Police station
Freya waits to talk to Levi but he's avoiding talking to her by being on the phone. Aaron enters the station and updates Freya on David - he's safe and in the prison hospital. He demands her phone (in case Emma calls) so there is no more delays in Freya getting to court for her sentencing.

Almost reluctantly Freya heads off and Levi comes off the phone. Aaron has a go at Levi for how he treated Freya but he's not listening because as far as he's concerned, its her lying yet again to him. "I told you, we had to do whatever Emma wanted for David's sake," Aaron reminds him with but Levi isn't buying it because Freya "isn't trained for this" adding too that neither is Aaron!

AARON: She is blaming herself for what happened to David and we thought he could die. She risked her live for someone else and you have the audacity to go and make this about yourself.

Harold's café (rear sitting area)
Nicolette comes out to deliver Kiri's order and accepts her invite to church for later on. Their chat is interrupted by Byron arriving for a chat with his sister. They move away from the seating area to talk privately and Byron tells Nicolette about his plan - he's going to blindfold Danielle to distract her while he looks for proof. Nicolette suggests that he looks for Clive's missing watch.

Police station (exterior)
Sgt. Rodwell tells Aaron that David is still being treated and so is unsure when he will be able to visit in person but promises to organise a video call instead. He then adds that once treated, David will be moved into protection and has to defend their in-action as they thought the threat was anything more than the usual "prison confrontation."

Levi backs his Sergeant up by telling Aaron that if they hadn't kept quiet about the call from Emma, the judge might have taking it more seriously. Sgt. Rodwell jumps in to calm things down by saying they now know what is going on, coupled with the seriousness of David's assault, the police can investigate inside the prison.

Aaron replies with a very sarcastic "well done!" and hears Levi reassure him that they will be looking for Emma. Before Aaron heads off, Sgt. Rodwell asks that he doesn't tell Paul until an arrest is made.

SGT. RODWELL: The last thing that we need is him getting in everyone's way.
AARON: Right, so you want me to leave it up to you when all you've done is completely fail David so far?!
SGT. RODWELL: We'll handle this.

From the distain look Aaron gives, he doesn't think so!

Harold's café (rear sitting area)
Jane has bought Clive a replacement pocket watch just like the one lost and he loves it. The pair are kissing when Nicolette interrupts to take their order. Jane places her order than heads straight inside and after Clive places his order, Nicolette tries to engage Clive in friendly conversation... like where did he lose his last watch (doesn't know) and since marriage is in air (thanks to Melanie and Toadie getting engaged) and he's been dating Jane for a while, she asks if he is going to propose too? Clive replies no adding "I'd hardly tell you first!"

NICOLETTE: Well, just as long as you're both happy... and no-one's dating anyone else!
CLIVE: No, of course not.
NICOLETTE: Good!

Danielle's house
Danielle literally drags Byron upstairs to her bedroom but before they get down to business, he blindfolds her. She seems to like this game and Byron starts looking around the bed for evidence.

Danielle is getting impatient, so Byron grabs a pen and roleplays (pretending it's a laser beam) but really it's just a ruse so he can get the passcode to get into her phone! The number she blurts out (on the pretence that the laser beam will turn off) is the correct passcode for her phone and when Byron scrolls through her contacts, he comes across 'Dr C'. With the evidence found, Byron goes to put the phone back in Danielle's handbag but unfortunately he's a bit slow and of course gets caught!

DANIELLE: What are you doing?!

The Waterhole
Paul tells Leo about having issues trying to raise the money to buy Terese out. Leo suggests getting the money via a new partner, but Paul doesn't want that (unless it's the last resort) and instead swithers about calling Des to see if his bank can assist.

Harold's café (rear sitting area)
Clive is just about to chat with Jane when he gets a text message from Danielle summoning him! He feigns that he's been called into a work to excuse himself from Jane.

Harold's café (rear sitting area)/Road outside Danielle's house
Byron calls his sister to tell her about getting caught and because Danielle thought he was robbing her; he has been fired too. Hope might not be lost though - Byron tells his sister about finding the 'Dr C' contact in Danielle's phone and thinks its Clive. Nicolette tells him about Clive leaving after getting a text message and thinks it might have been Danielle texting him rather than it being a summons from the hospital. Nicolette now decides to be an amateur sleuth and follow Clive!

The Waterhole/Warrinor prison
Having told Paul and Leo about David being injured, Aaron joins the pair in the promised video call to David. After Leo asks how he is, David replies he's been given some pain meds therefore isn't sure how long he will be able to talk for. Aaron reassures David they will come visit as soon as they are allowed to. Paul asks if he can remember what happened and who attacked him, but David can't as he was attacked him from behind. All three are concerned for David but given he's sleepy due to the meds, the call doesn't last very long.

After the call ends, Aaron wasn't too amused at the questions Paul was asking, but he just wants to know who inside is acting on behalf of the gang.

Lassiters Complex
Nicolette is trying to follow Clive as he makes his way towards his car and of course runs into Kiri. Kiri thinks because Nicolette has finished early, she's ready to head to church so Nicolette apologies for bailing as she's got to do something for her mum.

The Waterhole
Terese spots that Paul is in a mess when she enters the bar and goes over to talk to him. Leo explains about David being hurt again and Paul feels useless at not being able to help. She asks if she can do anything, but there isn't.

Ramsay Street
Freya arrives back in the street and gets out of her car. Levi is of course there and we hear she got probation, which explains the happy look she has on her face! He seems genuinely happy to hear the news too and apologises for his earlier behaviour (Aaron filled him in). Freya hated not telling him and explains why - she loves him too much to drag him into it. Levi is very happy to hear that and says 'I love you' back to her before the pair start pashing.

Danielle's house
Entering Danielle's house, Clive wonders why he's been summoned. Danielle explains about "employing the services of men" and that one of them was "asking odd questions about my personal life." She didn't think too much about it and tells Clive about catching this guy going through her bag. "Was he stealing from you?" a very concerned Clive asks back but she isn't sure and goes on to tell him about checking her phone and his contact being open on the phone.

CLIVE: Who is this person?
DANILLE: I know him as Harvey J but I'm sure that's not his real name.

Unfortunately Danielle doesn't have a photo of Harvey and is sure its nothing but thought Clive deserved to be warned given his "senior position." Clive thanks her for "being cautious" and Danielle places her palm at the side of Clive's head... just at this point, the unseen Nicolette (outside on the front balcony) has got some photos of this on her phone. She doesn't look too amused at what she's seen!

Police station (exterior)
Sgt. Rodwell updates Aaron, Paul, Levi and Freya about David being discharged from the prison hospital and moved to protection where he has his own doctor, a set of rotating guards and cameras outside his cell. David is allowed visitors too once he's settled in and will use the other prison facilities at different times to the other inmates. Sadly there is no update on who attacked David yet but questions are being asked. Paul isn't happy and goes off in a hump declaring the police "incompetent!"

Aaron confirms to Sgt. Rodwell that he did keep quiet hence why Paul doesn't know about Emma.

AARON: I'm giving you guys one more chance.

Freya promises Sgt. Rodwell that she will tell him if Emma communicates with her and barely has he said that when Freya gets a picture text from Emma - its David lying sleeping in his cell. Levi takes the phone off her and goes inside to show Sgt. Rodwell.

The Waterhole
Terese spots that Paul is now in a better mood after he (and Leo) re-enter the bar. She almost trips herself up by chatting to Paul about his woes with Mr Trotter last week. Paul eventually does the maths and sincerely thanks her for stepping in to help. Terese has a proposal for him - delaying their settlement until things settle down with David. Paul thanks her but he doesn't want things to drag out.

Police station
Sgt. Rodwell confirms that the photo is showing David in his new protection cell. Aaron demands that Sgt. Rodwell gets on the phone and calls the prison but rather than do that, Sgt. Rodwell and Levi share a look with one another.

Freya picks up on the look and Levi explains they think it's a guard who took the photo, not an inmate. Aaron doesn't take the news well, saying "if the guards are corrupt then that means David's in more trouble that he ever was before!" Sgt. Rodwell tries to reassure Aaron that while "it is worrying," the gang have now "shown their hand" and so they can use this to their advantage.

Warrinor prison
David hobbles into the visiting room and its Sgt. Rodwell in his civvies who is there to meet him. "I'm sure I'm not who you expected," Sgt. Rodwell says to David and right enough it wasn't.

SGT. RODWELL: This is all off the record for now, but if you like what I have to say, we can make it official with your lawyer.

David seems bemused but signals for Sgt. Rodwell to carry on.

SGT. RODWELL: There's been some news. Don't get alarmed.
DAVID: Tell me.
SGT. RODWELL: It seems one of your guards has links to the gang.

"What?!" David replies and starts looking around... cue the camera cutting to one of the guards! "You have to do something!" David says and Sgt. Rodwell has a plan - if David agrees to said plan, a word will be said to the prosecutor so that David doesn't do jail time.

SGT. RODWELL: Could be dangerous though.
DAVID: (determined) Tell me what I need to do.

Number 32
Nicolette shows Byron the photos she took on her phone after following Clive to Danielle's house. The pair agree that Jane needs to be told and just at that, Jane comes into the kitchen after attending to the bairns and Byron tells her to take a seat.

NICOLETTE: There's no easy way to say this mum. Clive's having an affair.
