- Pam thinks that Gaby should prioritise the baby. Gaby tells her off for interfering.
- Lou is teaching Brett to drive and he reverses into the pavement.
- Rick and Mark see a pretty girl while out driving.
Brett is learning to drive. They both admire a female jogger and end up swerving(!)
Annalise has written a poem for him to give to Sally.
Just then, there's a request for Mark on the radio "from the lovely Katie". Mark says it must be some other Mart Gottlieb! Rick says maybe it was the girl they saw in the car, but Mark doesn't see how she'd know his name. Annalise gets very cross.
Pam and Cheryl are burning candles and listening to New Age music. Cheryl wonders if they could get away for a girls' weekend. Pam says there's a good magazine about weekend breaks and goes off to buy it.
Cheryl tells Pam that she has some good acts lined up for the talent show.
Phil is practising ballroom dancing with a Lassiter's sweatshirt on a coathanger(!) Pam arrives and sees this. Phil complains that he need more practise because he's rubbish at dancing.

Julie and Phil are practising their dancing. Julie tells him off for being rubbish. Phil says he'll find another act to do and they bicker.
Brett and Danni tells Cheryl that they don't see her much these days! Brett moans that Lou is a rubbish driving instructor.
When she's gone, Brett and Danni talk about avoiding the talent show. Cheryl comes back in and tells them she's expecting big things from them(!)
Mark comes in to find Annalise is writing a new poem for the talent quiz called "Lies"(!)
He never saw her before he said.
I get jealous, I need my head read.
But I know the difference between the truth and a lie
What I don't know is why he wants to kill our love dead.
Just then, another dedication "for Mark from Katie" comes on the radio! Annalise is furious and won't listen to Mark's protestations.
Cheryl and Pam are looking through the weekend break magazine. Cheryl suggests that Gaby comes along too. Pam isn't sure, as they haven't been getting on well lately, but says she'll ask her.
Lou complains to Cheryl that Brett has shunned his driving lessons. Cheryl referees the dispute and they finally head off for a lesson.
When they've gone, Cheryl asks Danni what she's got planned for the talent show. She isn't pleased that Danni has nothing planned!
Lou is trying to teach Brett to parallel park, but he isn't very good. Lou says they'll try again tomorrow and then goes back to the house.
Danni comes over and mocks Brett, then playfully sits in the driver's seat. But suddenly she has a flashback to her previous accident and starts to cry.
Danni is still very upset and Brett is comforting her. Danni doesn't think she'll ever be able to learn to drive herself.
Lou and Rick are sneaking around. Lou is determined to prank Cheryl by decorating the pub. They talk about Danni's reaction in the car.
Pub, the next morning
Cheryl comes in and find the pub decorated with streamers and balloons. She tells Lou and Rick that she loves it! Rick and Lou look confused.
Phil is planning a secret act and won't let Hannah tell Julie what it is (by putting his hand over her mouth!)
Annalise is editing her poem. She is still very upset with Mark over the "Katie" business.
Pub (Talent Show)
Cheryl is going for it on stage, singing and dancing away. For some reason, everyone claps appreciatively, and the "Clap- O- Meter" reaches maximum!
Julie does a dance routine - dancing with a dummy.
Hannah does a rhythmic gymnastics routine with a baton.
Rick does some juggling.
A randomer plays an accordion.
Phil juggles various fruit and vegetables, referring to one set as a "tossed salad"(!) Finally he juggles with eggs. His act goes down well, but Julie doesn't look pleased.
The high spirits are brought down a bit by Annalise's depressing poem.
He's running around with other girls
Never stopping to count the cost
Should I fight or should I run?
And let the love be lost.
The mood is brought back up by Brett pretending to be a ventriloquist with Danni as his "dummy"
Lou reads the results out and the winner is Phil! Everyone claps, but Julie doesn't look pleased.
A road, the following day
Mark is driving along when he sees "Katie" in her car. He goes to give chase, but as he reverses, he hits something.
