- Jane sure Zara was responsible for the fire at the school.
- Susan pointing out to Jane that there is no proof.
- Amy telling Zara she isn't getting to work at Harold's any more.
- Zara relaying that news onto Hendrix.
- Hendrix defending Zara.
- Terese telling Paul she wants a divorce.
- Terese celebrating the news... while Paul wallows at it.
- Levi trying to get Freya to leave town... but she's not going.
- Levi tracking Gareth down... but when he gets there, someone pulls a gun on him!
There is a change to the titles today - the shot of Sheila, Kyle and Levi has been replaced by Roxy, Kyle and Levi walking past the Brighton beach bathing boxes. And in the other one, Zara replaces Roxy in the shot with Amy and Ned who are walking alongside the river.
House somewhere
Nervously Levi turns round and finds there is a gun pointing in his face, so quickly turns back again! Joel (the baddie thanks to the credits) takes Levi's police revolver and radio from his side and throws them onto the ground. Levi turns round properly this time to talk to Joel but is met with silence back at his questions.
Number 22
Glen orders Terese to chill over a cuppa while the others clean up outside. "Enjoy your new normal," Glen tells her, and she seems to like this phrase along with the fact he replenished her favourite candle after noticing it had run out.
House somewhere
Levi tells Joel he gets he doesn't trust the police; he just wants to talk to Gareth then be on his way. "Who's Gareth?" Joel asks and so Levi explains about tracking him down via his phone. It turns out thought that the phone was bought by Joel at the South Melbourne market (after he got out of prison) and thought it was clean - yesterday was the first day it was switched on.
Lassiters Complex
Zara turns on the charm to her mum and Toadie when she spots Hendrix outside the café - she is only getting out of the house now for "family time!" When she goes to get the menu's, Hendrix tries to give her tips on how to "play the system" to help her out and they agree to meet up later to trade tips.
With time on her hands, Amy wants Zara to help work in The Diva but she's not too enthused about doing that.
Number 22 (garden)
With Ned's help, Glen has lined up a stress reliever for Terese - paintballing! Eventually, as it seems the casted RSRs are going too, she agrees to participate.
The Waterhole
Kyle is surprised at the radio silence from Levi over the offer of going paintballing. Roxy is surprised Levi wants to go given his job! Kyle has a comeback though - that is why he wants Levi on his team!
House somewhere
Levi tries persuading Joel to let him go, promising not to say anything but Joel is fearful that Levi will dob him in and he'll end up back inside again.
(Later)
Commercial break later and Levi tries to use emotion to get Joel to let him go. However, what does work is Joel being distracted when Freya come calling by and so Levi manages to disarm Joel and get the cuffs on.
Paintballing
The RSR split up into two teams - the reds (Hendrix, Ned, Kyle and Mackenzie) and the blues (Glen, Terese, Harlow and Roxy).
Harold's café
Mrs Punt finds Amy at the café and rants off at her for having a "firebug" living in the street (Curtis has filled her in). She also has a go at Toadie for letting Zara stay at #30. Despite Amy defending her daughter, Mrs Punt isn't listening and has found an ally in Jane who has overheard the conversation. While admitting she hasn't got the proof to confirm it was Zara, Jane is confident that it was Zara who was responsible.
Paintballing
The RSRs have fun trying to shoot one another!
Ramsay Street
Jane rushes out of #32 after finding the mailbox is on fire! She yells for David to come outside and when he does, while he calls 000, Jane heads inside to get the fire extinguisher.
Police station
"Start talking!" Levi tells Freya after Joel is led through the back by a fellow colleague. First she wants info on Gareth, but all Levi can say is he wasn't at the house. She disbelieves him as her tracking app says different and just as they are discussing why he was there, Sgt. Rodwell interrupts. Rodwell praises Levi for how he handled things and then orders him home to rest, even if Levi isn't keen on doing that.
Lassiters Complex
Freya follows Levi out of the station so they can continue their conversation although at least she apologises for what happened to Levi when he was at the house. Levi fills her in on how Joel came into having Gareth's phone and she sincerely thanks him for his help before adding a warning for him to keep his nose out of things, she'll handle it from now on!
Paintballing
In a lull, Ned thanks Glen for "going the extra mile" in helping Terese get through her current woes. He does though hopes that its genuine and isn't because of the "bad blood" between Glen and Paul. "Why would it?" Glen replies back and Ned explains about a similar situation he was in - his crush for Lauren and the grudge he held against his dad at the time.
GLEN: That's not what's going on here!
Getting back to the paintballing, Terese has the chance to fire at Hendrix but its Paul and his sad face she is picturing so can't fire her gun. Thankfully Hendrix is none the wiser and heads off, leaving Terese to deal with her emotions.
Ramsay Street
Sgt. Rodwell reports to Jane (and David) that he's talked to everyone home at the time of the fire but nobody saw how it started. He does though reassure them that the matter won't be dropped, it is an active case. Jane is adamant Zara is behind it and wants him to question her friends too, pointing out his daughter is one of her friends. Rodwell reassures her that he will be talking to Zara later... and before leaving, asks for Amy's assistance in keeping Zara away from Sadie.
SGT. RODWELL: (to Zara) Whatever you're doing, don't drag a good kid into it.
Zara isn't happy at what Sgt. Rodwell has said to her but Amy is finding it hard to disagree with him.
Number 30
As they head back inside, Zara is pleading her innocent to both Toadie and Amy - she was in her room the whole time. Toadie reminds her that she's exited via her window before! "I didn't," is her comeback and admits that she is starting to "get really freaked out," but isn't getting any sympathy from her mum or Toadie.
Before the conversation can continue, Jane calls round to visit them. After speaking with Susan, until the police investigation is complete, Zara has been suspended from school. "Is that really necessary?" Amy asks and Zara pipes up to add "is there any point in me saying anything?!" only to be met by silence. Jane explains it's a "duty of care issue," to ensure that the other students are safe!
ZARA: This is insane!
Jane promises to deliver any resources needed during the suspension, the time away from school isn't a holiday!
After Jane leaves, Amy mutters aloud what she is doing to do with Zara before warning the lass that one more issue and she is on a one way trip back to Cairns!
The Waterhole
"Battle scars," is how Ned is describing the bruising to Glen and Terese when they were complaining about it as the trio arrive for post paintball drinks.
Ned spots Amy at the bar and invites her to join them, but she declines as she's to get home to supervise Zara.
At their table, Glen spots Terese has paint on her face and as the pair are laughing about her "Smurf" look, someone else has spotted them and isn't happy at all - Paul!
Number 28
Since she was home alone, Zara has escaped from the house to speak with Hendrix. She hasn't a clue who set the mailbox on fire but feels she is being set up.
ZARA: I keep losing everything - I mean my job, Sadie and now I might be sent away. It's not fair!
Hendrix is adamant she won't be driven out of town (but not sure how) and pulls her in her in for a reassuring hug.
HENDRIX: It will be alright.
Zara though has misinterpreted his friendly hug, and his plan to help cheer her up, by kissing him!!
Coming up on Neighbours
- Zara begging Hendrix not to tell anyone, fearful that Amy will send her away.
- Amy walking away from Susan, Karl and Jane.
- Mackenzie curious about Hendrix.
- Levi and Freya at loggerheads.
- Kyle letting rip at Freya!
