Church grounds
Paige hides in amongst the shrubs when she sees Jack exiting the church.
Harold's café
Brad isn't at all amused at Bishop Green's advice to Paige and wants her to come clear with Jack, for her own stress levels if anything else. Paige plans on going with the Bishop's advice because it aligns with her reasoning for not wanting to tell Jack - because his reputation and what he's worked hard for will be destroyed.
Erinsborough Backpackers (next day)
Piper wakes Tyler up to tell him of her fears about what might happen when she gets to school and spots Bec's mates. He reminds her that Elly could have reported her to Susan or worse the police, so she should actually be thankfully about how she handled things... even if Piper refuses to accept that!
Robinsons motel, Dee's room
Willow is apprehensive about her first day at Erinsborough High but more how she conducts herself being in a class that is academically lower than what she should be doing. She isn't getting much help from her mum as she's fretting over not hearing from Toadie and wonders if she's played things wrong? "You told him to stay away," Willow reminds her but their conversation is ended when Ben comes by to walk Willow to school (Susan suggested he do that).
School
Piper is chuffed at potentially getting some work experience at a Tech Designs that Elly has arranged and asks her what the catch is given Elly hates her! "I don't hate you, I just don't get you," Elly explains before adding that she is very good at the tech stuff and thinks this would be a good opportunity for her future. In Elly's language, she also apologises to Piper (although not in an exact clear format) for her handling of the Bec situation and that she didn't envisage Piper getting the blame.
Number 32
Lauren tells Brad about the call she's just had with Amber - that Matilda still isn't any better and that she might need to be withdrawn from childcare which, will cause issues with Amber's job. The conversation then turns to Paige and both are concerned at the stress she is being put under and what that may do to the baby.
They then receive a visitor - Jack, who is round to help Paige given the daddy isn't around and they subtly tell him to leave Paige's caring to them. "Well that was awkward," Brad comments when Jack leaves and Lauren reminds him that as much as they want Paige to tell Jack, it's not their call to make, they just need to find a way to protect Paige from the pressure she is under.
Harold's café
Dee seeks Susan out to seek her counsel as her plan of keeping Toadie abreast isn't working, admitting that she is now realising what she's lost. Susan points out that Toadie had no option but to move forward with his life although concedes that it must be hard for her seeing Toadie and his new life with Sonya/Nell. "That's why I'm keeping my distance," Dee replies.
School
Willow talks to Ben about his work experience, surprised he's doing that at the hospital rather than in music but he explains that having a medical career is better and will keep his grandparents happy too since they've done a lot for him.
Their conversation is interrupted when Jimmy finds her to walk her to their maths class (Susan's instructions) and off they head.
Meanwhile, Xanthe catches up with Piper and is relieved to hear that she's not forgotten about some homework when she spots her writing away. Piper explains it's to get a work experience positon that Elly has set her up for, and adds that while she might not get Elly, she's an okay teacher. Xanthe is relieved to hear Piper change her tune as she was fed up being stuck in the middle of their war.
Their conversation is interrupted when a group of Bec's cronies come in demanding that Piper either gets them fake ID's or she watches her back!
Harold's café
Toadie is surprised to run into Susan at the store but after she explains about meeting Dee, he opens up about how they've been keeping their distance (after he accused Dee of assaulting Nell). "It's not as simple as that," she replies and tells him that Dee's feelings (for him) are coming back. She debated whether to tell him or not, and adds that is why Dee is putting walls up, although admits that she thinks Dee staying away is the right call.
SUSAN: You have family, they need to be your priority.
TOADIE: I know, and they are but Willow's my family too.
SUSAN: Yes, and in time maybe Dee will be comfortable about letting you in but for now it's just too painful. I think you need to respect that.
Number 32
Paige is immediately suss at her parents when she sees them arrive with lunch. Lauren then tells her the plan she and Brad have come up with to help her - by suggesting they all go to the Gold Coast. "Like a holiday?" Paige replies and Brad suggests initially but maybe permanently. Lauren explains that Amber could be done with the support for Matilda, Bailey is nearby as well as Lou/Cathy (when they return from travelling) and there is a café next door to Ned's tattoo parlour that they could take over.
PAIGE: You're going to sell Harold's? What about school? What about Piper?
Laruen knows there is a lot to consider, it's just an idea at this stage. Brad adds in that moving will also give her the space and time to figure out what to do about Jack. The pair of them are really selling it to Paige and ask that she thinks it over.
Harold's café
Paige is talking to Noel (her Uni lecturer) about the proposed move and how it would affect her Uni studies and discovers it would be easy enough for her to transfer although she may lose some credits at Eden Hills Uni.
Jack enters the store and comments to Lauren about relaxed Paige is now looking and she replies that Paige was simply tired before. He asks who Paige is talking to and Lauren says who he is and confirms that she dated him for a bit after splitting from Mark. Jack then spots the wedding ring on Noel's finger and jumps to the wrong conclusion, something Lauren sets him right on but he is so flustered about overstepping the mark that he can't get out of the store quick enough.
School
Xanthe is telling Ben about what Piper has to do to get the bullies off her back but neither think she can come up with the goods. Willow (who's been talking to Jimmy) interjects to say making a fake ID is easy enough and goes into her back and pulls out ones she's made - one saying she is Willow Somers, aged 15 DOB 10/12/2001 (as well as her address in WA) with the other saying she is Willow Somers but the DOB is 10/12/1999 making her 18. They get the 18 card but question the 15 one (it looks like the ID card from her school in WA) and she explains it off as a way to get into MA movies. Xanthe comments the school (15) one looks fake but the 18 one looks genuine enough.
Harold's café
Toadie spots Willow in the store and asks how the first day is going. "Not too bad," she replies despite sitting alone having lunch. She mentions some older kids she'd like to be friends with and he reassures her that it's her first day and in time she'll be friends with them. "There's also a guy," she then tells him but thinks that to him she appears just a kid and asks Toadie's advice. He replies that most girls just saw him as friend's material but there was one who he really liked and in time the friendship changed.
TOADIE: And that girl was your mum, so what I'm saying is that it pays to stick in there.
She thanks him for being able to chat about it, mentioning that Dee is somewhat pre-occupied and he tells Willow that he plans on tracking her down, its time they had a chat.
School
Xanthe finally tracks Piper down to tell her she's found someone to make the fake IDs. Piper however, would rather find another way out of the mess as she fears the repercussions if getting caught. Xanthe makes it clear that she's got to accept the help as she is refusing to spend time hiding out with her friend in the classroom!
XANTHE: Trust me Piper, we can do this.
Robinsons motel, Dee's room
Dee pretends she's about to have a shower (quickly exchanging the robe she was wearing for a towel) when Toadie comes calling. He's very apologetic calling on her when she's in a state of undress but wanted to tell her about chatting with Willow earlier especially when they were supposed to be giving each other some space. Toad is chuffed though at Willow opening up to him about boys and says it's brought back memories of how they met/what they went through.
TOADIE: Listen, I've spoken to Susan and I know you have good reason to pull away but I really want to be in Willow's life. I want to be there for those teenage moments, I want to be her dad please.
DEE: I want that, I want that for her too.
As she went to say that, Dee sensually touched Toadie's leg, but withdraws her hand before continuing:
DEE: Being around you is really hard, so no matter what (she touches his face) I can't have you.
TOADIE: Um, those ah feelings you are having, they are based on the past, on memories.
DEE: I know, memories of us, of you.
At the moment, you could just about cut the UST between the pair of them with a knife but Dee then pulls back and tells him that she wants things to work out between him/Willow however, she wants him gone by the time she's come back from having a shower.
