Madge and Harold's
Everyone is still arguing over last episode's revelation of Jack Ramsay cheating at the poker game, meaning Ramsay Street should be called Robinson Street. Dan is trying to diffuse the situation and doesn't want to hear another word, but everyone insists on knowing the full details so Dan reluctantly hands over the diary to Scott. Scott explains that in the poker game, Sam revealed a full house while Jack hands over his 'usual' four Jacks. Scott focuses on the word 'usual', using it to base his claim that Jack cheated. Jim describes Jack as 'a rogue' but Dan thinks that all the Robinsons are just 'rotten losers. Scott has made up his mind, and is going to go ahead with the story, much to Dan's disgust. Jim proudly thinks that Ramsay Street should be called Robinsons Street.
Jim and Beverly's
Todd thinks that Katie should think about going to sleep soon as everyone will be home soon. Katie is hungry though, so decides to go into the kitchen for some biscuits. Lucy comes in, and both Todd and Katie think she's been crying over Matt again. Todd wants to know why Lucy lied about the lunch date. Lucy says that everything just spiraled out of control, and she was so upset about it all. Todd reassures her that she'll find someone else. Todd thinks Lucy should be looking forward to the party coming up but Lucy doesn't want to go without a date.
Scott and Charlene's bedroom
Charlene is annoyed that no one even got round to discussing the move to Brisbane. Charlene reveals that she really wants to move up there, but Scott is still skeptical about finding a job. Charlene advises him to check out the jobs going up in Brisbane first before being so pessimistic. Charlene attempts to entice him by reminding him of the fact that they'll have their own home without having to pay rent or a mortgage.
Madge and Harold's
Over in the kitchen, everyone is still arguing over the diary. The Robinsons in one corner (Jim and Helen) and the Ramsays in another (Madge, Dan and Henry) with Harold in the middle. Jim thinks that Jack Ramsay was a complete rip off merchant, something that angers Madge. Helen decides to take a stand and says that she believes that everyone is over-reacting and that fighting never solved anything. Dan wants Jim to stop Scott from writing the article, but Jim says that he doesn't control him and Scott can do what he wants. Dan orders Jim and Helen out of his daughter's house!
Jim and Beverly's
Jim and Helen are still reeling from events at Madge and Harold's as they come through the door. Lucy and Todd are watching TV and want to know what happened, so Jim explains the story. Lucy wonders why everyone is making such a big deal but Todd is angry and thinks that the Robinsons have been ripped off. A proud Jim thinks that as far as he's concerned, with that attitude, Todd is definitely a Robinson.
Madge and Harold's
Dan is so enraged that he's thinking about withdrawing his offer to Scott and Charlene about the house, but doesn't want the Ramsay-Robinson feud to stop his Grand-daughter's happiness. The Robinsons have always been jealous of the Ramsays according to Dan. Madge wants to know the truth about the poker game, but Dan insists that Jack won fair and square, it was just luck and it doesn't matter that Sam was supposedly a poker expert. Madge is still suspicious over the 'usual four Jacks' described in the diary, but Dan dismisses it. Madge and Harold decide to go to bed. Henry asks if Jack really cheated, Dan says he doesn't know, but that's the story he's sticking with.
Jim and Beverly's
Paul enquires as to why everyone is being so helpful all of a sudden and Jim explains that Helen has been doing too much lately so everyone is giving a hand with the house chores. Todd and Lucy, who are in the kitchen, are talking about the party tonight. Todd thinks that Lucy can go without a date which infuriates Lucy who tells him to shut up as she storms out. Todd sighs that he doesn't understand girls as he goes to sit down at the kitchen table. Paul, Jim and Helen are discussing the Robinson-Ramsay feud. Todd thinks that when Scott's article is released the name of the street should be changed to Robinson. Jim, a little dubious, thinks it's too late for that to happen as the street was named so long ago.
Madge and Harold's
Madge gets off the phone from her Mum and is infuriated with Dan. She calls out for Dan who promptly comes out of his bedroom and asks what's so urgent. Madge explains that her Mother has just rang and told her about all of Dan's lies. It turns out that Dan didn't get the house he's offering Charlene because of a friend's debt to him; he paid for it with his life insurance. Dan says that he just wanted Charlene to get off to a good start in life but Madge still thinks that he wants to interfere in their relationship because he can't stand a Ramsay and a Robinson being together. An upset Dan says that it probably won't be around much longer so he just wants to spend as much time with his grand-daughter as possible. An unsympathetic Madge doesn't believe him, and thinks that she can read him like a book.
Ramsay Street
Todd and Katie are covering up the Ramsay Street sign with 'Robinson st'. Todd thinks that Jim and Beverly won't mind, as the street should have originally been called Robinson Street. Dan sees what they're doing and rushes over to tell them to take it down otherwise they'll be in big trouble. As Dan gets increasingly angry, he groans and holds his stomach in agony. Paul and Scott see his distress and rush over to help.
Madge and Harold's
Paul and Scott help Dan through the door and sit him onto the couch. Madge asks what happened so Scott and Paul explain. Dan doesn't want any pain relief by Paul is adamant that he go and get Beverly. Dan explains to Madge about his ulcer and how he doesn't think he'll have too long to live. Scott realises that that's the reason why he wanted him and Charlene to move up to Brisbane. Dan confirms Scott hunch and explains that he wanted to spend as much time with his grand-daughter as possible, but he didn't want to let her know how ill he is because he didn't want her to move to Brisbane through sympathy. Dan makes Scott and Madge promise not to tell Charlene. They both reluctantly agree not to tell her.
The Garage
Henry and Charlene are talking about the possible move. Henry can tell that Charlene is keen but Charlene explains that it's all down to Scott and whether he can find a job, if not they'll stay. She wants to put her marriage first for once. Jim comes along and asks Henry if he would be able to paint over the graffiti on the garage within the next few days. Henry agrees, but only at ten dollars an hour.
Jim and Beverly's
Helen is just getting off the phone from Madge. She tells an apologetic Katie and Todd that Dan should be fine and even though they didn't mean any harm, they should have checked with herself, Jim or Beverly before trying to replace the sign. Helen leaves to do some shopping. Todd goes over to Lucy on the couch to try and convince her that he can get her a date for Emma's party but Lucy doesn't want to go to the party at all. She'd rather stay home than seem desperate. She angrily storms off into her bedroom. Todd goes to the phone and explains to Katie that he's going to do whatever it takes to find a date for Lucy.
The Garage
Scott sneaks up and scares Charlene who is working on a car. Charlene is glad to see him as she wants to tell him that she thinks she's been selfish about the house and that she should be more understanding about it all. Scott is impressed that Charlene would give it all up for him but is desperate to tell her some news. They're moving to Brisbane! I guess that means he found a job then?
