Wedding Venue
Lou walks in and smells the roses.

No 28
Elly asks Ned if he heard about the balloon accident: that Regan died, that she and Lauren were hurt... He says he wanted to see her, but Jacka was crazy enough before, and he would lose it after what happened.

NED: That's why I'm leaving today after the reception.

He wonders if Lauren will be OK with him turning up, and Elly says there's only one way to find out.

No 32
Kathy is helping Lauren get ready. Lauren is going through her vows/ speech.

Lassiter's Complex
Lou asks Brad about the reception details, which are going well. Brad comments that he thought Lou was coming in.

LOU: I used to own this, when it was the pub: Lou's Place.
BRAD: And Chez Chez before that.
LOU: Managed by Cheryl, God rest her soul.
BRAD: You've been thinking a lot about the past lately, mate.

He says he heard Lou caught up with Trixie, and Lou says he hoped to recapture something.

BRAD: Well, maybe you recaptured something with somebody else.
LOU: Not you too.
BRAD: Look, Lauren just said that Kathy's been thinking about the past as well.
LOU: This isn't about us, it's about the two of you.

Brad says it's about family and Lou says Doug would have been proud. Brad thanks him. Then Ned turns up.

Harold's
Ned says he always wanted to come back for the wedding, but he's going to leave afterwards. Brad says he'd rather Ned didn't do that.

NED: Dad, if I stay, it'll get back to Jacka, or it'll get back to the cops.
BRAD: You can't keep running for ever. Regardless of the consequences, you've got to take responsibility for Maxine.

Brad tells Ned that he's been paying Maxine's rent, and Ned says he didn't mean for that to happen.

BRAD: I had to: you burnt her house down.

He says he wanted to help, but now it's time for Ned to sort it out.

NED: If that's what you want, then that's what I'll do.

They hug, and Brad asks if he can learn a dance routine in half an hour.

Lassiter's Complex
Tyler tells Piper she looks incredible. She invites him to the wedding (there are spare places left by the Cannings) and asks him to take some video.

Harold's
Paul meets Terese and says he hopes Tim will drop the story. Piper arrives, and Terese gives her a new memory card and offers to take the old one home. Piper thanks her, but says there's loads of room on the old one. She tells her mum that she can bring someone else to the wedding if she wants. Paul says he's surprised she's going.

TERESE: I'm going for Piper. Actually going to my ex-husband's wedding to the woman he left me for isn't very appealing. I guess people will be looking at me and thinking how pathetic I am for being there.
PAUL: You could never look pathetic.
TERESE: Hey, why don't you be my plus one. You could help me get that card.
PAUL: Yeah, sounds like a plan.

Wedding Venue
Susan directs some extras to sit down. Terese is shocked to see Tyler.

Tyler asks Mark about the surrogacy, and Mark tells him not to talk about it to anyone. Mark leaves, and Tyler frowns as he looks at something on the camera.

No 28
Mark arrives to find Elly on edge (because of Ned). She says she's working on forgiving him. He tells her it was the right decision not to press charges against Angus: there was something on her record which would have been examined in court. She says it's none of anyone's business. He advises her to stay away from Ned.

MARK: You really need to keep a clean sheet.

No 32
Kathy tells Lou he looks handsome and he repays the compliment. Lauren comes out, and everyone(including Paige) tell her she looks lovely. Lou finds the rose, and looks thoughtful.

No 30
Elly arrives to talk to Ned. She asks him if he really wanted to protect her, or did he want to ditch her. He says he was afraid of what Jacka might do. She asks if he loves her, as he said in his note. He says yes. She smiles, and runs out, saying it can wait till after the wedding.

No 32 drive
Paige is taking photos/ selfies of her, Piper, Lauren and Lou.

LOU: There is fashionably late, and there is just plain late. Let's aim for the former!

As they are about to leave, Ned walks up, and he hugs the girls and Lauren.

Wedding Venue
The music starts, and bridesmaids and groomsmen, followed by Lou and Kathy and finally Brad and Lauren come dancing down the aisle. Sonya sits down, looking unwell, and Mark is concerned.

BRAD: I promise I will never desert you.
LAUREN: I promise I will never take you for granted.
BRAD: And I promise that I will always listen to the lyrics of the songs you like.
LAUREN: I promise I will let you play your music loud in the car.
BRAD: Well, I'll never complain when you leave your canvases out and trail paint all over the house.
LAUREN: Well, I promise I'll never complain when you leave your surfboard in the hallway and trail sand all over the house.

Brad says that fate had kept them apart, but he didn't regret it because of the amazing families they had. Paul smiles at Terese. Lauren says she never imagined that they'd be standing here, but she can't wait to go forward with their lives. They make their vows, and Susan pronounces them husband and wife, and they kiss. Everyone throws confetti and there's lots of hugging. Brad comes over to Terese.

BRAD: Thank you so much for being here.
TERESE: I'm just glad you're happy.
BRAD: Yeah, well I want you to be happy too.
TERESE: I am. I might not have a husband, but I'm happy.

He thanks her for her support with the children, especially Ned and Paige, and they hug.

Mark asks Sonya if she's OK, saying she look like she felt sick. Toadie and Steph arrive, excited about the dancing. Sonya explains that she's having cramping pains.

STEPH: You've got your period?
SONYA: Well, it's coming.

Steph looks relieved. Toadie offers to drive Sonya to the reception, and they leave. Steph tells a disappointed Mark they can talk about their other options later.

Terese tells Tyler she's sure he's got enough footage, and she'll give Piper the camera. He insists that he needs to tell Piper a few things. Piper is talking to Paige, and Tyler tells them he's going to miss the reception. Paige tells him that nobody will mind if he's there. He says he's not so sure, and looks over at Terese. He leaves, and Piper and Paige look at the footage he's shot. It's all of Piper.

PAIGE: That's very revealing, isn't it? You've seen Love Actually, haven't you?

Piper hasn't. Paige thinks it's sweet. Piper says she'll be back.

Waterhole
Elly asks Ned when he's leaving, telling him she'd like to go with him, as things aren't going very well for her. He says he's not actually going after all.

NED: I've got to stay and face the music.
ELLY: What music?

She's annoyed that he's keeping secrets and rejecting her again, and tells him she can't be around him.

Wedding Venue
Lou picks a yellow rose from one of the vases, and pricks his finger. He hands it to Kathy, saying it's to replace the one she gave to Lauren. He says he remembers her carrying a bouquet of them down the aisle in Queensland.

LOU: You know, some people have the crazy idea that you can recapture the past.
KATHY: Hmm, I know. Some of them are taking it to the altar.
LOU: Is it a crazy idea, Kathy? Is it?

They kiss.

Rotunda
Piper tells Tyler she's been looking for him everywhere. He tells her he saw the footage of Tim, and worked out that she must have stopped the charges.

TYLER: When they were saying their vows.
PIPER: I know right. I was thinking it was just like us.
TYLER: How they were kept apart...
PIPER: But they're together now because it was a mistake back then.
TYLER: Do you think it was a mistake with us?
PIPER: Big mistake. Huge.

They kiss passionately and Tyler sweeps her off her feet (literally).
