No.30
The family plus Andrea are in the front room. Dipi wants to know if Toadie is certain about going to see Ian, Toadie wants to know for sure. Shane finishes on the phone and tells them no one is able to cover his shift for him but thinks someone should accompany Toadie. Dipi offers to come then Andrea asks to come.

No.26 / The Waterhole
Amy and Gary are in the kitchen. Amy is talking about accepting Karl's offer. A pro is that Gary's job would be fulfilling. Gary agrees that she's been suggesting he do this for a long time. The downside is that Gary couldn't carry on working at the Coffee Hut and the Nursery which would leave Terese and Toadie short staffed. Gary thinks they would understand and he would be in charge again, Amy reminds him Kyle will be in charge as well.

AMY: Is that a pro or a con?

Kyle comes in chatting to Sheila about the awkwardness since he came back. Kyle can't picture them working well together. Sheila suggests they just be professionals as it's a great job opportunity.

Gary knows it won't be easy to work alongside Kyle but they could work things out together.

Kyle isn't sure if they can work together and avoid the fact they both love Amy? Sheila tells him they need to sort this out together. Sheila is convinced they can work this out if they are determined to do it. She gives him a bop on the head as she walks off!

No.30
Andrea tells Willow she should go as she has actually met Ian before. Willow points out Toadie is probably reluctant to spend a few hours going in the car with Andrea. Andrea points out she isn't a danger which Willow is suggesting. Andrea explains her reasons to Toadie and thinks that she can talk to Toadie as well. Andrea claims to have ideas where Heather could be located. Shane suggests that Andrea tells Mark these ideas instead. Andrea admits that when she found out she was similar to Dee she didn't consider it being so great.

DIPI: No you just used it to your advantage.
ANDREA: You have no idea how much I wish I could undo that.

Andrea says she is healthier and stronger at the present time. She wants them both to work out what's going on. She wants to have done something positive for him. He abruptly agrees and heads off. She follows him astounded. Willow, Shane and Dipi look at each other.

The Waterhole
Gary and Amy arrive and come and join Sheila and Kyle at the bar. Kyle talks about the project and mentions they both sold the angle of being family friendly.

SHEILA: Almost like bringing families together was a common theme. Perhaps you two could take the hint.
KYLE: Subtle Gran.

There's an awkward pause. Kyle says he's happy to go ahead, Gary is also happy and they shake on it. They agree to head over to the tram and will get in touch with Karl. Amy is heading to the Yard. Sheila wants to know if she is going to watch them or going for work. Amy admits she plans to do both! Sheila is convinced Gary and Kyle will be ok. Amy isn't so convinced!

Tram
Amy arrifves and is impressed that Gary and Kyle have already started work. Apparently they will sign the contracts later. The money will come through in the next few days from Jemima so they'll carry on where Karl stopped. Amy thinks they've impressed Karl with their enthusiasm. Gary takes the credit for wanting to start so soon. Kyle gives Gary a tip about sawing the wood and Gary starts sawing. Gary doesn't get very far through the wood, Kyle just shakes his head. Kyle gives him a reminder but Gary can't hear through his ear defenders. Gary doesn't have much luck with the wood. Amy reminds him about measuring the sides, Gary plans to do just that the next time he does this.

Toadie's Car
Toadie is driving along in the car with Andrea next to him. Andrea tells him she has been considering where Heather has gone. Apparently Heather took up Spanish dancing. Andrea suggests that Heather has contacted a friend from dancing. Toadie is just driving, Andrea brings him out of his reverie. Andrea wants to phone the friends as she might get further than the friends would. Andrea encourages him that it's right to go and see Ian. Toadie isn't sure yet. Andrea thinks it's good for Toadie to become too convinced this could lead to Dee, it might lead nowhere. Andrea thinks it's possible Ian could give them a lead.

Toadie tells Andrea that the last time he went along this road was his trip with Sonya on the day she died. That is on his mind.

TOADIE: To be doing it again with you of all people. Looking for answers on Dee. It just feels wrong.

No.28
Susan, Willow, Nell and Dipi are by the table. Dipi thanks Susan for picking up the kids, Susan was happy to do it. Willow offers to help Nell get changed out of her school clothes and change Hugo's nappy. Susan enthuses about how helpful Willow is. Dipi talks about Willow wanting to help out as Toadie is struggling. Toadie claims otherwise though. Dipi hasn't heard from Toadie since he but they are due to arrive in Hepburn Springs shortly. Susan hopes it's not another false lead. They stop talking as Willow comes back into the room. Willow tells them not to stop talking about Andrea but is worried about her. Willow thinks it explains things if Andrea has blocked parts of her childhood.

DIPI: We all make choices Willow and look at you. Your life hasn't been easy yet you're a kind and sensitive person.

Willow thinks that it doesn't excuse the way Andrea has behaved, it could explain why stuff happened though. Willow hopes Andrea isn't lying to Toadie again. Dipi and Susan look apprehensive.

Workshop Somewhere
Toadie and Andrea arrive and Ian invites them to come in. He apologises for the mess, not many people visit him. Toadie introduces himself and Andrea as Andrea looks at the crystals on the bench. Ian confirms he's already met Andrea. Andrea tells them during the hypnotism she saw crystals which were the same as these ones. Ian tells her that they are available at markets to be sold. Andrea says she hardly remembers Ian, she wasn't in the best place when they met in Hobart. He claims not to come across that well but he remembers her clearly though. He apologises for staring, he tells them how much Andrea looks like Karen. Toadie wants to check if he could be making a mistake, Ian says he is convinced. Ian heads off to put the kettle on for a chat.

Tram
Leo asks which one won the tender, they tell him they both won. Kyle tells Leo they plan to renovate the place and both run it. Gary tells him they haven't worked out the finer details yet. Gary is planning a Café with Aussie twists with meat pies and vegan options. Gary is happy to compromise but Kyle thinks Gary's ideas are better than his. They banter about catchy names for the place like Beauty is in the Pie of the Beholder!

LEO: I think it's great you have this place as you will never make it as comedians.

They joke around as Leo heads off.

Workshop Somewhere
Ian tells Toadie that Mark mentioned Toadie losing his first wife and thinks it must have been hard. Toadie awkwardly agrees and Andrea tells Ian that Toadie managed to somehow get through it. She admits to coming along and messed things up. Toadie explains that Andrea looks like an exact replica of Dee, it seems Karen is another replica as well.

IAN: Do you truly believe she could be your lost wife?

Toadie isn't sure so he is looking for answers from Ian. Ian met Karen in 2009, she was in Hobart for a funeral. Ian thinks it was Karen's sister's funeral. Karen hadn't spoken to her sister for a while so it was tough for her and her parents had died a few years before. Ian has a bit more information and Toadie is keen to hear it as it's possibly Dee. Karen had married a few years before that but there was an abrupt end. She didn't have contact with anyone from that period of time.

IAN: I always wondered about that as she was such a genuine kind person and it didn't fit her having all these people she just cut off.

Ian thinks the wedding was roughly 2003. Ian doesn't know what happened to Karen as they aren't in contact any longer. Ian apologises and thinks he's given too much information, he heads off. Andrea tries to call after him but he keeps walking. Andrea points out to Toadie all the stuff fits. Toadie nods.

TOADIE: It was her.

The Waterhole
Amy, Shane and Sheila are at the bar. Amy thinks that Toadie must be beside himself, Shane agrees. Sheila hopes it doesn't lead anywhere as Toadie doesn't need this.

SHEILA: Dead people should stay dead.

Leo arrives and mentions seeing Gary and Kyle at the Yard. Amy wonders how things are going. Sheila thinks they should give things a chance. Leo reports they were getting on fine and joking around which surprises Amy. Leo clarifies their puns were terrible! Sheila claims she knew it all along!

Workshop Somewhere
Ian is standing looking at the crystals as Andrea and Toadie talk. Andrea wants to know what Toadie plans to do next, Toadie isn't sure. Toadie thinks Ian is still hiding something, Andrea doesn't think they can just leave it on that note. Andrea asks Ian to tell them the truth. He tells them that's what he has done. Andrea thinks he does know Karen's location. Andrea brings Ian over to Toadie and talks about what a good guy Toadie is, probably the best guy Andrea has come across. Whatever happened, this isn't the story. Andrea's made so many mistakes but she thinks things happen for a reason, Ian agrees. Andrea thinks the mistakes and all the events in Toadie's life have been for a reason.

TOADIE: I need to know the truth.

Ian understands and knows Toadie wouldn't hurt Karen or Dee if that's who she is. Ian has no way of contacting Karen. He's lost touch with Karen since she left the country. Ian tells them Karen went to South Africa. She got remarried and was crazy about the guy. The e-mail address wouldn't work any longer. He thinks maybe he was too close to Karen and asked too much so Karen stopped contact. Ian apologises for not helping Toadie more. Andrea thanks him and they head off.

Tram
Kyle thinks they need a name for their new business. They suggest a few ideas. Kyle suggests that Karl and Jemima rode on the line with their Dad, the 82. They both seem to agree on this idea as Leo and Amy arrive. Amy mentions them getting on, Kyle agrees. Gary takes his top off so men are now topless to work. Gary lifts the wood. Kyle lifts the wood, he falls over in agony due to his back. Gary takes the wood instead.

Toadie's Car
Dee comments that they know now that Dee is alive. Toadie realises that after all this he hasn't been given answers. He's got more questions instead. Dee has a different name and hasn't come to find him. Toadie wonders why Dee has done this thing, Andrea doesn't have the answers. Andrea offers to work together to find out the answers.

TOADIE: I wish she was here.

Andrea thinks he's talking about Dee but Toadie is talking about Sonya. Toadie knows Sonya would know what they need to do, Sonya always had that knack. Toadie looks rather upset.

No.30
It is now the evening and Willow, Susan, Toadie, Shane and Dipi are sitting around the table. Shane wonders where Ian can be trusted. Toadie points out why Ian wouldn't tell him the truth. Also Mark got the information that Ian was staying at the hotel 10 years ago when the funeral took place. Toadie talks about all the things he said and Willow realises that everything fits into place. They realise that Dee survived the crash. Dipi isn't sure about the next step but wonders if they can get in touch with the Police in South Africa. Toadie doesn't know if that's possible but he wants to know the truth. Toadie thinks that Karen doesn't want to be located by them. Susan tells Toadie he doesn't need to rush into a decision and should try to work things out. Shane reminds him about the Foundation plus Nell and Hugo. They're all there to support him. Shane and Dipi head out of the room.

Willow asks how it went having Andrea there and asks if Andrea was too much. Toadie tells them that it was ok with Andrea there.

Hotel Room
Andrea is in the room when there's a knock at the door. Andrea finishes her glass of wine and lets Ian into the room! She tells him he did a great job earlier today. She knows that Toadie fell for what he said. Ian points out they only messed up one of the details, the rest of the stuff was the actual truth. Ian is confused.

IAN: Wouldn't it be better for you if you just let him keep thinking Dee's dead?
ANDREA: I need to find a way back into his life.

Andrea is convinced this is the way to do it. She wants to be reunited with her family and she misses Hugo. Ian wonders if they actually manage to locate Dee.

ANDREA: Given that it's only you and me that know that I don't see how that's going to be a problem.

Ian realises he is probing too much. Andrea agrees they could chat but thinks he had other things on his mind! She pushes him down onto the bed and asks if he brought the photo. He tells her it's the only copy of the photo. He asks what her plans are for the photo. She reminds him about not asking questions and starts kissing him.
