She tells Rhonda angrily to get the hell out and not to mess with Marlene. Rhonda tells Marlene in a holier-than-thou manner that she's changed her life and Marlene has given her the chance at a job and a proper life. Bianca doesn't buy this and won't allow Marlene to reason with her. Marlene says they'll talk it out sensibly at home. Then they depart, for some inexplicable reason leaving Rhonda alone in the shop!
Helen and Garnet are having coffee. He is very confused about his father's condition, but Helen says maybe it wasn't an easy subject to bring up. Garnet says that Reuben has always been very formal and stiff upper lip with his children - they've never discussed emotional issues. Reuben comes in at that moment and asks Garnet why he's looking so solemn on his wedding day. Garnet tells Reuben that they have to talk...but on Helen's look he says it isn't anything seriously and can wait. As Garnet leaves, he and Helen shake hands with a lot of mutual respect.

But we all know it's Ambrosia cos Toadie ordered Billy a subscription for his birthday. Karl wants Billy to show him the magazine in case there are any tips for "Magic Carpet" (the game they're playing at the moment)! Obviously he refuses(!)
Cottage in the country
Lucy and Mark are just packing up to leave. They have to get home in time for the wedding. Lucy asks Mark if he'll bring her back some time, but he doesn't think it'd be a good idea. Lucy apologises to Mark for being so awful to him. She understands now how important the priest thing is to him - she used to feel the same about modelling until the booze and pills got in the way. Lucy doesn't know how she's going to get her life together. She seems to be genuine at last - no more games, she's going to try to beat her addictions. Mark gives her a friendly hug.
Garden of the Kennedys
Toadie and Billy are reading Ambrosia an hanging out beside the cubby house. In the magazine, they find a picture of Lucy Robinson naked!

Karl and Susan are playing the game together while Billy looks on. Karl asks Billy for the magazine again but luckily he is distracted by a vicar calling round. Apparently he's the vicar for Helen and Reuben's wedding. He's got the wrong place apparently. Susan stands up in shock and realises that she's not ready to go to the wedding! She runs off quickly to change, shouting at Karl and Billy to do the same.
Marlene runs in looking for Helen's wedding card and Rhonda gives it to her. Rhonda tells Marlene that Bianca is playing on her sympathies, that Bianca doesn't have a mum.
RHONDA: The only reason that she doesn't want me around here is that I can set you straight.
MARLENE: (darkly) What a load of rubbish.
Marlene says that after the wedding, she and Rhonda are going to have a big talk.
Susan, Karl and Billy are off to the wedding.

Annalise is helping Helen with her hair and makeup.
ANNALISE: You're gorgeous. He's a very lucky man.

REUBEN: She can take all the time she likes. She's worth waiting for.
Brett and Helen are getting ready to leave for the wedding. Helen is wearing a dodgy red hat to go with her red suit. Brett has got Helen a gift - it's a lovely bracelet. He tells Helen she's been so good to him and Helen replies that she treasures Brett's friendship. Aw.
Helen and Brett arrive at the wedding to the accompaniment of twinkly backing music. They walk down a red carpet to the assembled guests. Reuben kisses her hand as they turn to the minister.
REUBEN: Helen, I have been admiring your creativity, your elegant touch and your flare for the unexpected for a great many years, but always at a distance, through your work. And then a few months ago, I fell in love with the greatest masterpiece of them all, beautiful, intelligent, witty and above all, an original Daniels. Helen Daniels, Helen I pledge you my undying love, I pledge you my life. Already you've made me the happiest man in the world. Our life together has been nothing less than perfect.
HELEN: Having resigned myself to being alone, I was, needless to say, completely overwhelmed when you came into my life. I still can't believe it's true. Whatever did I do to deserve such unconditional love? To share such wonderful moments. However many years we have together, I shall treasure every single second. I love you, Reuben White. I shall always love you. And I praise the day that a simple mistake brought us together!
Reuben slides Helen's ring on to her finger as the minister pronounces them man and wife.
Billy plays the wedding march on his violin as Brett helps to release what I presume are doves, but look like pigeons!
