Recap
Mrs Mangel and Madge fight, ending up with Madge hitting Mrs Mangel with her newspaper. Mrs M goes inside and clutches her chest before collapsing on the carpet.
At the Ramsays:
Madge and Harold argue, Harold telling her he has never been so ashamed in his life. He's off to check Mrs Mangel is okay but Madge goes ballistic and forbids him. He huffs and puffs but stays with her.
At Mrs Mangel's:
Mrs M calls out for help, but her cries are drowned out by Henry mowing her lawns. She struggles up but collapses by the phone. Henry's mower runs out of petrol and he hears a crash inside, even though it's miles away. He goes to see what's wrong and shouts out to Madge and Harold that something is wrong. Harold lets him in and they call an ambulance.
At the office:
Paul and Jane are busy when Henry rings with the news about Nel. Jane rushes out, telling Paul that Nel's had a heart attack. He offers to drive her to the hospital.
At the hospital:
A poorly looking Mrs Mangel is wheeled inside as Jane and Paul and Madge and Harold arrive. Jane tells her Nan she loves her as she's wheeled away.
At the Clarkes:
Everyone is fussing around Jamie, especially Mike. Megan is not impressed. She's not a baby person. Daphne says having babies is what we're designed for and Megan mutters "Just because you got muscles doesn't mean you have to be a weightlifter."
At the hospital:
Madge tells Harold Nel's in good hands and now they have to get the coffee shop open. Harold thinks she's got her priorities wrong. He agrees to open the shop but then he's coming straight back.
At the Robinsons:
Henry has carried all Helen's bags in for her, she's back from the Bungle Bungles. Madge runs in to welcome her home and fills Helen in on what's happened with Mrs Mangel. She's feeling guilty that people think it's all her fault.
At the office:
Jane has come back to work because there's nothing she could do at the hospital. Harold is surprised she isn't staying with her nan. She gets upset and says it's her fault her nan is in hospital but he says there are others who should be shouldering their share of the blame (ie Madge).
At the Clarkes:
Des has built a rocker thing for Jamie but Daphne won't put him in it until it's been tested with flour (??) Daphne asks Megan about her plans and she says she's going to move into a flat. Daph asks her if that's not too expensive on her own and she answers that she's moving in with someone else, looking at Mike. Daph goes back to the flour test leaving Mike and Megan to row - which everyone overhears. Mike is forced to confess that he's moving in with Megan, although he looks far from pleased at the prospect now.
At the Robinsons:
Helen reassures Madge that Nel's heart attack must have been building for a while. Madge wishes there was something she could do to make it up to her and Helen agrees that Ramsay Street is too small to hold grudges like they've all been doing.
At the Clarkes:
World War Three has broken out over Mike moving out and it's woken Jamie up. Des sends Eileen off to the coffee shop. Megan goes off to pack telling Mike he should be packing too - if he's still coming with her that is.
At the office:
Paul tells Jane to go home because she's making mistakes. Madge comes in and asks why Jane isn't at home. Paul says that's it - she's going. She agrees to go and see Helen so she's not sitting in an empty house. After she's gone Madge asks what's going to happen to Nel's job? He laughs and accuses her of trying to steal the job. She protests that she just wants to keep it open for her because she feels guilty.
At the Clarkes:
Daphne is trying to talk sense into Mike about moving in with Megan. She tells him that he thinks he's in love now but he should take time to let the relationship build. Megan comes out, bags packed, and asks Mike if he's coming with her. He tells her there's no rush but she wants to know now.
At the Robinsons:
Jane and Helen chat about Nel. Helen tells her she can't blame herself, it takes two to start a fight. Jane cries that she'd turned her back on her own grandmother. Helen hugs her and says this is a good reminder to be kinder to each other in the future.
Outside:
Mike follows Megan, carrying her cases. He tells her he couldn't walk out on them, they're the only family he's known. She tells him the street is too cliquey and there's no hope if you're not a member. Realising things are over she tells him she knew things wouldn't work when she saw him with the baby. She gets in her car and drives away as Mike sits on the kerb and looks after her sadly, before giving Bouncer a hug.
