They ask to have a look inside but Lou talks them out of it, saying there's nothing in there but tools and junk. Andrew, suspicious, asks if they're sure about that. Doug says absolutely.
Gaby introduces Mark to Heidi Becker from the Health Department. Mark says he's as concerned as she is about the reports of food poisoning. She asks him to fill in a questionnaire about food hygiene and they'll test some of the leftovers. Mark is affronted and says he has very high hygiene standards. Mark thinks they must have been sold dodgy produce, and angrily says the suppliers should be getting the third degree instead of him. Gaby says Heidi will get their full cooperation. Mark leads her to the kitchen.
Brett arrives to find Rick looking down with his head in his hands, and assumes he has food poisoning too. Rick says he isn't, but tells Brett about breaking up with Sally. Brett laughs, as he thought Rick was crook. After Rick gives Brett an angry, Brett realises how that sounded, and clarifies that he's glad Rick isn't sick and he's sorry to hear about Sally. Mark thinks he's to blame for supplying meat that's past it's prime. Cheryl thinks Mark has been arguing with Bert for weeks, his opinion has probably been coloured by all the fighting. Cheryl thinks they should find out what Annalise has to say before they call Bert.
Heidi Becker tells Mark there are penalties for obstructing a department investigation. Gaby says she's spoken to Annalise, and she tried to warn him about the meat being off. Mark says he's been working with food longer than Annalise and he thought it was okay. Heidi says it wasn't. Mark tells them to ask Bert about it. Bert says Annalise told him that the meat smelled funny, he told her not to use it and called the manufacturer who said the whole batch was dodgy. He didn't call Annalise back because he needed to warn other customers first, as Annalise had already said she wasn't going to use it. Heidi tells Mark that he was highly negligent to ignore the warning. Mark is angry that none of them want to hear what he has to say, and tells them 'stuff the lot of you!'

Cheryl tells Pam that Brett is now getting his own back after she nursed him through measles, flu and chicken pox. Pam says she's just being a bad patient. Cheryl says it's very annoying being stuck here, she could strangle Mark Gottlieb.
CHERYL: Those theme nights could have been a major attraction. As it is, we'll probably only attract a few alcoholics to happy hour!

He's prepared to forget the whole thing; he offers to shake Mark's hand.
MARK: One unfortunate incident?! What about last week Bert, the beef was disgusting!
BERT: I don't know what your problem is.
MARK: My problem is your contaminated meat, how many people do you need to poison before you get the message?
BERT: Right, that's it! I told you I'd talk to my lawyer, now I'm doing it. I'll take you down Gottlieb! Count on it!
Gaby is getting more phone calls about the food poisoning. Kris arrives. He tells her that there's a photographic shoot, everyone's there except the 'Face of Lassiters.' Gaby picks up her phone to call Rick.
KRIS: There's no point in calling. I've already tried that and he told me to do something anatomically impossible.
Gaby asks if they can reschedule, but they've already paid for the photographer, art director and props. Gaby asks Kris to come with her to Rick's, it'll take the both of them to convince him to smile for the camera.
Rick is looking at photographs of Sally, wiping away a tear. Gaby knocks on the door, asking him to open up. Rick answers and asks if Gaby's seen Sally, he just wants to know how she is. Gaby says they're here about the photoshoot. He tells them to find someone else. Kris says it's too late for that, they'd have to redo everything. Kris says if they cancel he'd let a lot of people down. Gaby says she wouldn't be here now if she didn't think it was the right thing for him to do. She says if he really can't face it, they'll cancel everything. Rick sighs and agrees to go, just give him a minute.
