Paul and Gail's
Gail is still under hypnosis. She is reeling off letters from the registration plate as Paul notes them down. As she gets halfway through she pauses, there is mud on the number plate. Beverly brings her out of the hypnosis and Gail is visibly upset and frustrated that she couldn't recall the registration number. Paul speaks to her and she remembers that that radio aerial was an old coat hanger with a piece of green material tied to it. Gail thanks Beverly for her help and Beverly says she wishes she could do something more for Daphne.
Hospital
Des is at Daphne's side and he's holding her hand. He apologises for not being with her last night and asks her how she is feeling. He talks to her about the goings on back home. He tells her not to worry about Jamie as he's having a great time with everyone looking after him.
Garage
Scott sneaks up on Charlene. She's in a bad mood and tells him he and Henry need to clean up the house as the mess bothers her. She informs him she is on strike. He tells her they shouldn't argue over housework but she sticks to her guns.
Mrs Mangel's
Jane is on the phone to Len. Mrs Mangel tells Harold how much the house means to her. Harold assures her that Jane will sort everything out for her. Jane finishes the phone call and tells Mrs Mangel that Len wants to sell the house and split the profit. Harold tries to be positive and tells her she can buy a nice little place of her own but Mrs Mangel insists she will not be thrown out of her home.
Paul and Gail's
Jane arrives as Beverly leaves, she wants to talk to Paul and Gail about Mrs Mangels situation. Jane wants to get a loan to buy out Lens share. Paul thinks it's a risk and Gail tells her to think about it before she commits. Paul suggests they should look for something that will fit both Jane and Mrs Mangels needs.
Ramsays
Scott arrives home and tells Henry they should clean up the house. Henry isn't bothered but Scott reminds him that he has to more to lose then he does. Henry has a brainwave; they can have a housecleaning party! They will invite their friends round to have fun and help them clean the house!
Ramsay Street
Henry invites Jane to the party. Jane's not interested but Henry charms her and tells her about the house-tidying plan.
Mrs Mangel's
Harold is reading some more 'Dear Georgette' letters. Jane arrives home and Harold isn't happy at the interruption. He heads to The Coffee Shop for some peace and quiet, dropping a 'Dear Georgette' letter as he goes. Jane picks it up and reads it.
Hospital
Beverly examines Daphne and tells Des there is no change. Des talks to Daphne and tells her he knows she is going to pull through this. He talks to her about the early days in their relationship and we see flashbacks of Des carrying Daphne out of The Coffee Shop and of their wedding. He strokes her head and tells her she is going to be fine.
Ramsays' Backyard
Henry and Scott are sunbathing when they hear Charlene scream. She's still upset about all the mess. Henry tells her about the housecleaning party. Charlene thinks he's mad and storms back inside.
Hospital
Paul and Gail arrive to see Daphne. Des encourages them to talk to Daphne and they do so. Paul asks Des for a word outside and Gail sits beside Daphne filling her in on the gossip. Paul wants Des to stay with him and Gail for the night but he refuses, he wants to stay with Daphne. Paul goes to get a coffee and runs into Beverly. She expresses concern over Des' optimism.
Ramsays' Backyard
Jane joins Charlene, Henry and Scott by the pool. She draws their attention to the 'Dear Georgette' column. They speculate Georgette's identity. Charlene thinks she's an old maid whilst Henry thinks she's a voluptuous blond. Jane gives a very apt description and tells them Georgette is Harold. She shows them the letter he dropped and Henry hatches a plan. He wants them to write a letter to Georgette.
