PAUL: Hasn't he got children galore? One from every ex- wife?
LUCY: That sounds a little familiar.

Karl plans to send jobs her way depending how much she charges! Dex is happy to help with the house. Karl thanks JJ for humouring Harold.
KARL: We think of him as the grandfather of Ramsay Street.
JJ: Some old people just want to be listened to.
Remi mostly works in Werribee but picks up shifts wherever. Apparently Erinsborough Hospital is always looking to hire professionals. JJ zooms in on a picture on his phone of the history book. It's a photo of the Rodwell family.
Lassiter's Hotel Room
Reece is leaving Byron a voicemail inviting him for a drink. Reece answers the door to Paul. Paul has arranged the best suite for Reece and housekeeping will help her to move. She's fine where she is. He invites her to dinner again but she needs to make calls. Paul tells her he's noted she's used all the facilities and thinks she's taking stock of the place.
REECE: You're right and I found many things lacking.
He wants to offer her a personal tour the next day so she can take a positive review to the US. She agrees to this. She's expecting to be wowed.
It's now the next day. Susan goes into a cupboard and takes a box out. She looks at the expensive jewellery inside the box. Karl and Holly come through from the bedrooms talking about Reece so Susan puts the jewellery away. Susan asks Holly about being in Reece's room, Holly points out she was delivering a package as requested. Holly thinks it's justified and Karl backs her up which doesn't impress Susan. Karl tries to get Sam onside who decides to stay neutral and head off to work.
SUSAN: That is an example of a good employee.
Karl promises to talk to Holly but Susan isn't convinced as he is being lax with her. Karl reminds Susan that Holly went through a tough time after her travels. Susan tells him that it can't keep going on like that.
SUSAN: I've had enough.
Remi thinks the price is too much, Cara thinks it's a guide rather than the actual price. Remi is more hesitant, Cara checks if she's worrying about the Linwell brothers.
Dex is telling JJ that he thinks Remi isn't keen on building a house. The project is bigger than Cara can handle. JJ thinks they'll work things out.
DEX: We'll be living with Nan and Pops for years on end.
Cara thinks things will be ok as nothing has happened in two months. Remi wants to make sure everything is ok.
CARA: I would never put our family at risk.
They agree to take a look at the block of land.
Lassiter's Hotel Room
Byron turns up with a pillow as requested and reluctantly comes in at Reece's request. She realises Reece was put in a tricky position but she says it wasn't time to be honest with Paul. Byron explains that Paul and Jane have been friends for a long time. Paul treats him as a protege. Reece understands where he's coming from but wants to keep spending time together. She's not his boss, she's an investor.
REECE: I see what I want to see. And that's you. I miss you.
Byron tells her he has to work and heads off.
Holly is hungry as she arrives home. Susan looks pointedly at Karl. He gets Holly to sit down. He's glad she chose to live here after travelling as he was afraid she'd live with Izzy.
KARL: Maybe I've let things slide more than I usually would.
Karl just wants anyone living here plus at work to help out and be respectful. Holly was expecting him to be on her side, he points out he's not choosing sides. He sees she's been acting out since her devastating breakup with Eden. Holly is convinced Susan is behind this which Karl denies. Holly thinks Susan is a hypocrite. Holly tells Karl to look in the cupboard and heads off to work.

Lucy needs to rush back to Mark and Annie after the tour. Holly hands Reece her usual drink, an extra hot flat white. Reece thanks her but notes the cup is sticky. The others head off.
Byron is laughing, Holly explains she had been eating an orange. Holly notes Byron seems to be over familiar with Reece and notes he didn't seem surprised about the reveal. Byron admits he was suspicious but is vague about it. Holly gets a message on her phone. She tells Byron about what happened with Karl. She was told about the cupboard in confidence when Susan and Holly managed to connect. Byron doesn't sound surprised Holly spoke out of turn.
HOLLY: I think I went too far.
She thinks the fallout will be huge.
Susan is glad that Karl spoke to Holly and thinks it's best to clear the air before it's too late. Karl turns around, Susan sees he is holding one of the boxes from the cupboard. Susan is speechless as Karl looks at Susan.
Sam, Paul and Lucy give Reece the tour. Paul offers Reece a rose from one of the outdoor table arrangements, she walks off. Lucy is not impressed. Reece isn't impressed to see a plant has fallen over and nothing has been done. Paul indicates to the staff to clean it up.

Reece isn't impressed to find a hair in her coffee. Paul tries to talk her round but she wants them to let Holly go from her role.
REECE: Her rudeness is unacceptable.
Paul tries to understand there's a personal connection but Reece isn't budging. She tells Holly that she's fired.
Susan explains that she bought some jewellery and there's nothing more to it. Karl thinks there's more to it than she's letting on. She didn't want to justify how much the jewellery cost when they've been tightening their belts. Karl reminds her about her payout. There is a silence, this seems to be the issue. She explains that things aren't as they used to be. Karl reminds her he keeps apologising over and over.
SUSAN: I've spent over $20,000.
Karl isn't sure what to say. She explains that she wants to spend money on nice things like jewellery. Karl still doesn't understand the resentment to Montana or secrecy.
Holly arrives home and apologises for letting the cat out the bag. Holly admits she's been fired. Karl and Susan both sigh in despair.
HOLLY: Guess this morning can't get much worse can it?
Remi and Cara compliment JJ's driving. Cara is pleased for the land, location to the school and Remi's parents. Remi doesn't want to rush into a decision. Cara doesn't want someone else to get in first. Dex wants Remi to be honest.
DEX: Mum Ma doesn't want to build a house.
Remi denies this. Dex points out Cara's not so good at fixing things for the family but Cara reins him in. Dex reminds Cara that they all love her but it would be a huge project to undertake. Other projects haven't been that great in the past. Dex suggests they build a house that has been built already. Remi wants to chat inside as they need to tell the boys something. She calls JJ who is staring at No.26.
Holly realises that this is what she deserves. She'll find another job and try and sort things out. Karl wants to know how Holly found out. Holly saw a delivery arrive. Karl wants to know what else he needs to know about but Susan brushes him off. Susan asks Holly to let just the two of them talk.
Susan admits she has been dealing with feelings she has and buying jewellery has helped the feelings. Susan is worried there will be no return if she admits to how she's feeling.
SUSAN: I've been resenting you. It's been churning inside me... I left my job. I sacrificed my future, I gave away who I am. My very identity. And I blame you.
