The Brennans are waiting for their Mum to arrive and Aaron wonders if it would be better not to find out but Tyler thinks not knowing would eat away at them. Mark says they'll always be brothers.
Ramsay Street
Sheila and Susan are going for a walk and Susan tells Sheila it's not her fault since she thought the Brennans already knew; everyone deserves to know the truth. Sheila says finding out the truth about Ben and Yashvi hit Xanthe harder than expected. Susan says they are just friends but Sheila says that's not what Ben told Xanthe. They bump into Mishti outside No.32.
MISHTI: Loving the active wear. Will we be seeing you at the Shed any time soon?
SHEILA: What? No!
Sheila asks if Ben and Yashvi are on together and Mishti says they're just friends. Sheila mentions the condom wrapper Dipi found and Susan drags Sheila away, leaving Mishti looking perturbed.
Number 32
Mishti tells Dipi it was hers; it was a one night stand with a guy she met online. Dipi wishes she had told her. Mishti doesn't want Shane to know but Dipi needs him to know it wasn't Yashvi's.
Number 24
Fay arrives and tells the boys how sorry she is that they found out from Sheila.
AARON: Are you sorry we that we learned from Sheila or are you sorry that we found out at all?
FAY: I have lived with this secret for years and not a day has gone by when I haven't felt tortured by it. Should I tell you or not?
TYLER: So you told Sheila instead?
FAY: I didn't intend to but when I saw how much you were grieving for your father it just got on top of me and I needed an outlet.
AARON: There we go, that's just it, isn't it? We weren't all grieving for our father because one of us wasn't even his.
Mark wants to know the truth now.
Number 32 back yard
Dipi tells Shane that what they found was Mishti's. Shane is relieved but not impressed with Mishti. He asks if she's been doing this a lot recently. Dipi says that's hardly his business and asks if there's anything else going on that she should know about. Shane rushes off to the hardware store, leaving Dipi looking suspicious.
Number 24
Fay tells the boys she believes Russell loved them all equally. She didn't have many happy moments with him and during one of their trying times she met somebody else and fell pregnant. She pretended the baby was Russell's... and then Tyler was born.
Ramsay Street
Elly, David and Piper are waiting for news outside. Elly wonders if it's her place to console Mark since their relationship is so new. Piper wonders if it's wrong to be hoping it's not Tyler since he's been through so much already. Aaron appears on the balcony and tells Piper that Tyler needs her.
Number 24
Piper joins the others inside. Fay tells them she met Tyler's father at Memory Cove where his boat was moored and he comforted her after a particularly bad argument. With him, she wasn't just a wife or mother. She let him believe it was Russell's baby as well. She stayed with Russell for ten years because she wanted to try and make the marriage work but he always suspected something and when she told him, that was the end. Tyler asks what his father's name is and Fay tells him it's Hamish Roche.
Number 32
Mishti doesn't want to talk to Shane about her love life. Dipi appears at the doorway and overhears a troubling conversation.
SHANE: With what happened that night you can't expect me not to care.
MISHTI: After Xander I was a mess and you were there but that's it; it's over now.
SHANE: I don't believe you.
MISHTI: I'm ashamed of what happened. I want to forget about it.
SHANE: But that's not how it works, is it? You can't just sweep it under the rug.
MISHTI: I need to. Any other option is too hard. I can't stand the idea of Dipi finding out. She cannot know what happened in Sydney. Ever.
Number 24
Mark asks Fay if she discussed this with Russell in hospital and if he wanted to tell Tyler. Fay says he was afraid Tyler would think the abuse was because Tyler wasn't his son. Tyler says it's hard to take it any other way. Fay tries to assure him Russell loved him.
FAY: When we separated he was insistent you three boys stay with him.
TYLER: Obviously because he wanted to take it out on me.
FAY: That violence, that was a build-up... that was from some other place.
TYLER: And it was directed at me, the son who always reminded him of the affair you had. Every time he saw me he saw this guy Hamish.
Fay tells Tyler how sorry she is and will do everything she can to make it up to him. Tyler tells her to leave.
Number 32 back yard
Dipi is talking to Susan and Sheila about the conversation between Shane and Mishti. Sheila hints they could be having an affair but Dipi says neither of them would ever do that. There was a time after Mishti lost her boyfriend that Shane came home from staying with her and was acting odd, but she loves and trusts them both. Susan thinks she needs to talk to Shane.
Number 24
Mark, Aaron and Piper try to comfort Tyler but he explodes. Everything has changed. He shouts at the model boat as if talking to Russell; every time he lost it he thought he was turning into him. He throws the boat on the floor and it breaks. He tells Piper he needs to be alone.
Number 32 back yard

Fay is having a drink in the evening and Sheila wonders if she's mad at her but Fay says it helped her as she might never have had the courage to tell Tyler herself. She doesn't know if Tyler will ever look at her again. Aaron and Mark arrive. Fay tells them she'll make her way back to Adelaide and return when Tyler's ready. Mark says it might take him a while to forgive her.
Number 22
Tyler returns and finds Piper has been searching for information on people called Hamish Roche. There is one from South Africa who seems more likely than others but Tyler isn't interested. Russell is dead, his mum is a liar and he can't take anything else right now.
Number 32
Shane surfaces the next morning and Dipi wants to know what's going on between him and Mishti; were they together in Sydney?
SHANE: Something did happen in Sydney. But it's nothing like what you think.
