Garden of No.22 (night)
Terese comes in to the garden room and finds that Leo has set up a nice dinner for her. She tells him she's so tired she needs to go straight to bed. He takes this quite well and kisses her goodnight.
Paul is thinking back on Terese exiting Pierce's room and smiles to himself.
Garden of No.32
Piper asks Yashvi how her exams went, but she is distracted looking at flights to Bali(!) She shows Piper $3,000 in cash but Dipi comes in and sees her with it too.
No.30, the following morning
Dipi and Shane tells Sonya and Toadie that Yashvi has sold a ring to a mystery person. They wonder if missing the football draft affected Yashvi more than they thought. Dipi has apparently made Yashvi give the money to a children's theatre charity! Alice suggests that she could give Yashvi some awful chores to do too(!)
When they've gone, Alice asks Sonya if Andrea has been in touch again. Sonya says she hasn't, and also she's feeling very relaxed lately. When Sonya has gone to check on Nell, Alice tells Hugo that they need to give Sonya something stronger if they want to tip her over the edge(!)
ALICE: Tip her over the edge! Tip her over the edge!
She laughs maniacally to herself.
Amy, Leo and David and hanging out when Paul comes in. He accuses David of telling Gary about him and Jeremy. He also tells Leo that he saw Terese leaving Pierce's hotel room last night. David and Amy tells Leo to ignore Paul.
Sheila and Terese are going through the menu and Sheila is making pointed comments about Terese's age. When she's gone, Leo comes in. He asks Terese about leaving Pierce's hotel room. She says she did go to Pierce's room, but she was just trying to change his mind about the deal.
Yashvi has arrived to do chores. Alice fobs Nell and Hugo off on Yashvi and heads off out.
Piper comes in with a coffee for Terese. Terese is upset and tells Piper about Paul seeing her leaving the hotel room.
TERESE: What if what Paul said wasn't entirely that ridiculous?
Piper looks shocked.
Paul brings some visitors to see the local amenities for Robinson Pines. He tells Gary to make them all coffees and take Amy off.
Terese explains to Piper that she was desperate for the deal with Pierce to go through. But Pierce turned her down before she had a chance to do anything. Piper is even more shocked. Terese says that everyone is on her back and she's worried that she's making a fool of herself with Leo.
TERESE: Maybe Leo and I are just destined to fail. That's why I'm doing stupid things with Pierce...maybe in the back of my mind I'm just trying to sabotage it.
PIPER: Is that what you want?
TERESE: No. No, it's not what I want.
PIPER: OK, then, Mum, you need to *commit* to it because it's not going to magically fix itself. You need to fade everything else out. Forget about Pierce, forget about Paul and Sheila and commit to Leo 100%. It's the only way any of this is going to work itself out.
Just then, Leo comes in and invites Terese to come for a walk with him.
Amy is trying to sell Robinson Pines to the investors by stressing its green credentials with solar panels etc. Meanwhile, Gary is dropping coffee on his shoes(!)
Coffee Shop (outside)
Sonya has brought some shortbread with her in a tupperware box(!) Toadie says that he's had an update on Andrea. Sonya says she's quite chilled at the moment, so she doesn't care about Andrea, as long as she's being looked after.
Alice is telling David that she's hurt her arm and asks for more painkillers. He suggests referring her to a hand specialist instead.
The investors have gone now. Gary tells Amy that she did really well with them. But she isn't sure she can do the project with Paul trying to get between her and Gary all the time. Gary encourages her to go for it and just ignore Paul.
Outside Lassiter's Hotel
Leo tells Terese that he's committed to her, but isn't sure she feels the same way. She assures him that she's committed too and kisses him. Just then, Sheila walks past and makes a crack about Leo's age, so Terese tears a strip off her. She goes back to kissing Leo while some staff who have overheard applaud. Also, Paul just happens to be walking past and looks stricken.
Alice arrives home. She asks Yashvi if they have any painkillers at her house but Yashvi says her mother only uses natural remedies.
ALICE: Why doesn't that surprise me? It's like living in beige-ville around here.
Leo and Terese are hanging out with Amy, Gary and David. They swap notes about Paul's antics today. They all think Paul needs a distraction and Leo suddenly has an idea.
Yashvi tells Shane that she's stuffed up her exams and now she'll have a life of menial work. Shane tells her that exams don't really matter - the bottom line is that she gets to shape her own life. And it's going to be a fantastic one.
Sonya invites Alice to join her and Nell in the garden. Sonya seems rather out of it.
When Sonya has gone, Alice gets a rolling pin out and bashes her hand with it. She recoils in pain.
