Toadie arrives with Jane to congratulate them on the Face of Lassiters win. Yashvi is looking forward to the treasure hunt. Jane says they're looking for a small sheet of antique stamps which her nan put into an old tin cigar box. Toadie says he rang around everyone who used to live here and none of them found anything which suggests the stamps are still here. Jane has checked all her nan's hiding places without the Rebecchi's knowing, which means they must have been in the old fire place. Toadie suggests he bring his metal detector to find the old tin box. Jane thanks Shane again for helping her look, after what she did it's beyond kind. Shane finishes checking the attic and the box isn't there. Toadie and Yashvi come through from the back yard with a tin box. Jane opens it but its empty, which just means someone took the stamps out and hidden them somewhere else. Jane thinks it's time to stop looking. Jane thanks them for their help and says she'll repay them for the damage she's caused. Shane is sorry that her nan won't get the care she needs. Jane will call Mrs Mangel in a few hours to give her the news, it's still the middle of the night in the UK.
SHANE: In the meantime, commiseration drinks in the Doug-Out.
TOADIE: Which after the holes we just dug is more aptly named.
JANE: Thank you but I've already made arrangements to have a drink with Paul.
YASHVI: You've got a date with Paul Robinson?!
JANE: No, not a date. He's an old friend.
She thanks them and is sorry that it was such a waste of time. Shane shows her out.
TOADIE: I really wish we found those stamps.
YASHVI (repulsed): Paul Robinson, seriously.
Harold's Café
Paul arrives having seen the 'Boycott Harold's Café' page. Dipi dismisses it, but Paul says the West Warratah Star has already posted a link. As the new face of Lassiters, she can't be offending anyone.
DIPI: Even if my actions were completely justified?
PAUL: You banned someone from coming here after you assaulted him because he didn't barrack for the same team!
DIPI: That's not exactly what happened.
PAUL: Just make it go away, otherwise we may have to revisit your win.
Elly says hi to Paul and is surprised that he hasn't heard about Jimmy.

JANE (whispering to the portrait): Please don't look at me like that.
Paul arrives and apologises for being late, explaining the emergency with his grandson. Paul notices that Jane's hair is different and that she's bought new clothes.
PAUL: I don't know if Mrs Mangel would approve of us going out on a date.
JANE: I wouldn't exactly call it a date.
PAUL: What would you call it?
JANE: Two old friends catching up.
PAUL: Even so...
PAUL (to the portrait): Mrs Mangel! Jane and I are going to be spending some time together so if you do have any objections now would be the time to speak up! No, she's fine with it!

Dipi tells them if she doesn't fix this that Paul will drop their family as the Face of Lassiters. Mishti suggests that she just apologise to Jake for banning him. Dipi doesn't think she overreacted and she won't let him win.
Lassiters Terrace Bar
Jane and Paul talk about Liam. Paul thinks that if Amy and Jimmy can give Liam a second chance, maybe he should as well. She comments on her own experience. Her kids have all moved away and the visits have become less and less frequent. Paul thinks she could visit them, but she says it's so hard to leave her nan. Paul wishes he'd spent less time worrying about money and more on relationships. He'd love somebody to share his life with, he's learnt over the last year that it can't just be anyone.
JANE: It sounds like you tried at least.
PAUL: Yeah, a little too hard and for the wrong reasons.
JANE: Did I just hear you admit you did something wrong?
PAUL: Alright, it doesn't happen very often and when it does at least I have the wisdom these days to admit it. Anyway, something positive came from it.
JANE: Well, Paul Robinson, a good Samaritan, what is the world coming to?
PAUL: Alright, keep your voice down. I do have a reputation to uphold you know.
JANE: You always were a big softy under that tough exterior.
Paul is pleased to see Jane smile again. He pours them more champagne and asks her what else she's gotten up to all these years.
JANE: Well, there's not much to tell. It's all been about nan.

Lassiters Terrace Bar
Jane tells Paul it's hard for her to talk about it. She loves her nan, she gave her a home when her parents abandoned her. Paul asks if it's really love or more obligation. Jane made a promise that she would take care of her, but its cost her more than she ever imagined. Paul asks about Jane's husband. He tried to pull her away from Mrs Mangel but Jane refused, hence the divorce. She admits it wasn't just because of her nan, she didn't exactly pick a winner, she laughs. Paul smiles, saying he saw a flash of the old Jane Harris. Paul says the Jane he knew had spirit and vitality but he hasn't seen much of it since she came back. Jane admits she's lost herself over the years, and she's become more and more like nan than she'd ever like to admit.
JANE: She just got under my skin and stayed there. Her views became my views, I don't even know when it happened!
PAUL: At least you've recognised it now.
JANE: To be truthful, it's one of the reasons why I came, just to have a break. Apart from wanting to find those stamps so I could put her into proper care, just to be free of that burden, that never ending weight of it all.
Jane gets a call from Joe. She answers the call and is stunned! Mrs Mangel's passed away!
