Tom and Madge are both a bit fed up - Tom about Jean and Madge about Fred. Madge wishes she hadn't flown off the handle with Charlene on the phone, and Tom reassures Madge that Charlene will call again. Madge is also worried that Scott is taking advantage of Charlene! Tom says if they're not back tomorrow, he'll go and look for them himself.
Madge is just finishing the wedding cake, and Tom admires her handiwork.
Cassie meets Mike and Scott. They haven't had much luck with their job-hunting so far. Cassie offers to buy them a cup of coffee.
Scott is carrying Cassie's groceries. They decide to go back to the flat and Cassie tells them casually that Roger will be done by now. Scott is horrified that Charlene is being photographed naked and dashes off.
Scott confronts Charlene, saying she's cheap and has no respect for herself. She's not happy, but tells Scott that she didn't pose for any pictures - she sent Roger packing. But even if she had, it wouldn't have been any of Scott's business. Scott turns on Mike who's just come in and tells him that Cassie is a porno queen. Mike is angry and calls Scott a hypocrite.
Des and Daphne are having a bit of a kiss. Daphne is worried something could go wrong with the wedding, but he assures her nothing will. Paul comes in for a sandwich and begs Daphne to let Des have a bucks party. She says she doesn't want to take any chances - knowing Des's luck he'll end up in hospital with alcohol poisoning.
DES: Hey, I can hold my drink.
DAPHNE: Oh, really? Don't you remember how we met?
PAUL: Oh yeah, it was at the bucks party (tailing off) for when Des was going to marry...
DAPHNE: Exactly. And you can't tell me a thing about bucks' nights, I've probably been to more of them than either of you!
There is an awkward silence.
Paul suggests that they could have the bucks night tonight so that Des could have a whole day to recover tomorrow. Daphne finally relents. Paul and Des are chuffed, but their faces fall when Daphne bans alcohol. Des says he'll get Clive to organise the party and they'll have fun even without beer.
Scott is sulking and Charlene tells him off - Cassie is letting them stay at her flat after all! Scott doesn't want "his girl" flaunting herself.
Cassie arrives home and Scott has a go at her. He tells her not to drag Charlene down to her level. Cassie takes offence and storms off, saying they can both leave.
Paul and Des are eating enormous sandwiches(!) with Clive. They talk about the alcohol ban at the party and Des is determined that they keep their promise to Daphne. Paul reckons that Des is being hen-pecked already! Clive says he's got everything in hand.
Mike comes home. He's shocked to hear that Cassie has thrown Charlene and Scott out - they haven't got any money. Cassie said she had no choice after Scott insulted her. Mike wonders what to do, but Cassie thinks Mike should just leave them to it!
An alleyway at night
Scott and Charlene see a beggar but they run away, looking for somewhere else to speak.
Madge is surprised that Daphne is allowing a bucks night - she herself doesn't approve of them. Tom and Shane are looking forward to it.
Danny comes in and says he's been for some goodbye drinks at work.
DANNY: I've got a transfer to the country.
MADGE, TOM and SHANE: What?!
DANNY: Yeah, I didn't want to say anything about it until it was definite.
Daphne is heading out and grimaces at Clive's punch. Des sees her off, just as Shane, Tom, Danny, Paul and Jim arrive. Shane wants to know where the booze and strippers are, so Daphne puts him in his place. All the boys grimace at the thought of fruit punch(!) and assure Daphne that they'll look after Des. Daphne realises she's being a spoilsport and relents.
Madge is helping Helen to shorten a rather horrible dress(!) She tells him about Danny leaving home - he'll be going straight after the wedding. Apparently Danny really likes country life and is looking forward to it. It will be strange without him though.
Daphne comes in and compliments Helen's dress. She tells them that she's given in about the alcohol at the bucks party. Helen suggests a party of their own - they've got a bottle of champagne in the fridge.
Des is drinking beer out of a yard glass(!) Everyone is rather drunk and enjoying themselves. Jim asks Clive not to fill Des's glass too often as Des has to turn up to the church in one piece.
Des gets up to make a speech. He tells them how much he loves and respects Daphne. He thanks them all for coming to see him off and to Clive for organising.
Jim heads off because he has an early meeting and charges Tom with looking after Des.
The girls can now hear loud music coming from No.22. Daphne is concerned, but Helen and Madge tell her not to worry. Jim comes in an assures Daphne that Tom is looking after Des. They all assure Daphne that nothing will happen to the wedding this time.
The boys are now very drunk, and wearing fake noses and glasses(!) Clive can't even remember where he lives(!) and Des ends up falling down. Clive takes a look at him and says he's having a lovely sleep(!) Paul says they should play a joke on Des - they just need some plaster of Paris.
