Mrs Mangels
Sandra Lloyd is visiting Harold. His articles were too extreme for the Erinsborough News but impressed Sandra due to the strength of Harold's opinions. Sandra tells him she has a proposition that might interest him.
Ramsays Backyard
Charlene and Henry are relaxing by the pool. Charlene is moaning that Henry isn't pulling his weight around the house. Henry tells her of his plans to unite Helen and Frank but she reminds him what happened when he tried to reunite Madge and Harold. Beverly arrives to pay them for the lunch and Charlene and Henry bicker about who should have the biggest cut. They discuss the opening of the gallery and Charlene says she doesn't feel right having fun when Daphne is in such a bad way.
Mrs Mangels
Sandra has offered Harold the role of ‘Dear Georgette'; the Erinsborough News agony aunt. Harold is delighted; especially when Sandra tells him he'll be receiving $200 a week for his efforts. However as the newspaper is keen to keep Georgette's departure under wraps Harold must adopt her persona.
Paul and Gails
Paul and Gail return from the exhibition. Gail comments that Frank looked very uncomfortable. Des arrives having just left the hospital. He is very withdrawn and Gail suggests he gets some sleep. As Gail and Paul make him some coffee Des falls asleep on their sofa. They decide to leave him there, as he obviously needs the rest.
Mrs Mangels
Mrs Mangel and Jane arrive home from the exhibition. Mrs Mangel tells Harold that Frank Darcy is the gentlemen who helped her at the lake earlier on in the day. Harold tells them he's sorry he didn't make the exhibition, but he was too busy working. Mrs Mangel goes to make coffee and Jane asks Harold how the meeting with Sandra went. He is very secretive and doesn't tell Jane what happened. Jane expresses her concerns about Mrs Mangels divorce. She thinks she may lose the house.
Paul and Gails
It's the following morning and Gail and Paul wake Des up. They tell him they called the hospital and were told there has been no change in Daphne's condition. As Paul and Gail show Des to the door the police arrive. Des fears the worse but they tell him they are here to speak to Gail – they really need her help identifying the car in the accident.
Mrs Mangels
Harold is reading some of the letters for his column. Mrs Mangel interrupts and tells him she thinks he's wasting his time with the newspaper job. They prepare to leave for church and Mrs Mangel says she will be asking Reverend Sampson for his advice regarding her divorce.
Hospital
Des arrives and sees Beverly leaving work. Des is feeling guilty for leaving Daphne alone during the night. Beverly tells him he needs to rest and last night was his body telling him that. She tells him she admires his positive attitude but makes it clear that many coma patients never wake up. Des says he's aware of that but knows Daphne will pull through.
Paul and Gails
Gail is distant and Paul asks her what's wrong. She tells him she has to do something to help the investigation along. She's decided to try hypnosis.
Ramsays
Henry is on the phone to Madge. He tells her how everything at home is fine and under control. Charlene lectures him some more on the household chores and says she is fed up of doing everything around the house. She announces she is on strike!
Paul and Gails
Beverly arrives and tells Paul and Gail that Jim and Lucy left for Arlingwood college this morning. Beverly explains the hypnosis procedure. She says Gail will feel comfortable and relaxed and hopefully by the end of the session Gail will be able to recall the accident without experiencing any pain. Paul is still cynical about the whole thing but asks if he can stay with Gail, Beverly says that's fine so long as he doesn't interfere.
Outside Mrs Mangels
Mrs Mangel tells Jane and Harold she spoke to Reverend Sampson about the divorce. He was concerned for her and hoped the church wouldn't lose her if she lost the house and had to move away. Jane tells Mrs Mangel she feared that could happen and that's why she wants her to see a solicitor. Mrs Mangel says she needs to know now whether or not she will lose her home and asks Jane to phone Len for her.
Paul and Gails
Gail is under hypnosis. Beverly is taking her back to the day of the accident. They speak about the journey home from Daphne's father's funeral. Gail says Daphne is upset for her Dad but relieved that the pressure has been lifted. She's happy about returning home to Des and Jamie. Gail describes what happened at the traffic lights. The men in the other car are making suggestive remarks at Daphne. They start to follow Daphne's car and Gail becomes panicked. Beverly takes Gail back and pauses the action at the traffic lights, she asks her for the registration number. Gail tries hard but she can't see it. She can't read the number plate.
