Outside the Martins (No.32)
Phil runs over Hannah's bike which she has left in the driveway. The wheel is bent.
Martins (No.32)
Phil brings the bike in and tells Hannah off for not looking after in properly. She blames it on the unlucky influence of the rock, but Phil doesn't care - Hannah will have to pay to get it fixed, even if it was the rock's fault!
Coffee Shop
Rick is running the Coffee Shop quite well and Mark compliments him on his work ethic. They chat about Phoebe and Stephen who are apparently getting on very well at their record shop. Mark tells Beth that it's like Phoebe and Stephen have finally worked their lives off. Beth comments that she's glad someone has(!)
No.24
Ruth the bible basher has dropped around to see Lauren. Lauren is really missing working at the stable, saying horses are less complicated than people. Ruth says that she hopes she didn't put Lauren off the other night and invites Lauren to come for a drive with them tomorrow night. Lauren isn't sure but finally agrees, given that she has no other plans.
Coffee Shop
Craig reckons that he got the part of the Artful Dodger, but of course, Rick knows better. He teases Craig about being hopeless at the auditions.

Lauren is making a salad for dinner and whistling happily to herself. She tells Lou that she's going on a country retreat with Ruth and a few friends. Lou isn't sure that they're Lauren's type with all the religious stuff they've got going on. Apparently they're just a Christian group who call themselves "Barrabus" - Lauren isn't worried because they respect her non-religious views. Lou looks a bit concerned.

Lou is looking for Helen, but only Wayne is there. He asks Wayne if he's heard of a local religious group called the "Barbarians" or "Barabians". Wayne hasn't, but then he's not into religion. Lou explains about the religious group Lauren's been hanging out with, but Wayne doesn't think there's too much to worry about.

Rick is surprised than Lauren is so happy today. Ruth and Jacob arrive to pick Lauren up and offer Rick a lift to the Coffee Shop - but he's not ready yet. When they've gone, Rick tells Lou that he thinks the Barrabians are weird.
RICK: They're so good and so pure! They're a definite worry.
Coffee Shop
Mark is advising Beth to take some time out to get over her feelings for Brad. Behind the counter, Rick is turning down a private function, but changes his tune when he hears there'll be 50 people for $20 a head. It's actually Craig on the other end of the phone, setting Rick up.
Rick tells Mark and Beth about his booking and ropes Mark in to help.
Martins (No.32)
A picture falls off the wall and Hannah jumps. Julie tells her off but Hannah says she didn't touch it - it's the rock's influence!
HANNAH:(to Holly) I don't care what Mum says. That rock's got a curse.
Coffee Shop
Mark and Rick are planning their menu - an expensive one suitable for $20 a head.
Country
Ruth and Jacob introduce Lauren to a bloke called Jericho. He says that the group really helped him when he was a down and out - he's much better now. He took the name Jericho after meeting "The Mentor".
Martins (No.32)
Hannah is too scared to go outside to play because of the rock's influence - she's scared she'll be hurt. Phil tells her it's just superstition - sometimes things just happen. He sends her off to the park with $5 to get herself a treat.
Country
Lauren is a bit surprised to see Jacob kissing one of the recruits. Ruth tells her that she and Jacob are engaged - they kiss other people because everyone in the group loves each other. There's no need to be jealous, it's just being possessive - monogamy is just about wanting to own someone. Real love isn't just a chemistry thing, it's sharing everything, not just your bodies.
Everyone gets up to play a game and make Lauren join in.
Coffee Shop
Wayne invites Beth out to dinner tonight, but she isn't too keen - she likes Wayne, but wants to sort out her feelings for Brad first. Wayne is disappointed, but agrees to wait.
Country
The Barrabians are sharing their love for one another. Jacob gets up and tells his life story of a childhood in foster homes. He lost his sister and couldn't find her again. It was Jericho that got him into the group.
JACOB: I guess what I'm trying to say - forget the past, it's a load of old garbage...we've got now. We've got each other and we've got all this. I've finally found out where I belong too.
After the group session, they all go off for a walk.
A road
Hannah is walking Holly when another dog comes up and tries to attack her. She cowers until the owner manages to call the dog off.
Martins (No.32)
Hannah is complaining about the rock again. Julie rolls her eyes.
Garden of the Martins
Hannah throws the rock over the back fence and there is the sound of breaking glass. She's horrified and runs back inside.
Coffee Shop
Rick has got all the food ready for the group booking. But Craig comes in and reveals it was just a joke. Mark has to hold Rick back from punching Craig.
RICK: I am going to get him for this.
Country
Ruth is explaining to Lauren that they go to a Praise session after their day's activities. Lauren doesn't want to come in and decides to wait outside. They accept this and Lauren caves in - she decides to come in after all.
Jericho tells Jacob quietly that he's done very well in getting Lauren into the fold. Oh dear.
