The Penthouse/The Waterhole exterior
Amy berates Paul for assaulting Gary.

Sheila comforts Gary, saying that Paul has looked down on him for years.

Amy says that being hurt about Leo and Terese, as well as her relationship with Gary, is no reason to lash out like this.

Sheila says she's had enough of Paul getting away with things and that they should go to the police. Gary doesn't want to, but Sheila insists.

Amy encourages Paul to apologize but he makes it clear he won't, before asking her to leave. She exits, looking disappointed.

Number 30
Toadie gets off the phone and tells Sonya that it was Andrea's new doctor.

SONYA: What did she want?
TOADIE: Well Andrea's actually doing really well, since she's taken over; she no longer thinks that she's Dee.
SONYA: Oh, well, that's progress.
TOADIE: She wants to see me.
SONYA: The doctor?
TOADIE: Andrea.

Sonya doesn't seem keen on the idea of Toadie going to see her and he agrees, but says he'd like to at least meet with the doctor to talk through treatment plans. He believes a healthy Andrea will be good for all of them, as they can then stop paying for her treatment. He plans to go that morning, to return in the afternoon. Sonya looks disapproving but agrees. He exits as Alice walks in.

Lassiters Complex
Gary and Sheila tell Amy that they're about to press charges against Paul for the assault. She looks shocked, asking them to show Paul some compassion. If not for him, for her.

Lassiters Complex
Pierce puts some suitcases in the boot of a car and Chloe jokes that there's porters to do that. He mentions getting in the jacuzzi when they arrive at their destination and Chloe probes him again about the mystery location he's taking her to, but he doesn't budge. She says she just needs to quickly speak to Terese and he asks her not to be too long.

Terese's Office
Chloe tries her best to get out of her 'business trip' with Pierce, by encouraging Terese to think that there's too much going on at Lassiters for her to be away. She mentions the contract of sale between Paul and Pierce which Pierce is yet to sign but Terese insists she has everything under control. Chloe at least offers to take the contract with her on the trip, so Pierce can sign while they're away. Terese agrees.

DR TAYLOR: Andrea has started asking questions about her family.
TOADIE: Hugo?
DR TAYLOR: Mainly. And her daughter, her mum.
TOADIE: Her mum?

The doctor says Andrea's keen to discover more about who she was before she came to hospital. She tries to persuade Toadie to see Andrea, thinking it could aid her recovery. He goes to call Sonya. He tells her the doctor's advice and she reluctantly agrees that he should see Andrea, but asks him not to be in with her for too long.

Number 30
As the phone call ends, Alice asks if everything's ok. Sonya tells her that Andrea's recovery is going well.

SONYA: She's asking a lot of questions about her family. About Hugo and Willow. And about her mum.

Alice looks alarmed.

The Waterhole
Terese rips into Paul for punching Gary. She then mentions Pierce's offer to buy his share of Lassiters, encouraging him to agree to sign. Paul agrees, knowing that Pierce's threat would be a much worse alternative. Terese looks extremely pleased with herself and exits the bar.

Snowy Resort
Pierce and Chloe enter an apartment in the snowy hills of a luxury resort. He asks if she likes it and of course she does, marveling in the beauty of the place he's taken her to. He goes to kiss her and she reciprocates. He suggests snuggling up to watch a movie.

PIERCE: Almost Famous, it's one of your favourites, right?
CHLOE: You remembered?
PIERCE: Yeah, of course. Which is why I bought and downloaded it before we came.

Chloe suggests going out into the snow but he insinuates that they've got plenty of time.

PIERCE: Lets take things slow. Just really get to know each other.

Chloe receives a text from Terese saying that Paul's agreed to sign the contract. She pulls the contract out of her bag, asking Pierce to sign. He looks surprised that she's brought the contract, but she says she had to bring it in order to sell the business trip to Terese. He says he'll sort it out with Terese when they return, and proceeds to put the movie on.

Number 30
Alice looks at her phone, tempted to call Andrea, who is saved in her phone as 'Pumpkin'. She accidentally smashes something as Sonya walks in. Sonya gets a dustpan and brush, while Alice admits she's worried about Toadie speaking to Andrea. Sonya is taken aback that Alice cares so much, but says Toadie is probably already speaking to Andrea now anyway.

ANDREA: My doctors have helped me face who I really am. I know I'm not Dee. And I'm sorry I was so confused when you were last here.
TOADIE: I'm glad you're getting the treatment that you need.
ANDREA: You must think I'm a terrible person...Even more with the way that I left Hugo.
TOADIE: Do you wanna see a photo of him?

Andrea looks emotional as she sees photos of Hugo, then looks annoyed when a photo appears of Sonya holding Hugo. She says people must think Sonya's his mum.

ANDREA: I've been thinking about my own mother a lot lately.
TOADIE: How's that been? Willow hasn't really said anything about her.
ANDREA: No, no, we didn't have a perfect relationship. But I miss her. I know now that she only wanted the best for me.

Snowy Resort
Pierce and Chloe finish watching the movie and she tries to get him to sign the contract again. He re-iterates that he'll do it later but she she insists. He reminds her that they're on a romantic getaway, a prospect she's clearly not on board with. She tells him she liked it when things were just fun, but he admits he can't deny he has feelings for her.

PIERCE: If you just let it happen, we could have an amazing future together.
CHLOE: Except there is no future, not for me! I have Huntingdon's Disease. I have no idea how long I'll live.

Pierce looks shocked.

The Waterhole
Gary and Amy enter the bar to tell Paul that Gary's not going to press charges. Paul reluctantly thanks Gary and exits. The pair look agog at Paul's understated reaction.

Snowy Resort
Chloe admits she hasn't told her family about her diagnosis despite her doctor encouraging her to. She says her focus is on paying her mum back and living life to the fullest.

CHLOE: I've had an awesome time with you and I'm happy to keep our arrangement going.
PIERCE: Except. I don't think I can do that anymore...I'm falling in love with you.
CHLOE: But I've never done commitment. I'm even less into it since my diagnosis, I'll only hurt you.
PIERCE: That's just fear talking.
CHLOE: It's not.
PIERCE: Look, I'll pay off all your debts, we'll travel the world. I'll get you the world's best care.

She cries in Pierce's arms.

Number 30
Alice eavesdrops on Sonya and Toadie talking about his trip to visit Andrea. Sonya worries about what Andrea's feelings are towards him but he reassures her that it doesn't matter. Alice tells Sonya that Nell's been calling for her. Sonya exits and Alice pries into the Hobart visit. Toadie is surprised as he hadn't told Alice about that, but she says Sonya confided in her about it. Alice suggests sending photos of Hugo to Andrea's doctor in future so Sonya doesn't get upset, clearly wanting to avoid it being revealed that she is Andrea's mother. Toadie is touched by her concern for Sonya.

ALICE: You're like family to me.

Toadie goes to check on Nell. Alice's smile soon fades.

Lassiters Park
Paul and Amy discuss keeping the Robinson Pines investors on side following Pierce's threat, and he tells her that he's thinking of selling his share of Lassiters. She sees a positive; that he can focus on the development. She suggests arranging a site tour and lunch for the investors this week. When he agrees, she notices Terese at the coffee hut and asks her if she can book The Waterhole that week. She tells her to contact Chloe about it, before introducing the surprise new manager at the coffee hut; Gary! Amy turns to see Paul walking off in the distance.

Number 30/Grovesdale Hospital
Alice texts Andrea;

'Don't contact Toadie again. Leave everything to me.'

Andrea reads the text, then scrolls to a photo of her mother holding Hugo. She then kisses the phone and hides it under her pillow again.

Alice slides a packet of pills back into her pocket after preparing another batch of toxic shortbread for Sonya.

Snowy Resort
It's nighttime and Chloe is sitting at the edge of the bed mulling things over, while Pierce is fast asleep. She emotionally watches her reflection in the mirror.

In the morning, Pierce wakes up to find the bed empty. He looks round the apartment to find Chloe who is nowhere to be seen. As he heads outside in the heavy snowfall, he sees her scarf hanging from a tree. He repeatedly yells out her name.
