Police Station
Joe and Melanie are at the police station. Joe is called in to give his statement about the accident. Joe is rather nervous and the cop says he just wants his side of the story.

Robinson household
Doug enters and talks to Jim about the theft incident at the guest house. He says they should go over there now. Jim agrees even though there is a big storm.

Willis household
Cody and Todd are at the table. Pam and Cody mention the letter that Cody has about the exchange trip to America. Todd is surprised, asking why Cody never told him about it. Cody explains that she applied for it before she even met him and that she deffered for a year and that it recently came back up. She said when it returned was when he was being a pain and that she wanted to get away from him. She says she is not going now so it doesn't matter.

Police station
The cop has just finished typing out Joe's statement. He then calls Melanie in to give her statement. Melanie states that for a split second Joe did not have his eyes on the road as he was changing the radio station.

Guest house
Doug and Jim enter the guest house. While they are in there they see Ralph. Ralph explains that he forgot his tool box and that he has come in to collect it. Jim and Doug ask Ralph to help them move some timber into the house.

Police station
Joe is sitting nervously outside the interrogation room. Melanie comes out and Joe asks how she went, Mel says not that good. Mel explains that she told them how he took his mind off the road when changing the station. Joe said he doesn't remember this. Joe is worried about being charged.

Willis household
Todd, Cody and Pam are having dinner while watching TV. Suddenly the power goes out. While Pam is getting a torch Todd and Cody kiss and Pam catches them. She then goes to use the phone but Cody tells her not to. Cody asks Pam what she did in her days and Pam says they tell ghost stories.

Guest house
The three men have finished moving in the timber. Ralph is about to leave when one of them asks about his tool box, Ralph says it is already in his car. Doug calls Ralph back, saying that he helped him load in his tool box yesterday, and asked the real reason why he was here tonight.

Willis household
Pam is telling Cody and Todd ghost stories. They are both very scared while Pam is telling them. She tells them about an old man who used to live in the house that died or something and lost a leg, saying that Des told her that story.

Guest house
Ralph is explaining why he stole. Doug thinks he should have asked him first if he needed money. Doug and Jim talk in private, Doug thinking he should sack Ralph. Jim says they shouldn't. They agree to let him continue to work there as long as he keeps 'clean'. Ralph says he will not let them down.

Mangel household
Joe is dreaming. Melanie is standing over a woman (whom you don't see) telling Joe she is dead. Joe sees that it is Kerry and keeps screaming out her name. Joe wakes up frightened. Melanie comforts Joe.

Willis household
Pam has set up a seance to try and contact the person that died. Todd and Cody are both frightened, especially Todd. Suddenly Pam goes crazy and Todd gets very scared, saying he doesn't have the dead person's missing leg. Pam laughs as she tricked him. Suddenly there are noises at the door and Todd freaks out. Doug enters and Todd is relieved, saying he thought the man had returned to get his leg back.

Mangel household
Joe and Melanie are talking about the incident. Melanie says he should be ok as he did not hit the woman, she was already dead when they drove up. Joe replies by saying what if the Court don't think that. If the court think he did it he could be charged with manslaughter.
