Harlow thinks it's selfish of her to be thinking of herself right now. She admits she feels jealous that Aaron and Chloe got to say goodbye to their mum, she never got the chance with hers. Harlow asks if that's awful to think that but Paul says it isn't, it's human. Brent looks concerned and tells Harlow she should have said something to him - she says she was going to. CHLOE: I can't. I know I owe you an explanation and I'm really really sorry if I've ruined everything between us but I'm so tired.
NICOLETTE: You don't owe me anything, that's what I was trying to say that you don't need to be embarrassed around me because as far as I'm concerned, we're good.
CHLOE: We are?
NICOLETTE: Yes! I was trying to tell you that last night but you were freaking out. You just lost your mum. Things are going to be messed up for a while and that's okay. I'm going to be here for you through all of it.
Chloe starts crying. She thanks Nicolette. Nicolette offers to help Chloe get packed for Adelaide.

DAVID: Are you okay?
AARON: What sort of a question is that?
DAVID: I get that you're angry but you can't take it out on our friends.
AARON: No, I'm not!
DAVID: Are you sure? Toadie's doing us a huge favour, he doesn't have to be doing all these arrangements.
AARON: Well you know what, maybe if he wasn't so big on arrangements, mum would still be alive.
DAVID: Fay was living with a debilitating degenerative disease. She wanted to spend the last of her time living, not wrapped up in cotton wool. It would have been great to have more time with her. It's incredibly unfair and I get that you're angry at the universe, but getting angry at our friends is just going to make you feel worse in the long run.
David stands up and leaves Aaron alone by the pool to think.

DAVID: I wish that could've happened.
AARON: I just wanted someone to blame, something that we could actually fix, so when it's Chloe's turn...
David hugs Aaron. Sheila pulls up the car beside them, while Chloe approaches. David thanks Sheila for giving them a lift and starts to load the car. Nicolette comes out of the house to see them off. Chloe looks over to her, and then talks to Aaron. Neither of them are okay, or ready to do this. Aaron says they have to do it for mum, and for Mark and Tyler.
