Number 32
Lance and Amy are kissing on the sofa, when they're interrupted by Ben. Ben introduces them to Drew, the new mechanic at the garage. Drew says he's working on an old bomber ute which was just sitting there. Lance explains it's his and Anne's ute, it was a sixteenth birthday present and they were going to restore it but Ben hasn't let them near it. Ben says he's been too busy getting his own car up to racing level. Drew offers to give Lance a hand restoring it.
Country Pub
Darren and Libby wonder what the odds are of them bumping into each other in a small country town. Darren says his ute will be ready when he picks it up tomorrow morning. Libby tells Darren she was hurt when he left Erinsborough without saying goodbye. Darren says they had a dinner where they spent the whole night saying nothing but goodbye, but Libby says that was different. She would have wanted to wave him goodbye on the day. Darren apologises and thought dinner was the perfect way to end things. He offers to have dinner tonight, and she agrees.
Number 26
Paul and Hannah come in from searching for Axel, still no sign of him. Phil says he's probably found himself a hole and has curled up there for the night, but they should call it a night, it's too dark to look properly anyway.
Harold arrives, showing Phil the flowers that Holly has dug up from his garden. Holly is in his garden digging and tearing as they speak. Hannah apologises for leaving the gate open while they were looking for Axel, and leaves to get Holly. Harold sternly says that this business with the dog is wearing very thin with him.
Number 24 Front Garden (The following morning)
Harold finds Holly digging in his garden again and shoos her away, sneezing while he does. He sees Paul sitting sadly on the stairs. Paul has found Axel, and opens a box to show Harold. Harold tries to comfort Paul, but Paul doesn't want Harold to pretend he cared, Axel's dead now and won't bother Harold again. Paul tells Harold he hopes he's happy.
Number 26
Holly walks into the utility room, while Phil lectures Hannah about the responsibility of owning a dog. Hannah says Holly hates being locked up in the garden, she'll think they don't trust her. Phil says they don't at the moment, and Harold won't put up with any more damage to his garden. Hannah hears Holly whining and rushes into the utility room, where Holly is lying on the ground, sick. Phil thinks they should call the vet.
Country Garage
Darren tells Libby he hopes his car is ready, as with her here, if he doesn't leave now he never will. He speaks to the mechanic who gives him the bill and it is three times as much as he was expecting him to pay. Libby says it is ridiculous. Darren says he wants a breakdown of the parts and labour, otherwise he won't pay. The mechanic takes the key, telling them "no money, no ute."
Ramsay Street
Phil carries Holly into the boot, while Hannah tells Paul they're taking her to the vet. Before Hannah can get into the car, Phil tells Hannah he's sorry, there's nothing they can do. Hannah looks in the car boot at Holly lying there, and cries in Phil's arms. Phil says they should take Holly to the vet to find out what happened. Paul offers to stay with Hannah.
Number 32
Amy comes around and says hi to Lance and Ben. Lance is heading to the garage to work on the car. Amy wants to come along too and get some photos for her arts assignment, she's taking photos of the human body in action. Lance is flattered until Amy says she wants to get photos of Drew. She kisses Lance, happy they'll be spending the day together. They head to the garage.
Country Garage
Darren and Libby don't know what to do. He doesn't want to pay this guy, but he needs his ute. Libby has an idea.
Number 26
Phil tells Hannah that while they'll need to wait for the autopsy, it looks like Holly was poisoned. Hannah is shocked and wonders who would do something like this, but Phil says there's nothing to suggest it was deliberate. Paul wonders if Axel was poisoned too. Hannah and Paul work out that Axel was found at the Bishops, and that is where Holly was before she got sick. Phil thinks they're racing ahead of themselves and tells them it isn't fair to jump to conclusions. He'll speak to Harold and let the other residents of the street know too. Phil answers the phone, while Hannah and Paul talk about Harold having it in for both the pets. They wonder if he really could have killed them.
Garage
Amy looks at Lance and Drew through the camera, trying to get the right angle, while using it as an opportunity to look at Drew's behind. Amy asks Drew how he copes with the heat in here. Drew hasn't noticed, but Lance takes off his shirt and poses for Amy and she feels obliged to take a photo of him.
Country Garage
Libby approaches the mechanic and asks him if he stands by his bill. She says she wanted to make sure for her article for the Erinsborough News. She says she's doing an exposé on dodgy garage owners responsible for overcharging customers. She asks him to sign the bill so that she can run the story without legal action. The mechanic changes his story, and says the bill was only an estimate and notices a mistake. He goes to double check the bill and offers to get them a coffee. As he leaves, Darren tells Libby how impressed he is with her.
Number 24
Phil tells Harold about Holly dying, explaining that she was poisoned. Harold thinks it's awful. Phil says she ingested a substance which is used in snail bait. He's not pointing any fingers, but he's noticed Harold has a lot of snail bait pellets in his garden.
Garage
Lance and Drew are shirtless while Amy takes photos. Amy tells Lance to turn away as if he's working on the car. As he does this, he notices she's taking photos of Drew only. She says his skin is darker and Lance is too pale for the shots she needs.
Country Town
Darren is surprised that she didn't try to get her room at the pub for half price. She says she'll only use her powers for good. Libby wishes Darren could meet Grampa Tom, but Darren says he'll be wondering where she is. They look into each other's eyes, and Darren kisses Libby. He walks to his ute, while Libby gets on her bike. They look to each other before both driving off in different directions.
Number 32
Lance tells Ben about Amy only taking pictures of Drew, and how humiliating it was. She reckons Lance is too pale. Ben reckons that Drew's tan is fake, out of a bottle. Lance realises that Anne has fake tan for modelling assignments and rushes away to get some.
Number 26
Harold comes by to offer his condolences to Hannah. He says he feels dreadful, she wonders why. He says he feels sorry and has picked up all the responsible pellets. Hannah has no idea what he means. Harold reveals that the autopsy showed Holly had swallowed snail bait from his garden.
HANNAH: So you did kill her?
HAROLD: Not deliberately no.
HANNAH: Yes you did, you poisoned her!
HAROLD: No! How could you think that?
HANNAH: How could you be so negligent or stupid to leave poison lying around where animals can get to it? That's negligent and it's cruelty.
HAROLD: No Hannah, not cruelty.
HANNAH: You've always hated her haven't you? Well good, I'm happy for you, you won't have to worry about her digging up your precious garden anymore.
Hannah runs away in tears, while Harold is hurt.
Number 32
Ben is eating breakfast, when Lance comes in and sits next to him. Lance's skin is bright orange! Ben can't help but laugh, and asks Lance to look at himself. Lance is horrified when he sees himself in the mirror, as Ben laughs hysterically. Lance says he didn't use much fake tan, just a bottle. He checks and his whole body is orange. Lance says Amy will be around any minute to take some more photos, what will he do? Ben suggests he should tell her to use black and white film. Ben then tells Lance to relax and tells him to have some breakfast, throwing Lance an orange.
