Lassiter's Complex
David and Aaron are rushing, while they discuss Paul and Kim's reaction to the news of Amy being with Leo. They guess David's Scott Robinson theory is right, Amy and Leo could be cousins. They see Paul and Kim rushing towards Paul's car ahead of them. David thinks they should go too, he's been waiting his whole life to hear about his dad, this is his chance. Aaron calls Mark to borrow his car.

Beach House
Amy and Leo come in, laughing about getting soaked from the waves while walking along the beach. Amy checks out the rooms and notices there is only one king sized bed. Leo thinks it's because he forgot to say he was bringing someone. He suggests he give Amy the bed and he'll take the couch.

Lassiter's Complex
Elly tells Susan about Finn being discharged from hospital, he's apparently okay. Finn told Elly he loves her, but she's not in love with him anymore. If she was wrong about Finn last week, maybe she is wrong about the photo incident at her old school. She doesn't want to give Finn another chance, she's getting used to being on her own, and doesn't want to get pulled into anything when she's not ready.

The Waterhole
Steph sees Toadie sitting alone, staring into space, having not even drank the coffee he ordered. Not long ago he'd have been sitting with his wife and Nell. He tells Steph he had a good morning with Nell, and he's giving Sonya the space she needs so they can talk about moving forward. He asks if there's any chance of Steph and Mark getting back together. She says they can't have a baby together so it'll always be a thing. Toadie says a lot has happened since then, so there's no telling how he feels.

Harold's/Erinsborough Hospital Car Park
We're treated to some distracting up-nose shots and close ups of eyes and mouths as Finn is 'dramatically' or 'cheesily' talking to Ben and Xanthe about a post-apocalyptic wasteland where only Erinsborough High students survive, which is his way of teaching about evolution. Xanthe wishes they explained it that way in the textbook. Ben gets a call from Karl and puts him on speakerphone.

As Karl leaves his car, he speaks to Ben and says hi to Finn and Xanthe. He tells Ben he's organised some extra work experience at the hospital to see a tonsillectomy. Ben clearly isn't enthusiastic about it, something Finn seems to have worked out. Ben tries to get out of it but Xanthe tells him he should go. She asks Karl if there's any nursing work experience going. He says he'll see what he can do. Karl says Elly will come around to pick Ben up.

Motorway
Over stock footage of cars going along the motorway, we hear Paul saying they're hours away and wishing that they would answer their phone.

Beach House
Leo says the place has everything they need for him to make dinner. He sees Amy leave the bathroom wearing only a towel and drops the colander he was holding. Amy asks if he's got any reception as she wants to check on Jimmy. Leo doesn't have any but says there was on the beach. Leo suggests they go after dinner for a moonlit stroll. Amy says it can wait and goes to get dressed.

Harold's
Xanthe says they can have the next session at her place, she wanted to give her gran some time with her new baby. Ben looks confused.

XANTHE: The new kitchen. It is literally like the most exciting thing that has ever happened to her.

Ben gets a text from Elly who will be here in a few minutes. Xanthe leaves to check her roster. Finn says this is a good opportunity for Ben. He says if it's something he loves, he'll never have to work a day in his life. Ben says that would be true for music or for working on cars. He likes that working on engines is like a puzzle, he'd still want to do it even if he wasn't getting paid. Finn suggests Ben think about an apprenticeship. Ben doesn't think it would look good for his gran if he were to drop out before the end of year 12.

FINN: Your future isn't about making anyone else happy, it's about making you happy and doing medicine isn't going to make you happy, is it?

Elly arrives and overhears Finn offering Ben a ticket to a special screening of Mad Max today at Eden Hills. Ben thanks Finn and leaves. Elly tells Finn that Ben has work experience this afternoon and shouldn't be bludging at the movies. She also tells him off for discouraging Ben from studying medicine. Xanthe joins Elly and they head off.

Number 30
Mark and Nell are having a tea party when Sonya gets up. She wonders when Nell came back. Mark says Toadie was here half an hour ago, he wanted a word but Mark thought it was best to let her sleep. Sonya says she barely had enough energy to get out of bed, let alone have a conversation with Toadie. Mark tells Sonya to let him know if she needs help with anything. Steph arrives, telling Sonya that she didn't manage to go shopping earlier. Mark heads off. Steph looks at what food they have in, but then suggests they go out for dinner, it might be good for Sonya. Sonya and Nell decide to go.

Beach House
Leo tells Amy that this is his 'special date dish.' He said it is classy, but it takes a while to prep so it gives him and the girl time for small talk and flirting. Amy didn't realise this was such a practiced routine. He tells Amy she looks beautiful, and then asks what she wants from life. She's got her business and her boy, she just needs someone to share it all with. He asks if she has anyone in mind. She says yeah.

Number 22 Back Yard
Finn is shirtless while hanging the washing. Susan comes around and asks how Ben went with tutoring. She also asks about Elly. He guarantees that there will be no dramas in the staffroom, he's going to pull out all the stops and prove that he's the right person for her. Part of that is being a good teacher. He asks Susan to teach him everything that she knows in order for him to be as good as her. He asks if she'll be her mentor. Susan wonders how she can say no to that. Finn turns to the camera and smiles.

Erinsborough Hospital Exterior
Xanthe is raving about seeing a guy spewing at the hospital, but Ben looks bored. Karl tells them the tonsillectomy is about to start if they want to come in. Ben says he has somewhere he needs to be and leaves. Karl shouts after Ben just as Dr Lee rushes out looking for Karl. She asks him to look at a chart, as the patient signed himself out before they were able to discuss the results. Karl says if the aneurysm bursts it could be fatal, she needs to get the patient on the phone and convince him to come in. As he hands the file back to Dr Lee, Xanthe looks at the front of the file and sees Finn Kelly's name.

Car
Aaron checks the map on his phone and sees they're about half an hour away. David asks what Aaron knows about Scott Robinson. Aaron's never met him, but he knows his kids, Daniel and Madison. They both think he's a legend, he's friendly and super relaxed. He's a journo and when he gets hold of a story, he is totally relentless. David thinks he sounds like a good guy, and wonders how he and Paul came from the same family. Aaron thinks he got the good brother as a dad there.

The Waterhole
Steph asks Sonya how Mark is, as he left very quickly as soon as she got home. Sonya tells her not to read into that. He told her the night they lost the baby that Steph really looked after him and understood in a way no one else could. Sonya asks about Toadie, and Steph says he isn't giving up on their marriage, he knows it'll take a lot of work. Sonya doesn't think she has the energy for a lot of work. Mark arrives and says hi. Steph invites Mark to join them. Toadie arrives and sees Mark sitting with his family and looks jealous.

Number 22
Finn is still shirtless, ironing this time. Xanthe comes in and asks if he is feeling okay or if there are there any lingering effects from his fall. Finn puts a shirt on and asks Xanthe what is going on. Xanthe knows about the aneurysm, she saw his file accidentally, she was just curious. Finn says he won't report her for breaching confidentiality, but it's really important that no one else knows about it. He says if anyone in the department finds out, he won't get promoted. Xanthe encourages him to get surgery. Finn says he could drop dead tomorrow without the surgery, but maybe he could live for years. The surgery holds no guarantees, and he'd rather live each day like it's his last.

XANTHE: Live every moment, follow your dreams.
FINN: Become principal. Help my students reach their potential. Win back the love of my life.
XANTHE: Elly? Does she know about you?
FINN: No, she can't know about this. This has to be kept just between the two of us. We're in this together okay.

Xanthe promises and gives him a hug. She offers him any help she can.

Harold's
Xanthe sees Elly and sits down with her. Xanthe says Mr Kelly is a really good teacher and he still really cares about her. She asks her to give him another chance. Xanthe sees people in hospital without the person they love and it's really sad. Xanthe holds Elly's hand.

XANTHE: Love is the most important thing in this world. It can fix everything.

Xanthe leaves, while Elly looks perplexed.

Number 30
Toadie walks in, surprising Sonya. She tells him that if he wants to talk to her, he should call or text and they can make an arrangement, he can't just let himself in. Toadie says he saw her at the Waterhole earlier, with Mark and says they're spending a lot of time together.

SONYA: We're grieving, we lost a baby.
TOADIE: Sure that's all it is?
SONYA: You would like that, wouldn't you? I'd jump into bed with Mark, even it all up, you can get rid of your guilt!
TOADIE: I'm never going to get rid of this guilt! I'm going to carry it with me for the rest of my life. It's the biggest mistake I've ever made.
SONYA: Goodnight Jarrod.

Toadie leaves.

Beach House
Amy and Leo finish their dinner. Amy claims it was seriously one of the top 10 meals of her life. (seriously?) Leo asks if she wants to go to the beach to make that call, but Amy says it can wait. Leo and Amy flirt, Leo suggesting they 'review the bedroom.' Amy takes Leo's hand and leads him to the bedroom.

Paul and Kim burst in and ask Leo and Amy if anything has happened between them. Amy tells Paul to leave.

AMY: I'm sorry, but what possible reason could there be for you to barge in here and ruin our...
PAUL: He is your brother!

David and Aaron arrive, having overheard that bombshell.

LEO: What?
PAUL: Yeah, I am your father.
