The Waterhole
Sheila arrives for work and is very surprised to see Leo in the building. He explains he was in early to do some work for Terese but Sheila is unamused to find out he's been in the safe too. "I've got what I needed," he remarks before heading for the door.

Lassiters Complex
Gary and Terese come out of a Lassiters building after having some fun (Terese is impressed with his latest moves!) and quickly right themselves when Sheila spots them. After dismissing Gary with a verbal bashing about bad workmanship (to cover why they were actually together), Sheila tells her about catching Leo snooping around in the bar.

Harold's café
Elly thanks Leo for the unofficial babysitting he is doing with her and tells him about planning on going to Regan's memorial service later on in the week. He then sits and listens to her rant on about how bad Ned is for doing a runner.

Meanwhile Paul comments on Paige being back at work as she brings over their drink and she explains with Lauren still laid up, someone has to hold the fort. When Amy asks when Jack is due back (later today), she can't keep the huge smile off her face when talking about him.

The Waterhole
Xanthe is having a go at her Gran for not taking Family Feud seriously as she's too concerned about others - Leo (because she's Terese's pet) and Gary (getting the rough end of Terese's stick). As they chat, Xanthe dismisses Sheila's suggestion that Terese is after Leo although Sheila thinks she has found someone as she's been making an effort with her appearance lately.

Church
Paige is very surprised to see a female standing in the vestry when she arrives (she is somewhat scantily dressed too and has her shorts half open tending to a wound obtained while hitchhiking.) The visitor (Mon) is someone from Jack's hometown and Paige seems very unnerved that she seems to know Jack quite intimately.

David & Leo's apartment
Leo is surprised to see Terese at the apartment door but she isn't too surprised to see Lassiters documents lying on the table. "Sheila doesn't know the full story," he tries to explain and then asks if Sheila told her that he was spying on her too!

TERESE: Excuse me?!
LEO: I'm spying on you Terese, you and Lassiters.

(Later)

Leo shows Terese the beermat with the figure Paul wrote on it that he will collect when she is brought down. "You're fired," she tells him but Leo suggests that is wrong and instead they could turn the situation to her advantage, especially since he wants to work for her and not Paul. His suggestion is to be a double agent and feed Paul false information but Terese is unsure she can trust him. His explanation is he's been honest to her with his plans (including how he got access to the safe/the documents) and wants to work for the winning team.

LEO: If you really want to put Paul in his place, you'll see this is an offer you can't refuse.

Number 26
Gary appears an hour late to the backyard for the Family Feuds training Xanthe has arranged and she isn't amused at his timekeeping! His attitude towards training changes when Xanthe explains she wants to use part of her winnings to hire a PI to find her mum because she misses her.

The Waterhole
Sheila wrongly interprets that Leo has been giving his marching orders when Terese hands him some documents but is soon put in her place that he hasn't been sacked. "You fancy him don't you?" Sheila remarks and Terese has a face like thunder on her before replying that she doesn't "have time for romance!"

SHEILA: Could've fooled me!
TERESE: Well that's not a high bar is it?! I am here to work and you should too. Discuss my private life in public like this again and you won't have a job to come to!

Harold's café
Paul is impressed with Leo's fast work when he slyly passes him some documents to look at. Sitting part but still close enough to converse, Paul is liking what he is reading including a bonus of some market research Lassiters has done and Leo suggest that perhaps Paul could get some done for the motel too.

Number 26 (next day)
Toadie is round to wish the Cannings good luck before they head to the TV studios. Xanthe is stressed to the eyeballs and so is Sheila after Terese drops by to wish them luck... and to remind Gary not to be late for his next shift!

Number 28
Leo is round with a T2 gift set for Elly who is quick to remind him that he isn't her type! He lets her in on his secret that he's playing Paul/Terese up against each other ready to step in and profit at the appropriate moment. Elly is curious to know what he's up to but Leo is keeping tight lipped and is paying no attention to her warning that "nothing is that perfect" for him to get away with it.

Family Feud studios
"Let it go," Gary tells his mum who is on her high-horse over Terese's treatment of him as they get their make-up done. He also says she is being ridiculous when she tells him of her suspicion Terese is with Leo and adds that she is relieved nothing happened between Gary/Terese.

Thank god the arrival of flowers stops Xanthe constantly repeating her tactics mantra - question, word association, clichés, catchphrases, answer (which was also making it difficult to clearly hear what Sheila/Gary were saying) although Amy is amiss to know who has sent the flowers as there was no name on the card. She then wonders if it could be David after the text she got from him earlier asking for the address of the studios - she'd interpreted it as him coming along but obviously it was for the flower delivery.

Terese offers Paige any assistance if she needs it with Lauren being out of commission.

Lassiters Complex/Family Feud studios
The conversation then ends when Paige has to leave to go see Jack after getting a text from him and for Terese to take a call from Gary. He wants them to come clean to Sheila because she's getting worked up too much. Terese is against that happening and doesn't think this is a suitable conversation to be having over the phone. Gary explains that he wants them to officially be a couple and suggests she comes to the studios, but when she doesn't want to go he thinks it's because of work and announces he's quitting! "No, don't do that," she practically yells down the phone. Gary wonders what her reluctance is to the officially coming out and her watching Paul walk through the complex is a possible explanation especially when she calls a halt to the conversation almost immediately after.

Family Feud studios
"That was her wasn't it?" Xanthe comments when she can see her dad is down after coming out into the corridor to see where he was. "It doesn't matter," he quietly replies and Xanthe demands his phone, which he hands over before walking away. As Xanthe looks through his call log, she can see his last call was to Terese. She then screws her face up on reading the text messages they've been exchanging!

Church
Jack is surprised to see Paige in the vestry and she is likewise to see him hugging women she spoke to earlier. The woman then explains [to Jack], about Paige called her Mon, that it's a nickname she got when travelling, and tells Paige that her proper name is Simone. Jack does the formal intros to each other and Simone is eager to find out how he described her to Paige after he commented that she knows a lot about her. (He called Paige his really good friend).

JACK: You were my...

Simone fills in the gap by telling Paige that she's his childhood sweetheart, his first love.

Family Feud studios
The Cannings (and Amy) are led into the studio and stand nervously while waiting to be introduced to the audience. "Why didn't you tell me?" Xanthe pipes up from her position at the end of the line.

GARY: What?
XANTHE: That it's Terese.

Sheila wants to know why Xanthe is mentioning Terese's name and she explains that is the mystery women Gary has been seeing! "I know this looks bad," Gary says but before he can say more, someone calls to lead the family onto the set... cue 4 very nervous/scared faces!
