Police Station
It's still nightime. Gary says he never touched Cooper. Mark points out that Gary threatened to break Cooper's face. Gary is angry as he states that Cooper was talking about Xanthe. Mark reminds Gary he shouldn't have got close enough to Cooper to hear what he said. Gary was clearing his head, not looking for Cooper. Mark says it doesn't matter, Gary has breached the intervention order when he approached Cooper. Gary comments he was defending Xanthe. Mark knows that but Gary has committed a criminal offence. Gary reminds Mark that Cooper has but Mark points out there isn't any evidence. Mark is very apologetic but he needs to notify Gary's parole officer. Gary pleads for Mark to settle it with a fine. Mark calmly says it doesn't work that way. Gary can't go back inside! Mark tells Gary to prepare himself after what he's just done.

No.28
Ben asks Xanthe when the meeting with the parole officer is. Xanthe tearfully says she isn'tas sure yet but she wants to spend as much time as possible with Gary, just in case. She tells Susan she might have tomorrow off school if it's ok with her. Susan agrees and reassures Xanthe that Ben can get any homework she needs. Xanthe apologises for losing it yesterday, she knows Susan had to let Cooper back into the school. Susan tells Xanthe was rightly upset and she doesn't need to apologise. Xanthe hates that Cooper is getting away with everything and Gary cops it. Ben agrees it's not fair and puts his hand on Xanthe's shoulder.

Alison arrives and Ben takes his hand off Xanthe's shoulder. Alison asks if she's interrupting something. Alison wants to borrow Ben's notes as she's really struggling with the essay. Ben agrees and starts looking for the notes. Alison suggests a study date at Harold's to talk through it. Ben agrees and goes to his room to search for the notes. Alison asks what Xanthe's doing here. Xanthe says she's here to see Susan but it's none of Alison's business anyway. Alison has heard that Gary might be heading back to jail and says it sucks. Xanthe agrees. Ben returns with the notes and they agree to meet at eleven at Harold's.

No.24
Charlie, Mark and Aaron are having their breakfast. Charlie accepts more cereal. Steph arrives and asks how many bowls Charlie has had and suggests he's had enough for one morning. Mark reassures Steph that one more bowl won't hurt as it's a small one, Charlie agrees. The cereal overspills and Steph tells Charlie to clear up. Mark tells Aaron to clear up instead.

AARON: So now Mr Uptight is finally happy with me to clean this place is he? I never thought I'd see the day!

Tyler arrives in his underpants. Charlie suggests he puts a shirt on before breakfast but Tyler likes to let the body breathe! Charlie goes to take his jacket off and Steph tells him to get on with his breakfast. Mark reminds Steph they're family. Steph doesn't want Charlie taking their bad habits back to Max. Mark agrees and has to go. Gary has been kept in overnight after getting into trouble. Steph asks what happened and Mark explains that Gary breached his intervention order. Steph offers to cover as Gary will be wanting family time. Charlie asks who's going to hang out with him whilst they're at work. Mark won't be long but Aaron suggests he helps with Paige's boxing routine. Steph points out (very conveniently!) that Charlie has homework. Tyler suggests they have remote control cars instead. Steph doesn't look so enthusiastic!

No.32
Sonya comments it's strange that mornings are so quiet now and Toadie comments she's missing Steph. Sonya loves the time with Toadie and Nell but the place is empty. Toadie thinks Steph is in her element with the Brennans as she has always had a tomboy streak in her. Steph arrives and apologises for barging in. she needs ten minutes to decompress before going back.

STEPH: It's like New World Order over there! Mark keeps overriding everything I say to Charlie who's completely in favour of ignoring me so that he can impress Azza and Tyler.

Sonya comments they haven't had any threatening letters lately, things have been normal, even dull. Sonya suggests they move back. Steph thinks she shouldn't until Clive's out of the picture. She's stuck in Bro Town for a while longer!

Ramsay Street
Paige and Jack are walking up the Street. Paige wants to know if Jack needs to do confession straight after mass. Jack explains the parishioners have a chance to ponder on their transgressions so it'll be fine. Paige has no complaints but she knows he's busy. Jack reassures her he'll always have time for her. Paige is training this morning. She has a boxing session with Carmen followed by a regular session with Aaron and Tyler. Jack tells her to be safe and Paige says she always is.

No.26
Sheila tells Xanthe that she needs to stay positive. As Gary was defending Xanthe's honour they might go easy on him. Xanthe points out they could put him back in jail. Sheila suggests that Xanthe makes a vision board affirmation she usually does. The defeatist attitude won't help anyone. Sheila hurriedly opens a letter and tells Xanthe to open up her laptop. Xanthe points out she is cleaning out something. Sheila shows Xanthe the memory stick and tells her they need to see what's on it right now. Xanthe goes to get her laptop.

Confessional Box
Jack signs himself with the cross as Ari arrives. Jack invites Ari to begin. Ari laughs nervously as Jack tells him the seal of the confessional is sacred and he can tell Jack anything. Ari admits he's a bad person and Jack suggests he should let Jack help him. Ari claims Jack can't help him so Jack suggests God can help. God will be there to guide and not judge any compulsions Ari might feel. God will show Ari a better path. Ari leaves.

Ramsay Street
Steph calls to Charlie to hurry or they'll be late. She calls over to Jack who's looking through the windows of No32. He comes over as Steph asks if everything is ok. Jack wants to know if Steph has seen Paige this morning, she hasn't. Steph asks if Paige could be at the Gym, Blockers. Paige is not as he's just come from there. She's not at Blaze and her phone is switched off. Steph wonders why he's so worried. Jack explains he just needs to find her. He thanks Steph and heads off. Steph calls Charlie again.

Police Station
Mark is watching the footage of Cooper and Xanthe on the laptop with Sheila by his side. Sheila says that's the proof they need. Mark wants to know where she got it from. Sheila explains she found it with the mail, someone had dropped it off. Mark asks who did it, Sheila has no idea. It could have been there for days as it had fallen on the floor. Sheila points out they now know Xanthe's telling the truth about what happened which is what matters. Mark thinks Xanthe's lucky it didn't go any further. Sheila asks if they're charging Cooper. Mark points out it depends on Xanthe, she has grounds for assault. Sheila thinks it's good news for Gary. Mark explains it won't change Gary's situation because he broke the intervention order. Sheila angrily points out the intervention order was protecting Cooper who assaulted Xanthe in the first place. Mark agrees it isn't fair but they're separate issues. It's out of Mark's hands what happens to Gary.

Harold's Café
Paige thanks Tyler for training with her again. They agree they're mature and just good friends. They join Aaron at a table. Aaron is happy as during the fight he's secured some food trucks to be outside. Paige wants to know if she has an opponent, Aaron's working on it. Aaron asks whom she wants to hit, she wants to hit Elly. Tyler comments that Elly has no choice after the workout today, abstinence is really working for Paige! Paige points out the bible is a lot more interesting than Tyler thinks. For someone who's as hot as Jack is Aaron would get into religion! Paige laughs and agrees Jack has been really attentive lately. He's taken Paige out and dropped her home as well as being really nice. Aaron thinks it's romantic and Tyler thinks it's weird. Paige isn't complaining though!

Ben tells Xanthe that the evidence changes everything. Xanthe agrees it's great Cooper will finally get into trouble. It doesn't change anything for Gary. The alibi won't confirm Gary was with him when Cooper was hit. Ben tentatively asks if Gary could have been involved. Xanthe denies Gary would hit a kid, it must be someone else. Gary is the only suspect. He could be going back to jail if Xanthe doesn't find the real suspect.

Robinson's Motel
Charlie is sitting at the desk whilst Mark and Steph fold sheets. Mark says he feels for Gary but he would rather spend time with them both this morning. Charlie tells them that Tyler has shown him how to do a flip with the remote control car. He tentatively admits they may have scratched the wall. Mark isn't looking too impressed until Charlie says he's kidding! Sonya explains they went a bit rogue whilst she was visiting Toadie and Sonya. Mark asks how they are. Despite the fact Clive's walking the streets Toadie and Sonya are really good. Mark reports that Clive didn't check into the station this morning. Mark's colleague checked up on Clive and he's got a broken leg and is in hospital. Steph points out that Clive isn't much threat in a hospital bed! Steph suggests that she and Charlie move back to No30. Mark suggests they make things more permanent. Mark was going to ask Steph if she wanted to move in. Charlie is happy as long as there's a pool! Steph doesn't say anything so Mark says he knows it's out of the blue. Mark suggests Steph thinks about it. Charlie asks to play with his drone and Mark agrees. Charlie tells him he's the best. Mark apologises to Steph.

Harold's Café
Aaron explains he can try and unsell tickets through the other fighter's friends and family. Jack arrives and says he's trying to get Paige on her phone. Tyler explains that phones are too distracting during training so they're banned. Paige says she hasn't checked her phone and wants to know why Jack's worked up. Jack isn't sure how to answer and says he still doesn't think the fight is a good idea. He thought she had pulled out. Paige points out she considered the pros and cons and she had a lot to think about. She offers Jack a tea and he accepts. They leave the table. Aaron wants to know if Paige is really having second thoughts as he's putting so much money into the fight. Tyler suggests that Paige is telling Jack what he wants to hear. Aaron hopes so!

Alison asks Ben a question about their essay but he's not really listening. Alison wants to know what's going on and he apologises. He explains that he heard from Xanthe they found footage from the night in the hotel room. Alison knows this already as Cooper has texted her. After the evidence has proved what happened Ben can't believe Alison is still talking to Cooper. Alison says it's just a kiss. Ben points out that when Xanthe kept insisting Cooper kept insisting. Cooper could be charged with assault. Alison hopes it doesn't go that far.

BEN: Cooper deserves what's coming to him.

Alison suggests it could stuff up Cooper's chance of going to uni to study medicine, his Mum will kill him. Ben points out that Cooper's Mum is the least of his problems now! Alison says Ben doesn't know Cooper's Mum but stops suddenly. Ben wants to know what Alison is talking about. Alison is glad Cooper's Mum isn't her Mum! He asks what she means but she won't say anymore.

Robinson's Motel
Ari comes into the office. He looks in the diary until he hears voices outside. He knocks some towels on the floor before going to hide in the toilet. Charlie comes in saying it's so boring. Steph points out that it's boring stocking minibars but it's necessary. Someone has to do it and it's her. She notices the towels and reminds Charlie he's not to play with his drone inside. Charlie denies it's him and Steph points out she or Paul didn't drop the towels. Charlie points out he's been outside with her the whole time. She gets him to help her as Ari watches them. Steph isn't impressed as she needs to refold the towels.

Power Road
Ben tells Karl he thinks something is going on with Dr Knights. Karl realises he's talking about Cooper's Mum and says she seemed ok this morning. Dr Knights is worried sick about what Cooper has done. Ben tells Karl that Alison has said something but then stopped talking. Cooper's Mum wants Cooper to be a surgeon like him. If Cooper messes up Dr Knights then thinks that he has jeopardised the future she has planned for him. Ben explains that Cooper and Alison have been mates since Primary School and has been to his house. Karl wants to know what Ben is so worried about what Alison said. Ben explains that Dr Knights would kill Cooper. Karl doesn't think that Dr Knights would literally do that! Karl points out that any parent would be angry at their child having assaulted someone. Ben explains that it was the way Alison said it. Ben reminds Karl they don't know who assaulted Cooper. Xanthe adamantly claims it wasn't Gary. Cooper has been hurt before. Karl points out that Cooper plays football and isn't small either. Karl confirms that Dr Knights is always calm at the hospital. Karl asks after Cooper's Dad, they're separated. Ben wants Karl to talk to Dr Knights and suss things out. Karl isn't so keen as Dr Knights is a work colleague. If Karl makes confound accusations it will make things difficult. Ben says he'll have to get Alison to talk to the police herself.

No.26 Backyard
Gary is looking at the racing pigeon in the box. Sheila and Xanthe come outside. Xanthe is surprised to see Gary is home and hugs him. Sheila wants to know what they said. Gary reports that none of it was good. Xanthe reassures him they'll fight this. She'll go and talk to Toadie and ask Piper to do an innocent blog. Gary tells them it won't be any good and indicates them over to the box. Gary tells Xanthe that Sheila wants to masque the bird so the bird needs to stay on their best behaviour. Xanthe tells Gary to stop but he keeps talking. He tells them what the bird needs. Xanthe is crying as Gary keeps talking. Sheila tells him to stop, he sounds like he's going away for 10 years. Gary says they might be looking at that. Xanthe tells Gary how sorry she is.

GARY: You listen to me. You did nothing wrong. You're perfect and I was so lucky to have a second chance with you. You too Mum.

Sheila tells him it's not over. Gary tells them it is and he has accepted it. Sheila puts a supportive arm around him.

No.28
Alison tells Ben it isn't happening. She doesn't want to make Cooper's life worse. Ben suggests it could make life better for Xanthe. Alison wants to know why he cares so much about Xanthe whom was awful to Ben. Ben reminds her Xanthe is still his friend. Alison points out Cooper is her friend so Ben asks if Alison wants to protect Cooper. Alison isn't sure if Dr Knights did this and he could get hit at footy many times. Ben reminds Alison that Gary is going to jail for this. Alison thinks Gary deserves to be in jail. Ben realises Alison would rather Gary take the blame than the truth come out. Alison states she doesn't want to be involved. Ben points out that they would be saving Cooper from Dr Knights and from being hit again. Alison reminds her if Dr Knights is dragged into it it will all come down on Cooper. Alison doesn't want that to be her responsibility. Ben realises Alison will let Gary go to prison and Alison claims it's not that black and white. Alison thinks he would see that if he wasn't so into Xanthe. Ben points out his feelings for Xanthe have nothing to do with this. Alison realises he is admitting he has feelings for Xanthe. Ben asks her to do the right thing. Alison insists she is by looking out for Cooper. Ben says he'll go to the police himself. Alison angrily tells him to do just that but she will deny it all. Ben won't have the proof. Alison leaves.

No30
Steph and Sonya are in the kitchen. Steph is contemplating she is meant to jump at the chance when a gorgeous man asks her to move in with him. Sonya suggests that it's possibly no. Steph partly wants to, she loves being with Mark. Charlie adores living with them all.

STEPH: It's just so boysy.

Sonya points out that a tomboy is saying this and they laugh. Steph points out that Aaron and Tyler are young boysy. Steph could be living back at No30 now Clive is out of action. Sonya knows this but suggests Steph gives it a go as she's committed to being a family with Mark. Steph claims it's too soon. Charlie is her first priority, she wants him to be settled. Sonya understands that and asks if Steph wants to live with Mark.

STEPH: I don't think I'm ready but I can't tell him that. I'm only going to hurt him aren't I? We both know how sensitive he is.

Sonya agrees and suggests there could be a way to spare Mark's feelings. If Mark thinks Sonya and family need Steph to move back in with them that could soften the blow. Steph likes that idea but it's not honest. Sonya points out they need her and to roll Toadie off the couch after one of his pizza moments. They laugh together.

Confessional Box
Ari arrives and asks to be forgiven as he has sinned. Jack asks how long since his last confession and Ari says it was this morning. Ari was upset and Jack asks what he has done. Ari hasn't done anything yet but the urge is getting stronger to hurt her.

Harold's Café
Tyler asks what Jack's panic attack was about earlier. Paige has no idea but she thought it was adorable. Tyler points out Paige would be ghosting Jack right now if he was her boyfriend. Paige says it's cute that Jack is worried about her.

Confessional Box
Ari says she's going to pay for everything she has done. Jack tells Ari that revenge is not part of God's plan. Ari asks how Jack can't see that she is evil. Ari saw Jack with her this morning. Jack spoke to her as if she was one of God's people. Jack asks where Ari saw them and Ari says it was Ramsay Street where she lives but not for long.

Harold's Café
Tyler tells Paige that Jack is always over her, talking about the bible and walking her home. Paige claims she's opening herself up to new things. Tyler points out that she's changing herself for someone she's already been rejected by. Paige says she loves Jack so she doesn't care.

Confessional Box
Jack pleads with Ari to let her be, Paige hasn't done anything wrong.

ARI: Paige who's Paige?
JACK: The woman you saw me with.
ARI: (He shakes his head.) No it wasn't.
JACK: Then who are you talking about?

Ari bends down and gets up to leave.
