Nicolette defends herself by Chloe looking at it. Chloe doesn't see the problem.

NICOLETTE: You have been acting so distant since Pierce got to town.

Nicolette mentions the hug, Pierce was comforting her as she was upset about Faye. Chloe tells Nicolette that it's the date of Faye's birthday, Nicolette didn't realise this.

No.28
Mackenzie sings Hendrix's praises for all the help he's given her over her uni studies. She admits she's not as close to Harlow as she's been really busy.

Karl arrives home and tells them the trip to The Hangar never happened. He offers to take Hendrix for a drive. Hendrix suggests that he goes with Pierce instead, Pierce is happy to do that and Karl agrees to lend his car. Mackenzie is surprised Karl is taking part in the Longest Workout Comp.

KARL: I happen to enjoy a very high level of fitness.

Outside the Flamingo Bar
Aaron wants to help Amy. Piper told Terese about Faye's birthday so wants to check if Aaron's ok. Aaron thinks Faye would want him to help. Amy and Roxy have got things organised. Amy needs Aaron and / or Ned's help tomorrow, Roxy is happy to come in early. Ned is happy to help as well.

AMY: Team work makes the dream work.

Aaron agrees to do an opening speech. Aaron, Amy and Roxy head off. Ned is pleased Amy and Roxy are getting on but Terese isn't fooled. She just hopes they can manage to pull this off.

Nicolette wishes she'd known about Faye's birthday but Chloe won't be made to feel bad.

CHLOE: It's your behaviour that's messed up not mine.
NICOLETTE: Pierce has been riling me.
CHLOE: So take it out on Pierce not me.

Chloe tells Nicolette that she has good memories as well as bad memories. All of Chloe's family were there. Chloe has gone out of her way to ease things for Nicolette who realises that.

CHLOE: You really think I would go there and cause you the same hurt and humiliation?

Chloe needs to head off.

Flamingo Bar
Harlow arrives, Greg is trying to find Terese who is hiding from him! Harlow offers to help out but Terese thinks she should go and chill with Mackenzie. Harlow thinks Mackenzie will be with Hendrix as he'll be stressed about Pierce. Terese thinks that Mackenzie will still want to spend time with Harlow.

Ned suggests that Roxy doesn't overdo it with Amy, Roxy insists that she's acting professionally. Ned tells her that Terese isn't fooled. Roxy doubts that Amy's role will become permanent after the probationary period ends tomorrow. Roxy thinks she will be taken on instead.

Harold's Café
Jane can't believe what's happened. Nicolette would rather forget about it instead of getting a lecture. Nicolette thinks Pierce just wants to get in the way as he arrives. Nicolette gives Pierce a serve for not telling her this information earlier. Pierce tries to defend himself.

NICOLETTE: You were deliberately vague so I would jump to conclusions.

Jane tries to defuse the situation but Pierce doesn't want to play Nicolette's games. Pierce decides to take his coffee order elsewhere so Hendrix wordlessly follows him.

JANE: No matter what Pierce has done in the past you are the one who hurt Chloe this time.

No.30
David wishes Nicolette had talked it through instead of behaving the way she did. Nicolette sent a text, Chloe went over ASAP but she was already ripping up the album. Aaron's not impressed after the support they gave Nicolette after Pierce returned.

DAVID: Nicolette always lets her insecurities get the better of her. Hopefully she'll settle down.
CHLOE: As long as Pierce sticks around there's bound to be tension.
AARON: You did not need this today of all days.

Chloe was trying to not think about Faye but it hasn't been possible. Aaron suggests they eat out that night to celebrate Faye's birthday. They agree it will just be the three of them.

Flamingo Bar
Amy admires Ned's Tequila Sunrise he's been making. Roxy suggests an engraved trophy for the competition winner and the contestants have flamingo embroidered towels. Amy offers to sort it out. Roxy thinks they should do a barbecue breakfast beforehand. Terese offers to sort out the food and is impressed with Roxy's ideas.

Car on Road Somewhere
Hendrix is driving without talking. Pierce wants to check if Hendrix is annoyed about Nicolette but he's not. Hendrix wants to know if Pierce is trying to drive a wedge between Chloe and Nicolette. Pierce tells Hendrix that he and Chloe are in the past and wants Chloe to be happy. Hendrix realises that Pierce doesn't think Nicolette is the right one to make Chloe happy.

HENDRIX: You seem to enjoy getting a rise out of her.
PIERCE: I do considering the amount of damage she did to our marriage.
HENDRIX: If you really wanted Chloe to be happy you'd stop.

Pierce concedes Hendrix has a point. Hendrix just wants them to chill on this trip without drama, Pierce agrees to do this.

Flamingo Bar
Karl thinks Toadie should sign up but he's not interested. Karl asks Amy for a shady spot to help him win the title. Amy won't make any promises. Toadie wants to help. Amy thinks that Roxy is sucking up but it's giving her extra work. If Amy passes work to Roxy it won't help her job becoming permanent. Toadie takes the laptop to start helping.

Harold's Café
Terese asks Mackenzie and Harlow to help set up. They will do that before Mackenzie has to get to uni.

Nicolette tells Jane Chloe isn't answering her calls. Nicolette realises history is repeating itself with messing up with girlfriends. Jane thinks it might be hereditary after the Herbert incident.

NICOLETTE: I'll hurt you before you get a chance to hurt me.
JANE: Maybe it's because of all the years you spent fearing Nan Mangel's rejection. Not getting the support from me.
NICOLETTE: I can't keep hurting the people I love.

The Waterhole
Pierce tells Karl that Hendrix is improving with his reverse parking.

KARL: Who's the better teacher?
HENDRIX: Susan.
Karl: Good answer.

Pierce invites Chloe to join them. She explains about the celebratory dinner and the wedding album. Chloe isn't sure if Nicolette feels reassured. Pierce is stunned but thinks there will still be digital copies available. Chloe is surprised Pierce is calm, he has promised not to get involved which surprises Chloe.

PIERCE: He's pretty protective of you. Always has been. Hope you guys can work things out.

Flamingo Bar
Amy is thankful when Ned brings her a drink. She's sorting out the playlist. She's behind her own schedule and Roxy keeps coming up with more ideas. Roxy is going to head off and checks if she needs to do anything else. Amy says it's all ok and reminds her about the towels. Roxy heads off. Ned wanted Amy to accept Roxy's offer but she just wants to get through the event. Ned is sure Amy will do a great job. Ned plans to lock up but Amy is going to do it as she's going to keep working.

No.28
Hendrix is cooking as Mackenzie arrives home. He updates her about the driving lesson and his talk with Pierce. Hendrix thinks Pierce will listen but knows what has happened in the past. Mackenzie is happy that she gets to spend time with Harlow the next day and has been missing her. Hendrix is pleased to hear this.

No.32
Jane and Nicolette arrive back. Chloe tells them that it helped. Nicolette has made a red velvet cake for dessert which was Faye's favourite. Chloe is touched and thanks her. David suggests a board game and they head outside tactfully leaving Nicolette and Chloe alone.

Nicolette apologises for what happened, Chloe says she's ok about it.

NICOLETTE: No it's not. I acted like a child and it won't happen again.
CHLOE: I can live with what you did to the photo album. You have to stop letting Pierce get to you.

Nicolette says she needs to work on her jealousy issues and feeling threatened. Chloe agrees to still be together. They share a hug but Chloe doesn't look convinced.

Outside the Flamingo Bar
Roxy arrives as a sleepy Amy is setting up. Amy asks Roxy to set up the mats as she preps the food. Roxy offers to clean the barbecue. Amy claims not to be stressed! Roxy has noted the probationary period, Amy hadn't realised Roxy was keeping tabs! Amy thanks her for the ideas to make the event successful.

AMY: That could cement my job.
ROXY: Or it could prove that I could make a really good manager.

Amy brushes her off and heads off to get started. Roxy just smiles.

Ramsay Street
Terese meets Karl as he's limbering up for the workout. Mackenzie comes over looking for Harlow, Terese hasn't seen her. Harlow arrives back in Hermione. Harlow tells them she's already got the food and has dropped it off at the Flamingo Bar. Harlow promises to get together when she's finished her assignments and heads indoors.

MACKENZIE: You don't think she's trying to avoid me do you?

Terese thinks Harlow has been very busy. Mackenzie realises this coincides with her and Hendrix getting together. Terese looks awkward and suggests that Mackenzie talks to Harlow. Mackenzie tried that but got nowhere. She doesn't know how to sort things out if she doesn't know what the problem is.

Outside the Flamingo Bar
Amy is cleaning the barbecue with lemon juice. Roxy gets a text saying that Terese will be there soon. Amy asks for Roxy's help in clearing up the rubbish. Amy puts a box on the barbecue. The barbecue falls over and the barbecue goes up in flames! Amy stares in despair at the flames as Roxy races off.
