
Paul, Flick and Tad are wondering how to get the machine fixed. A woman comes to the door to pick up Sean's mobile. She takes it and goes.
Bishops
Madge is trying to reason with the woman - Harold is not the man in the photofit in the paper. Madge goes to call the police. The woman gets very jumpy and storms out, telling Harold that she hasn't seen the last of her.
The Pub
Lance and Steph are having drinks. He tells Steph he's been very worried about her and Libby both. Steph still feels bad about the accident, but Lance says that life is full of what-ifs - she must stop beating herself up. Steph says Lance is always so reassuring.
No.30
Bernie comes round and tells Joel he's on the way to the airport. Joel reluctantly invites him in.
Bishops
Madge says that there's someone called Alfie out there who is the real suspect for the armed robbery.
Lou comes round to talk about octopuses and Madge tells him to cut his losses. He says he's got a plan to sew a missing leg on each one. All he needs is someone with a sewing machine. Madge says if he comes over tomorrow she'll give him tuition(!)
No.30
Joel is frosty with his Dad, but Bernie admits that Joel had a point in what he said earlier that afternoon. He says he's never really grown up himself, so it's hard to have people relying on you. Joel says he should accept his Dad for who he is. They agree to try to get along in the future and part on good terms.
The Pub
Lance gives Steph a present - it's a necklace. Steph is takenaback by the extravagance of the gift and says she can't accept it, it's too much. She doesn't want to give Lance the wrong impression.
