Penthouse suite
"That Rotondo is surprisingly efficient for a thug, isn't he?!" Paul remarks to Leo. After Leo asks, Paul thinks Gary will jump at the chance of the job and thus will end up back inside keeping Nick company. He also tries to point out that Terese will still be dark at him even if Gary is out of the picture.

PAUL: Gary does not deserve Terese, so I'm just creating the circumstances whereby he will prove it sooner than he ordinarily would.

Leo warns what happens if he gets caught, since it's an elaborate plan, but Paul has no fears of that happening because Gary isn't smart!

Ramsay Street
Gary tells Terese all about his fake interview and who was behind it. Amy joins them and comments that Paul "likes a grudge" after Gary wonders why Paul is doing this to him. Terese volunteers to go and talk to Paul since the others can't work out a rationale behind it.

The Waterhole
Arron is definitely up for selling the boat after being violently sea sick even though the boat was just at the dock! Hamish warns against doing that until its ship shape and Tyler mentions he's got a mechanic coming to check the boat over.

Lassiters Complex
Susan and Dipi are trying to figure out why their husbands are in such good moods lately and both are still bemused why they are seeing Courtney instead of using their wives and for free too!

Just at that, they spot Karl leaving the salon singing Courtney's praises and they say farewell with a hug, drawing a sharp intake of breath from the ladies!

DIPI: How many times has Karl seen her?
SUSAN: This is the third... that I know of!

Dipi tells her friend she wouldn't put up with Shane seeing her that many times and just at that too, Shane arrives for his appointment with Courtney! He too is greeted with a hug and again the ladies look shocked at what they've seen.

The Waterhole
Hamish asks Piper about her vlog and if she makes money from it (no). She turns down the offer of him showing her how to make money as making them simply makes her happy Tyler tells his father.

When Hamish goes to the bar to get another round in, he gets a text from a Louise saying she is on her way and he doesn't exactly look happy!

Penthouse suite
"Alright fine, you got me," Paul admits after Terese gives him the convincing evidence that he was behind the strange day Gary has had.

TERESE: You're just doing this to punish me for not leaving Gary aren't you?
PAUL: Gary doesn't deserve you.
TERESE: I don't deserve him, not after what I did.

Paul subtly threatens to have Gary informed but Terese points out that if he does, there will be many lives that get ruined.

TERESE: And if you think that's a way to show your love then you are worse than I thought.

She then apologises for giving him false hope that they could be together but he has to realise that "it will *never* happen."

The Waterhole
Tyler and Aaron give Hamish the green light to stay on the boat as the construction noise at the hotel is getting to him. The keys are handed over as the boys (and Piper) leave and Hamish then goes to use his phone but Sheila comes over and interrupts him, so he asks for her advice on family dynamics, suggesting she takes a break from her shift so they can do that.

Penthouse suite
Paul is surprised to see Amy arrive (she's there to pick up the last of their stuff) but refuses to move back in despite everyone missing each other. When the emotional stuff doesn't work, Paul tries calling Amy self-righteous and compares her to Terese - helping her through the cancer and with the Udagawa's and then it all being thrown back in his face.

AMY: And you think that's what I'm doing too?
PAUL: Yes! I provide a roof over your head and what do you do, you go and date the man who tried to extort and kill me.

He adds that at least Nick is out of their lives and is shocked to hear Amy say he isn't, she is going to help get his wellness centre up and running.

AMY: So after everything you've done, I'd say the only outcome is that you've alienated yourself from everyone who loves you. Well done!

Harold's café
Courtney drops off her various mugs to Dipi to be filled and collected by Xanthe later. She also gives Susan some of the samples she was talking about. Subtly, Susan quizzes her about the success of the salon and Courtney's reply is that word is obviously getting out but refuses to tell them what her secret is that keeps the customers coming back! Dipi quizzes her on the high percentage of male clients and Courtney's response is that she offers "something that they can't get anywhere else or at home."

Courtney accidentally drops a list of potential clients as she leaves the café and the ladies are shocked at the names that are on it.

The Terrace
Having persuaded her to take a break, Sheila is filling Hamish in beginning with her view that it's Piper who is the one who "rules the roost" in the relationship - Piper leads and he follows. Hamish admits he's never had a relationship like that, more due to having money, and that he's never been with someone for longer than a few months. Sheila does all starry-eyed after he tells her it's not too late to have a passionate relationship, something she's yet to experience after admitting that she married her teenage sweetheart.

Number 28
Karl is forced to tell Susan and Dipi what the list of names is about - it's a list of potential guys interested in a retreat Courtney is arranging. "A retreat with massages," Shane adds although Karl is quick to add in that there will be other things too and will be a help to the liveability campaign. "Can we come?" Susan politely asks and immediately the men say "no" in unison.

SUSAN: I don't know what's going on here but I am not comfortable with you going on some sort of retreat with Courtney by yourself.
KARL: I'm not by myself, I'll be with Shane.
SHANE: Yes, together.
DIPI: Not if I have anything to do with it!

"They're massages," Shane tries to plead when Dipi starts giving him the third degree and she lays down the law to him - no more seeing Courtney! Susan issues the same proclamation and both gents laugh it off, citing that they are grown men!

DIPI: Continue going to the day spa and there'll be consequences.

Karl asks if that means she will ground him?! "She might actually," Shane replies, so Dipi clarifies her threat - she is going to withhold her services. As Shane goes to run after his wife, Susan tells Karl that the rule applies to him too, the blue box will be going into deep storage!

KARL: Okay, if I'm not getting any, you're not getting any. We both know how much you can't resist this!
SUSAN: Watch me!

Number 28/Ramsay Street
Inside the house, Shane is already going to give into his wife's demands.

Meanwhile outside on the street, Dipi asks Susan if she's got "no self-control" as she is already thinking the ban might be harsh. "Of course I do," Susan replies so dip wants to know why she'd want to back down.

Karl tries to tell Shane that it's okay for a man to have some therapy from time to time and Shane agrees that it would be wrong to give in now. "Our wives will be bossy and unfair and..."

"Secretive and untrustworthy," Dipi finishes off and asks Susan how they can even call themselves self-respecting women if they let their husbands get away with this? "You're' right," Susan agrees.

The Terrace
Hamish is charming the pants off Sheila with his tales and before they call things over, he kisses her hand and hopes they can repeat this again soon. "I'd like that," she replies as he walks off.

The Waterhole
Gary is still on a downer that the job wasn't genuine but Terese reassures him to still work on his goal of becoming a chef.

Since his plan was foiled, Paul has decided to head off for a bit (leaving tonight) to see Elle, Tash and Andrew as well as Lucy, Chris and Annie in New York. As Paul wants to off grid, he hands Leo papers as to be his Power of Attorney while he's away and instructs Leo to sell the motel to Steph if she can raise the money.

Paul asks for a quiet word with Terese and after heading to the other side of the bar, he tells her about going away "long enough not to be a bother at your wedding," he adds when she asks how long he will be away for. He hopes the day will be everything that she wants "because you deserve it." "Thank you," Terese replies and tells him to have a nice trip.

PAUL: I just want you to know, nobody will ever love you the way that I do.

He then whispers a final "ever" into her ear as he walks away.

Lassiters Complex
Sheila is on the phone talking to Dipi arranging a meet so she can tell her about the afternoon with Hamish. She hangs up and knocks on the spa door and Courtney answers to inform her the spa is closed. Sheila explains she's just there to pick up Xanthe's jacket and both of their attention is drawn to a noise coming from within - a man groaning.

"You're going to have to leave," Courtney quickly tells Sheila (and that Xanthe can get her jacket later) as she literally closes the door on the woman. Sheila is very unimpressed and goes round the side to see if she can peer in through the windows as to what was going on. She does and it's a scantily dressed Karl (he just has a towel on) sitting up on the massage table and he thanks Courtney as he "really needed that."

Number 24
Tyler gets a text from his dad thanking him for today as he sits alone watching television.

Lassiters Lake
Hamish meets up with the Louise that sent him the text earlier. She isn't impressed he is late but he explains he's been working hard securing them the boat. "We might actually get through this!" she comments but Hamish fears he's gotten Piper offside and since Tyler does what she tells him to do, it could prove to be a problem later on. "We're running out of time," she reminds him but is told that she's to leave it to him before he starts kissing her passionately.

Unmissable drama
- Sheila telling Dipi and Susan that there's something dodgy going on at the day spa.
- Gary after confirmation from Shane.
- "The release is unreal" Shane replies.
- Courtney setting up a stand at the Young Businesswomen of Erinsborough.
