HANNAH: Jealousy is a curse you know.
PAUL: So is boring people to death.
HANNAH: I've hardly said anything about him.
PAUL: You haven't shut up since I got here.
HANNAH: Fine, I'll try and think of something intellectual to say.
PAUL: Shut up.
HANNAH: Fine.
Paul tells Hannah that they have a Maths test today. Hannah thought it was tomorrow.
HANNAH: What am I going to do?
PAUL: Panic?
HANNAH: I'm way ahead of you.
Number 28
Toadie thinks Joel is out of his mind for dropping out of the sponsorship offer from Dominator. Libby thinks Toadie's only interested because of the free sports gear. Joel thinks there's nothing he can do about it, he only has one shot and he wants to make it his best shot. Toadie thinks Joel should play hard to get. Toadie thinks it's a great idea but Joel isn't sure.
JOEL: I'll be honest, honesty is the best policy.
TOADIE: Yeah right?
JOEL: I mean that.
TOADIE: What, you actually mean that?
LIBBY: Wow Joel, I think you've just introduced a whole new outlook on life to him.
Toadie compliments Libby on her boots. She's going horse riding for a few days with some mates from uni, but when he asks who she says it's none of his business.

Lou and Lolly arrive home from their holiday visiting Lauren. Lou sends her upstairs to check that all her toys are still there. Lou tells Drew to congratulate him. He's about to become the world's youngest, sexiest granddad. Lauren has just found out and the baby is due in 7 months. Lou thinks it's a shame that they can't be closer, Lolly loved visiting Lauren but Lauren is settled where she is. Lou says he might move back up north again.
DREW: What about your businesses?
LOU: Business is not family and it's a sad man who confuses the two.
Lou thinks he's worked hard all his life and he should be able to enjoy his achievements. But he says he's just thinking out loud. Lou asks Drew about the cut over his eye.
Erinsborough High School
Hannah tells Paul she's thinking of wagging English to study Maths in the library. Paul says it isn't until last period and he can help her study at lunchtime, but Hannah had planned to have lunch with Mark.
PAUL: Do it your way. You don't want something as silly as a Maths test getting in the way of your love life.
Hannah wonders where Mark is, he normally meets her at the gate but he wasn't there this morning, maybe he's sick. As Hannah goes to her class she wonders if she can sit with the Maths book open during English.
The Coffee Shop
Drew joins Sarah who is eating some chocolate cake, putting off going home as she has a lot of studying to do. Sarah notices the cut near Drew's eyes. Drew says someone punched him.
DREW: I was sort of dating a girl called Sandy. I met Mr Sandy.
SARAH: She was married?
DREW: Slipped her mind apparently.
Drew says he would have backed off real quick if he knew she was married. From Sarah's reaction, he realises he might have put his foot in it with her but she says it's alright, she's not offended. He asks if everything is alright with Karl. Sarah says it's alright, but she's surprised Drew is still speaking to her, she thought Libby would put him off. Drew says he doesn't want to take sides. After Sarah goes home to study, Drew kicks himself for what he said.

Number 30
Sarah is studying in the kitchen, when Toadie arrives and places his books on the table. Sarah tells him to go away, but he needs to study too. She complains that he causes a lot of distractions and then after five minutes will want to go and make jaffles or something.
TOADIE: Well you just study for like half an hour and then remember you have to like paint your hair or brush your nails or whatever you do.
SARAH: I do not and don't you stereotype me!
TOADIE: You want a bet?
SARAH: That sounds like a challenge.
TOADIE: I bet you that I can remain focused on study longer than what you can.
If Sarah wins, Toadie will do the housecleaning for a week. Sarah and Toadie shake on it.
The Coffee Shop
Libby finds Drew, asking him to look at her scooter. She tells her about her trip to Carrington Bend to go horse riding. Her mum insists she take her car as she says it would be far too dangerous on the scooter, but Libby disagrees. Drew tells Libby about Lou's plan to move to Queensland. Libby thinks it's logical but it's unexpected. She wonders what he'll do with the pub.
Number 30
Sarah stops Toadie from taking one of her snacks, telling him to get one of his own. Toadie brings out a pack of biscuits and noisily enjoys eating them. The phone rings and neither of them answers it. They stare at each other as they listen to their answer machine message.
TOADIE (VO): Hi, lucky you, you've just reached the happy little home of Jarrod Rebecchi.
SARAH (VO): And more importantly Sarah Beaumont.
TOADIE (VO): Excuse me! More importantly?
SARAH (VO): Shut up and get on with the message.
TOADIE (VO): We're not here.
SARAH (VO): We're not available, sorry.
TOADIE (VO): I'm probably doing something important and Sarah's slacking off somewhere.
SARAH (VO): Do you mind. Please leave a message and we'll get back to you.
TOADIE (VO): If we remember.
SARAH (VO): We will remember. Don't take any notice of him, please leave a message.

Sarah encourages Toadie to take a break, but Toadie says he has to study. Toadie insists he can't watch the game, but Sarah continues to taunt him. Just then Alex arrives and Toadie happily calls Alex in.

ALEX (in the other room): Yeah?
TOADIE & SARAH: SHUT UP!

LIBBY: Nothing stays secret around here for long.
LOU: That's for sure, I haven't even finished thinking about it.
Libby says Drew mentioned it to her, and she thinks it's a great idea.
LIBBY: Men shouldn't have to keep working in their twilight years.
LOU: Twilight years? Look I'll have you know, as far as I'm concerned I'm still in the early afternoon.
Libby hopes she gets to keep her job, Lou thinks that will be down to the new owners. Libby asks if he is serious as he walks away.
Erinsborough High School
Mrs Hicks tells Hannah that no excuse will be sufficient. Hannah admits she thought the test was tomorrow and she didn't want to fail. Mrs Hicks tells Hannah to wait for her outside the Principal's Office.
Number 30

TOADIE: He's like a landmark around here, if he stood still for five minutes someone would whack a brass plaque on him.
Drew invites them to go down to the pub and ask Lou if they want. Joel likes the idea as they could watch repeats of the game on the big screen. Sarah says she needs to study but tells them they can go. As the guys leave, she asks if they want to call it quits. The bet is off. They agree it is a draw. Toadie says she should come down to the pub as he won't put his pen down until she does. They drop their pens at the same time and go to the pub together.
Erinsborough High School
Hannah packs up her bag, while Paul arrives and asks how it went with Mrs Kennedy. They've written a note for Hannah to give to her dad. If she hands it to him she'll be in big trouble, but Paul tells her she can't not give it to him. Hannah moans, she failed the test and she didn't even get to see Mark today.
Lou's Place
Sarah says as Toadie gave in first he should buy her a drink. They join Drew, Joel, Alex and Phil at the bar. They ask Phil if he's heard the news about Lou going up north, Phil says it isn't their business and he's not at liberty to say anything about it. Libby says that Lou did hint about it to her. Lou arrives and Toadie asks him about his plans to move. Lou looks surprised that everyone has been talking about it.
Number 26
Hannah moans about her day, 24 hours ago she was on top of the world. Hannah can't get over how Mark didn't turn up. She thinks he probably heard what happened and thinks she's a complete loser. Paul asks Hannah what she'll do. Hannah plans to forge a note from her dad, but Paul thinks Susan will mention it to her dad when they're having coffee together. Hannah says he can't find out, he'll go ballistic.
PAUL: It doesn't matter what you do, your dad's going to find out.
PHIL (arriving): Find out what?
