Terry says that Shane helped her so much when she first came to Ramsay Street. Shane says the best friend Terry has is Paul
Scott is suspicious because he saw Shane leaving No.30 that morning.
Paul comes in and asks what's going on.
Shane tells Paul that he stayed over on the couch because they thought there was a prowler. Paul says that's fine and Scott stalks off.
Paul says he has to get to bed because he's exhausted. When Shane has gone, Terry says she really missed Paul and liked his silly postcard - she laughed.
PAUL: With me or at me?
He stalks off to bed.
Danny is still fed up about not winning the talent quiz. Max tells him not to take it to heart - these things are always rigged. For example, it's always the barman's son! Max is stuggling with his accounts and Danny offers to take a look - he does work in a bank after all.
Shane comes in and goes straight to bed.
Terry wakes up and finds Paul isn't there. He is in the living room. Paul says that the prowler story isn't true - he wants to know what's going on. Terry says there's nothing to tell - she's being hassled by someone. Paul demands to know who it is, but Terry says that Paul will only make a fuss. She admits that it's Charles Durham.
Paul wants to know why Charles was there at all. Terry says he always comes over when Paul is away. Terry says she's not interested in Charles or Shane. Paul storms off.
Paul is banging on the door in his pyjamas. He shouts at Shane to stay away from Terry or there'll be trouble. Shane says that there's nothing going on - he was only helping Terry out. Shane insists that Scott has got it all wrong. Paul says he'd better not come near his wife again or he'll kill him. He stomps off back across the road.
Paul is ranting about Shane. Terry says that Shane hasn't done anything. She starts to cry and Paul says he's going to protect her. They head off to bed.
Max, Danny and Shane are shocked about what just happened. Max asks Shane quietly what's going on. Shane says that Terry lied to Paul - it wasn't a prowler, it was a creep that's been hassling her for weeks. Max points out that Shane was keen on Terry once, but Shane says that was over ages ago. Max says that maybe Terry thought she'd landed on her feet at last by marrying Paul. He thinks Paul is just trying to protect his marriage.
No.30, the following morning
Paul gets up first.
Paul sees Scott in the street. He apologises for yesterday - he was just a bit tired. He thanks Scott for his concern, but everything is under control now.
Scott sees Danny but Danny doesn't want to speak to him. He doesn't want to form a band with Scott now or ever. Scott says he's been asked to join another band and he was going to ask Danny to join. Danny says that's the last thing he wants.
Danny wishes Sarah a good morning and tells Fiona that their audition tapes got stolen.
Des stands up - he says he's got a special announcement to make. Head Office are going to publish an in-house magazine. Their branch has been chosen to be the first to be represented in the magazine and they're looking for a "Miss Pacific Bank". Danny says that's sexist. Danny asks if he can help judge, but Des says that's his job(!)
Danny tells Fiona that he thinks she'll win. Des calls Danny over and sends him on an errand.
Daphne has come over to see Terry. She asks Terry if she could be pregnant, being sick in the morning. Terry says she isn't. Daphne makes a cup of tea. Terry says that she told Paul about Charles, but not everything. She's scared Paul will leave her if she tells him the whole truth. Daphne says she must, but Terry doesn't want to take the risk. Terry says that she must find the tape. It's her only hope.
No-one is home when Terry comes in. Terry starts looking for the tape, but Scott creeps up on her. He asks her what's going on. Terry says that there's nothing going on between her and Shane, but Scott reckons the way they were looking at each other gave it away.
Terry asks Paul if they could go overseas - somewhere where Charles couldn't get at her. Paul says he has a better idea - he'll go and see Charles and sort him out once and for all.
Sarah suggests a little prize for married couples that open a joint account.
Paul answers the phone to Charles Durham. He tells him he's a gutless wonder. He tells him to give up and leave Terry alone. He gives Paul his address and they agree to meet up.
PAUL: I'll see you shortly.
CHARLES: I'll be waiting.
Danny is messing about with Sarah's blonde wig, pretending to be the winner of the Miss Pacific Bank competition.
Paul has arrived. He immediately starts shouting at Charles about hassling his wife. But Charles says he's invited Paul over to set things straight. He hasn't been chasing Terry, there is a truth that Paul doesn't know. Charles tells him that his wife is nothing but a tramp.
