- Glen finding Terese on the beach.
- Glen and Paul meeting each other.
- Paul introducing Terese to his half- brother, Glen.
- Terese being introduced to the new front desk manager.
- Chloe telling Terese that wasn't who she picked for the job!
- Ned agreeing to still being part of the polyamorous trio.
- Levi altering Ned and Amy that they have "unwanted visitors down south."
- Kyle refusing to tell Sheila about his cancer diagnosis.
- Kyle hearing his testicles have been removed after cancer was found in both of them.
- Roxy telling Sheila about Kyle.
Lassiters hotel (foyer)
Kyle isn't at all amused at Roxy telling Sheila about his cancer, especially as she has 1001 questions that need answering. He asks that Sheila helps him to his room where he will answer her questions after firmly telling Roxy she isn't allowed to go with them.
Amy is getting ready for bed, when she hears someone trying to get into her apartment! After letting himself in, Michel asks Amy what she is doing in his apartment! Michel ignores saying who he is, instead blaming his error on the receptionist giving him the wrong key for his room... although that confuses Amy since it worked on her one! Eventually she gets him out, and then firmly puts the safety chain on her door!
Lassiters hotel (Kyle's room)
Kyle fills his Gran in that he's had both testicles removed and will be starting chemo soon too. "I can't believe you didn't tell me," she quietly says to him although his reply is he was simply "holding off" telling because it's not been too long since Gary died, and thus didn't want to put her through anything more.
KYLE: I was just trying to protect you.
Levi arrives and apologises for "not managing" Sheila as planned - and it dawns on her what everyone had been doing to keep her occupied our out of the way.
When Sheila heads off to get an icepack for Kyle, Levi tells him about speaking to Roxy and that she is feels terrible but is then quick to add she will be okay.
Lassiters hotel (foyer, next day)
Chloe welcomes Terese back to work and asks her questions about how the conference went. When asked about the "big blow out party" with the "open bar" Terese replies that she didn't attend it.
After the pair spot Michel (and Harlow) walking through the foyer, Terese wants to know why Chloe hasn't removed him yet! Chloe explains he's got to get 3 warnings first, which goes down like a lead balloon with Terese as she knows Paul will "blow his gasket" when he finds out.
Across the foyer, Harlow gives Chloe a smug smile, knowing that she's been ticked off by the boss!
Amy has summoned Ned and Levi to "talk practicalities" following the discovery of the pubic lice - she's laundered all bed linen and towels. She has also checked herself too (all clear) but in case the boys need something, she's purchased a lotion should either of them need it.
AMY: Hopefully we never have to talk of this ever again!
After being filled in by Levi, Toadie makes a point in seeking out the still upset Roxy to give her a pep talk and to give comfort he'll be in for a serve too (for telling Chloe) once Kyle sees him.
Toadie's serve doesn't come when the pair run into Sheila and Kyle outside the hotel. However Roxy isn't being forgiven just yet though, despite her thinking she would be after Kyle forgave Toadie.
ROXY: I guess it makes sense though. I haven't been able to do anything right.
Given the flea in the ear she got from Terese, Chloe is after suggestions on how she can get rid of Michel! Ned suggests she catalogues all the small stuff and Amy suggests using the fact he is barraging her employees to get a drink named after him ("The Milky Mick") as a starting point. Changing conversation topics, Amy asks who has moved into 703 and is surprised to hear its empty, following what happened last night.
As they chat about the conference, Susan spots that Terese doesn't have her wedding ring on. "I lost it on the beach," is the explanation back and goes onto say about the support that she got from Glen. The name is ringing a bell for Susan (thanks to Helen Daniels) but hadn't heard it mentioned for years. Terese says how Lucy filled the blanks in for her, but adds that when they first met, he was simply "this kind stranger." "Sounds like you hit it off?" Susan suggests, which Terese is only too quick to confirm that they did.
Lassiter hotel (Kyle's room)
Kyle isn't amused to answer his door and see Roxy standing there beside Sheila. Sheila explains she took Roxy up (and nudges the lass into the room) so she can hear Sheila's plan - she will fully support Kyle as the goes through his treatment and her plan to get them through their current woes. The plan is for them to use honesty boxes - they can put their "thoughts and feelings" into their box before passing it to the other person to read.
ROXY AND KYLE: ...
SHEILA: You two are going through the biggest thing you will ever go through in your lifetime and I know its hard to talk about.
ROXY: How do you think this will help?
SHEILA: You write down what you really want to say, and haven't been able to, and then you swap boxes and when you're alone, and ready to take it in, you read it.
Sheila then tells Kyle that she's extended his booking to give him time to recover. "Thanks Gran," Kyle sincerely says back.
Susan is still finding it hard to work out why Glen stopped to help Terese on the beach. Terese thinks it was because he is "kind" and "happy to listen." Susan asks if Terese will see him again and she doesn't think so, assuming that he wants to keep his distance from Paul.
TERESE: Too much bad blood.
Meanwhile Amy asks Ned to give Levi some slack as he "feels bad" about their current situation. "I was just stirring," Ned explains, but after a look from her, he will do as asked!
Chloe tasks Harlow with documenting every move Michel makes. Harlow isn't amused at the extra work on top of her own job but is firmly told "it's the least you can do!"
When Amy drops by to hand in some figures to reception for Terese, she is shocked to see that the gate crasher from last night is behind the reception desk! Michel at least apologies for going into her apartment (thanks to his "vodka goggles") however she manages to get from him that he is squatting in the hotel, and that he got into her room after using the master key!
AMY: Chloe is going to love this!
Michel isn't prepared to go down without a fight and mentions about there being a sudden case of "itchiness" in the hotel and threatens to tell Terese that she's the cause of it! [Even in his drunken state the night before, Michel found a bottle of lotion sitting on the kitchen countertop.]
AMY: You wouldn't dare!
MICHEL: Mmm, the lotion doesn't lie. Look, if you scratch my back, I could scratch... well, I'm sure you know what I mean!
Amy refuses to give into his blackmail attempt, planning to grass him up to Chloe as planned.
Sheila is still shocked by the revelation about Kyle having cancer. Levi does his best to reassure her that Kyle won't be like Gary and die and that everything will be okay.
LEVI: Its Kyle, he will get through it and so will Roxy.
Lassiters hotel (Kyle's room)
Kyle opens his honesty box and reads the first note from Roxy. She isn't happy that he is taking support from everyone bar her. Next is her saying everything she does is wrong and thus is walking on eggshells. In the third one, Roxy is begging to let her help him.
Toadie arrives to interrupt the note reading to apologise for causing trouble earlier on by forcing him to talk to Roxy. Kyle is okay at his friend, citing they've been having issues since his diagnosis. Toadie spots the bits of paper on the bed and Kyle says that it was an idea of Sheila's before admitting to being "a jerk through all of this." "You were just trying to protect Sheila," Toadie reminds him and while that was part of it, Kyle describes Sheila as being "amazing."
KYLE: I should have given her more credit.
"So what's the other part?" Toadie asks and the response is its something he needs to tell Roxy.
The Flamingo Bar
And in the bar, Roxy reads what Kyle has written, beginning with him wondering what he's done to deserve her. Kyle then admits to stuffing up in so many of his relationships, including this one for getting cancer. Next Kyle says he can't give her "a carefree life" like kids and security, therefore he's "not the man you need any more."
Terese and Ned arrive to support Roxy. "Its okay," she tells them both as she "can see where he's coming from" having read what he has written. Terese empathises with her nice, having known what its like "to push people away."
ROXY: I need to convince him that he doesn't need to.
Harlow and Chloe stand watching as Michel carries more Christmas decorations into the reception (he's slowly putting the decorations up).
HARLOW: He is a truly ludicrous man. He said Santa was his favourite religious figure.
A deliriously happy Amy can't but wait to tell Chloe her information about Michel... however after she spots him out of the corner of her eye scratching himself, Amy has a sudden case of amnesia! After Chloe heads off, Amy walks over to Michel to strike a deal:
AMY: I'll keep my mouth shut if you do.
MICHEL: Oh I'm so glad us neighbours can stick together.
It would appear that Sheila's idea of the honesty boxes has done its job and got Kyle and Roxy talking to one another again. Kyle admits to wishing he'd told Sheila earlier and even though Roxy says he hasn't, Kyle feels like he has "stuffed up."
ROXY: I love you and you will always be enough for me.
KYLE: You say that now... Rox, I'm terrified. Okay, I'm terrified that you're going to wake up one day and think this is just one big mistake and it's too difficult.
ROXY: That's why you pushed me away. We're a team okay! And I'm not going anywhere.
ROXY: Really! You can't get rid of me that easy!
"Those two look pretty strong," Susan says to Sheila at the bar after what she's witnessed.
SHEILA: I can't lose him. Not after Gary. He's got to be okay Susan. We all love him so very much.
Susan pulls the tearful Sheila in for a much needed hug and reassures her that Kyle is "going to be fine."
SUSAN: Everything is going to be fine.
As she walks through the complex arm-in-arm with Levi, Amy is more than happy to get back to how things were pre-Felicity.
Sheila briefly stops by the pair to ask Levi to bring home some washing power as she's run out after washing everything last night.
Amy at least looks concerned that Sheila appeared upset, but doesn't get the time to discuss it more as Ned interrupts them to ask, "what do I need?" It would appear that Ned is now also infected, which bemuses Amy as she isn't.
AMY: We just need to figure out how a got to b. I mean the only place you've both been is mine.
The trio eventually work it out - it was Levi who passed it on via his towel. Amy thinks it's another thing people can criticise them for, but they think it should be okay as long as Michel keeps quiet!
Terese does the good auntie thing by getting Harlow to check in with Roxy, even if they haven't spoken since she moved out. "I'll call her on my next break," Harlow confirms.
Chloe wants to know if Harlow has anything on Michel but other than untucking his shirt, there is nothing to report.
TERESE: This is your grand plan for solving your problem?!
Harlow quickly smirks away as Terese makes her displeasure known to Chloe! Chloe is sure Mick will slip up, citing him as "a loose cannon."
Honestly, I'm amazed he's kept it together this long.
Terese's attention is then drawn to a booking in the system - a reservation by Glen Donnelly.
CHLOE: Who's Glen Donnelly?
