Harold tells Tad that he doesn't know what's going on with him and he doesn't particularly care, but right now he needs his space. Tad and Paul bump into Felicity outside and Tad suggests they all hit the town. Felicity tells them to give her half an hour.
Tad and Felicity get back the next morning having missed the last bus. They sneak back to their respective houses and manage to get away with it. Tad apologises to Harold for last night, Harold says that all he's asking for is a bit more co-operation. He tells Tad that his mother called, but Tad doesn't seem seem to care. Paul doesn't want to talk to Tad about what he got up to with Felicity last night. Harold leaves them both a list of chores to do but Tad just wants to sleep, Paul tries to snap him out of it and they end up arguing and eventually wrestling on the couch... just as Felicity walks in to see Tad about a video.
Joe has someone in looking at the kitchen in No.26 - although it's a bit of a mess, it's looking surprisingly well considering there were flames pouring out of the roof of the house during the fire! Michelle tries to convince her Mum to buy her a guitar. Lyn says they can't afford it so she'll have to wait a while. Michelle asks if she's still mad at her because of the fire - Lyn tells her not to be silly and reassures her that it was just a mistake. Lyn talks to Joe later and tells him that Michelle thinks they hate her. Joe says they'll keep telling her they don't, she should never have been left alone with Louise in the first place. Lyn says they've been through that and they need to make friends in the street, not enemies - especially with what they've got planned... hmmm what could that be? All we know is that it relates to all the surveying they've had carried out. Surely not another 'we-own-a-piece-of-your-land-and-we-want-it-back' story?!
Harold tells Karl that he could make a real contribution to the cricket team - even though he last played when he was 14. Karl tries to tell him that they've got enough people, but Joe comes into the Coffee Shop and overhears - he tells Harold that they could always do with new people and that he expects to see him at training. That puts Karl's back up! Joe talks to Karl about coaching the team and says he's going to put himself forward. Karl doesn't seem too enthusiastic about supporting him.
Joel and Toadie are covered in flea bites and are smothering themselves in lotion. Paul goes to see Toadie and tells him that he's worried about Tad because he's acting so strangely. Toadfish says he thinks he's exaggerating a bit but he'll have a chat to him. He meets Tad in the Coffee Shop and asks him what's going on, but Tad manages to convince him that Paul's just jealous because he's getting on so well with Felicity.
The cricket team meet up in the pub and Karl gives them a speech about how they should pay a professional coach to bring the team up to speed. Joe tells them how experienced he is and offers his services as coach, for free. They have to vote on it - either hire a professional or go with Joe. They do a show of hands and the result is even, with only Harold missing. When he arrives they tell him he has the deciding vote. Karl tries to talk him into voting for him but Harold ultimately goes with Joe... Karl ties his best not to show his disappointment. Joe visits him at home later and asks him to be assistant coach - Karl laughs the idea off at first, but Joe says they'd make a good team. Karl eventually caves in and agrees, they shake on it.
Joel and Toadie set off a self-releasing toxic spray to kill off all the fleas but once they've left the house they realise that Bob is still inside! Joel is about to take a deep breath and go inside but as soon as they open the door, Bob comes running out anyway! They head off to practise some cricket. Toadie catches up with Paul outside and asks him what the idea of him saying he's worried about Tad is when he's just worried about him getting close to Felicity. Paul tells him that he genuinely is worried about Tad, he's acting like a loser and it seems like he's got something going on that he's not telling anyone about. Toadie tells him that the best solution is probably to stick it out and be a mate. Paul says he's trying.
Harold tells Tad and Paul that he's decided to head up to Queensland for a few days and he'll be leaving them on their own. Tad tells him they'll be models of responsibility. When Harold goes to ring Madge, Paul asks Tad how he sleeps at night. Tad tells him that all Harold and Madge care about is their family, which doesn't include either of them. Paul says that he's not the only kid in the world whose parents have split up, he's just got to get over it.
With Harold out of the picture, Tad tells Paul they're going to party like there's no tomorrow. Paul does not seem too enthralled by the prospect.
