Glen can't believe after everything he's done for Estelle she's showing her gratitude by extorting him. The only reason he didn't tell Terese about the pills is because she doesn't need anything else to worry about. "Exactly. Why add to her troubles?" Estelle reasons. "That's why I need your help to reconcile with Terese for her sake." Glen retorts that Estelle's already done enough damage, but Estelle insists she's not going to hurt Terese again.
Lassiters Car Park
Harlow sits in her car, taking a few moments to gather herself after visiting Mackenzie. She's startled when Levi knocks on the window. He asks how Mackenzie's coping and Harlow says she's better now she decided to attend the Sydney memorial. Harlow then asks how Karl and Susan are going. "It's hit them hard. Hendrix was a massive part of their lives," Levi says. "I don't know, I feel kind of useless." Harlow is sure the Kennedys don't see it that way. Levi offers a friendly ear if Harlow needs anyone to talk to, but she hides her emotions from him and says she has to get to work.

Glen swallows some pills and locks them back in the desk drawer just as Kiri walks in. She welcomes him back then says she saw a woman in the car park who looked like Terese's mum. Glen tells her it is Estelle, and she's going through a hard time so he invited her to the vineyard for the day.
GLEN: I'm just going to see Terese about her now.
KIRI: Is there anything I can do to help?
GLEN: No. I'll have a chat to her before I go. She shouldn't get in the way. You right to hold the fort for a few hours?
KIRI: Sure. Tell me if I'm overstepping, but are you sure everything's okay?
GLEN: Yeah! Fine.

Chloe thanks Sam for getting her paperwork done so quickly, then says they can do a maintenance check on the conference room later. Sam notices Chloe looks sad and says she's sorry, and for Chloe to let her know if there's anything she can do to help. Chloe then sees Harlow emerge from the elevator and wonders what she's doing back at work already. Harlow says she just wants to keep busy, but Chloe tells her she's already arranged cover so her day is free. Harlow's about to head back to the penthouse to change out of her uniform when she gets a text from Andrew that says: Can we meet at the station? Heading there now.
Harold's Café
Jane tells Terese that she's looking much more rested today. Terese admits she slept much better than she expected, and thanks Jane for listening to her vent yesterday. Glen walks in and Terese is surprised to see him, asking if something happened with Kiri.
GLEN: No it's not Kiri, it's your mother. She's at the vineyard.
TERESE: What? Why?
GLEN: I let her stay there last night.
JANE: Why would you do that, Glen?
GLEN: She's desperate. She's got nowhere to go.
TERESE: Is this why you asked me if I was going to speak to her again?
GLEN: Yeah. I should have told you earlier. I wanted to. I think you should see her.
TERESE: But I told you that would never happen again? And you agreed!
GLEN: Yeah I know.
TERESE: Did she put you up to this?
GLEN: No. And I know what you said but after speaking with her this morning, if she could go back and undo everything she's done, she would.
TERESE: And you believe her?
GLEN: Yeah. She's genuinely sorry. She wants to fix things. Have lunch with her on neutral ground. At least give her a chance to try.

Levi tells Andrew that he thinks it's worth sticking to the plan re: Harlow and Corey, but Andrew's worried that Hendrix dying will have altered Harlow's rationale. Harlow soon runs into them and isn't happy when Andrew asks if she'll let them delete the spyware from her phone. Harlow discovers Andrew's concerns and says she's in a perfectly fine headspace to keep going.
ANDREW: I don't want you putting your wellbeing at risk for something we can handle. If Corey hasn't taken the bait already, it's unlikely that he will. And with the break in communication, which is completely understandable, it could be a red flag for him.
HARLOW: This is the only connection to Corey you've got. I'm not going to give it up.

Estelle sits at the counter and checks with Kiri if she's getting in the way, but Kiri smiles and says she's fine. Glen leads a reluctant Terese inside, which pleases Estelle. Terese warns her mum that she's only here because Glen asked her to hear Estelle out. Estelle says she honestly appreciates it and invites Terese to sit at a table to chat. Glen watches in concern from the counter. He asks Kiri to get the women whatever they want and he'll fix it up after. "Are they going to be okay?" Kiri asks. "No idea," Glen admits, then says he'll get out of Kiri's sight. Kiri says he doesn't have to leave, but Glen wants to keep his end of the bargain and says he'll check in on Terese after. Back at the table Estelle is trying to make small talk, but Terese isn't in the mood and demands her mother just get to the point.
The Waterhole Exterior/Number 24
Harlow is on the phone to Freya, telling her about Andrew's request. Freya knows Harlow's frustrated, but wants to play devil's advocate for a moment. She says Harlow could just walk away from it all and not give Corey any more of her energy. Then she could take up her aunt's offer and move back to the UK.
HARLOW: I can't. After Hendrix died I started thinking about my ex-boyfriend, Brent. When we broke things off we let a lot of things go unsaid. I needed closure.
FREYA: Well did you get it?
HARLOW: Yeah. We talked things through and we made amends.
FREYA: Okay, yeah, so you put it behind you and you felt good about it.
HARLOW: Yeah but everything that happened with Corey, it's still hanging over my head. I can't let him get away with what he did to both you and me.
FREYA: Corey's not worth it.
HARLOW: Was Gareth worth it?
FREYA: What do you mean?
HARLOW: I mean you didn't stop looking for him.
FREYA: Yeah exactly, and look at how well that turned out.
HARLOW: But this time I have the police backing me up.
FREYA: From the sounds of it, Andrew doesn't sound that keen anymore. So would you really want to go through with this if they weren't backing you up?
HARLOW: This is the only loose end I have left in my life. I can't move on until I deal with it.

Estelle promises Terese she'll get a job, just like she wanted her to. She figures, once she starts earning money she won't need to be interested in anyone else's. Kiri notices Glen do a quick check in to see how things are going. She looks downhearted that Glen feels as though he can't stick around. Back at the table, Estelle tells Terese that she loves her - she always has.
TERESE: You have no idea how much I want to believe that.
ESTELLE: Why should you? I've asked myself that question a lot lately. (Getting upset) Last night here alone I suddenly realised I have nothing. No money, no home, no daughter. I brought it on myself. You were always right; I'm not the centre of the universe. Not even close.
TERESE: I always assumed the worst of you.
ESTELLE: It was deserved.
TERESE: Okay, look, if you're really prepared to make a change then maybe I can promise not to be so quick to judge.
ESTELLE: I just want to be the person you need me to be.
Erinsborough Police Station
Harlow wants Andrew to put together another script for her to use so they can draw out Corey. But Andrew has spoken to the team tracking Corey down and they agree that wiping Harlow's phone and pulling the pin is the way to go. Harlow knows Andrew can't force her to do it, which Andrew acknowledges, but he was hoping she'd see sense and leave it to the police. Suddenly, Harlow gets a text from an unknown number that says 'I'm so sorry about Hendrix'. Immediately she thinks it's Corey, but sends a text back to ask who it is for clarification. 'Cx' is the response.

Terese finds Glen working outside and tells him she's glad she decided to hear Estelle out: they're going to try and work on things. Estelle joins them and is pleased when Terese invites her back to Erinsborough so they can talk more. "It's not an offer to move in," Terese amends. "But you can stay until we work out a plan to help you move forward." Estelle thanks Terese, and then says she appreciates everything Glen's done too. Glen just gives Estelle a withering look then says he'll bring her suitcase home later. Estelle heads to the car and Terese apologises to Glen for overreacting earlier.
GLEN: I should have been upfront with you from the start.
TERESE: I understand why you weren't. But thank you for looking out for her. And me.
She gives him a kiss goodbye, Glen looking guilty as she goes.
Vineyard Office
Glen puts his multiple prescriptions and pill bottles into his satchel from the desk drawer. Kiri knocks before coming in and Glen thanks her for looking after Terese and Estelle. Kiri admits it seemed a little touch and go there for a minute, which Glen concurs.
GLEN: They've struggled with their relationship for a long time.
KIRI: I could see how much it meant to you, that things worked out for Terese.
GLEN: Yeah it did.
KIRI: She's lucky to have you in her corner.
GLEN: (smiling uncomfortably) I'll head outside.
KIRI: Glen, hey, with Leo in Wollongong we're going to have to talk vineyard business more than usual, right?
GLEN: Yeah I guess.
KIRI: So I want you to feel like you can come in here whenever you need to. Or want to.
GLEN: (touched) Thanks, that makes things much easier.
The Waterhole
Jane finds Terese and Estelle sitting together and cautiously says they both seem very happy. Terese says they are, and Estelle beams that it's one of the best lunches she's had in a long time "and I'm not talking about the food!" Terese lets Jane know they're even thinking about tackling job hunting together. Jane sits with them and says it's wonderful, then asks if there's anything in particular Estelle has in mind. "Whatever and whoever will have me!" Estelle chuckles. Terese excuses herself to speak with someone, and Jane asks if Estelle would be interested in working at Harold's with Nicolette. She's perturbed when Estelle immediately says no.
JANE: Are you sure? They're always looking for good staff.
ESTELLE: Café work's not really for me.
JANE: Well then, what is it that you're looking for? I'll keep an ear out.
ESTELLE: That's really sweet but you don't have to.
JANE: I honestly don't mind.
ESTELLE: I think I'll know when the right job comes along. I can wait!
She brusquely tells Jane it was nice seeing her again and skedaddles, leaving Jane concerned.
Number 22
Due to that concern, Jane has dropped by to see Glen and ask him if things are truly okay between Terese and Estelle. Glen wonders why she's asking, assuring her that anything she says will stay between them. Jane tells him that she just had an odd conversation with Estelle. In front of Terese, Estelle was determined to find a job wherever she could, but when Jane mentioned Harold's, Estelle fobbed her off.
JANE: It was almost as though she had no intention of looking for work at all.
GLEN: (pretending everything's fine) I wouldn't read much into it. Maybe she doesn't want to be on her feet all day?
JANE: Yes, I'm probably overthinking it. The main thing is that they're both working towards fixing their relationship.
Erinsborough Police Station
Harlow and Andrew have filled Levi in on the latest texts from Corey. Levi wonders if the text about Hendrix means that now everyone knows Corey's been spying on her phone. But Harlow says Corey claims he saw it on her socials. Levi then asks if Freya's up to date and Harlow says she's coming down now. Despite all this, Andrew still doesn't think Harlow needs to be involved in the operation.
LEVI: Sarge, he's established contact with Harlow. It's all we've got.
HARLOW: And if I can keep him talking we are so much closer to catching him.
ANDREW: True.
LEVI: We have no other options. We have to do this.
ANDREW: Okay. You have to do exactly what we say.
HARLOW: Yeah of course.
Andrew says they need to know if Corey's still in the country, so Harlow texts him and says she's been worried because the police said The Order "expelled" him, and wonders if he went back home. 'I didn't leave' Corey instantly replies.
Number 22
Glen finds Estelle lounging on the couch with a drink and a magazine while Terese is outside getting the washing. Glen asks why Estelle knocked back Jane's idea of working at Harold's, but Estelle retorts that "Jane has a big mouth". She then tells Glen that she's not about to schlep it in a Café as it's menial grunt work.
GLEN: (annoyed) Well you gave her the impression that you're not going to get a job at all.
ESTELLE: Why, because I don't take the first random thing that comes up?
GLEN: Is that a serious question?
ESTELLE: It's literally the same day. Give me a chance to start looking.
GLEN: Taking on a job doesn't mean you can't start looking for something else. It just means you're earning money while you look!
ESTELLE: (flippantly) Yes, yes, I understand.
GLEN: You promised Terese you'd put her first. Or was that just all talk?
ESTELLE: My relationship with my daughter is none of your business, so please stay out of it. Unless you want me to fill her in on your secret? Didn't think so.
Lassiters Complex
Harlow exits the police station with Freya, Levi and Andrew. Freya sees the latest text from Corey that says he wants to give Harlow a hug and calls him a creep. Harlow wonders why she can't just ask Corey exactly where he is, but Andrew says it's too obvious and will give the game away. But Harlow muses on this and says she doesn't actually need to know.
HARLOW: He thinks that I hate what's happening to him right now, and he knows that I'm grieving Hendrix.
FREYA: So?
HARLOW: So if I can convince him that I'm not handling it he's going to meet me wherever I want him to meet me.
ANDREW: Absolutely not.
LEVI: It's way too dangerous, Harlow.
HARLOW: No, not if you guys are there too. Come on, I need to do this. And you guys need to let me do this. I know Corey: I think I can get him to walk straight into this trap.
Number 22
The next morning Terese chats with Glen and says she'll see if Estelle wants to go out to brunch. She then chuckles and thinks about how strange it is to be talking about spending time with her mother. But her happy mood takes a turn when Glen asks her to have a seat - he needs to tell her something.
GLEN: I'm sorry Terese, but I don't think Estelle is serious about turning over a new leaf.
TERESE: What makes you say that?
GLEN: I don't trust her.
TERESE: But you're the one who encouraged me to talk to her again!
GLEN: I know.
TERESE: Glen, what's going on?
GLEN: The reason I asked you to give her another chance is because she found out about this.
He takes three pill bottles out of his satchel and puts them on the counter. Terese looks surprised and also disappointed that he lied to her.
