Lassiter's grounds
Lauren tells Ned that Brad will be thrilled that he is being so supportive.

NED: When are you going to tell him?
BRAD: Tell him what exactly?

Ned tells Brad that he wanted to surprise his dad, who doesn't look like it's a happy surprise. Ned leaves the two of them to talk. Lauren says she wanted to tell him earlier, but she wanted to make sure they were OK.

LAUREN: We *are* OK, aren't we?

Lassiter's complex
Amy and Jack are watching as Poppy is about to have a go with Jimmy's remote control car. Karl walks up and says that Poppy's mum is doing well. A random bully snatches the remote control from Poppy, saying she won't be able to do it. Poppy agrees, upset. Karl gets the remote control back and tells the boy to "disappear". Jack reassures Poppy, and discovers that the car wasn't switched on. Karl frowns, concerned for Poppy.

Harold
Brad is complaining to Lauren because she didn't tell him about Ned. She says she didn't get the chance to tell him, and they only hugged because he was pleased for them. She tells him she was disoriented after his proposal, and she had a dream about Matt... That annoys him as well, but Lauren assures him he has no need to feel insecure.

No 26 garden
Sheila is washing gnomes.

SHEILA: If I ever get my hands on those blasted pigeons, I'll wring their necks. They're using my gnomes as a toilet.

Xanthe offers to help, saying that Cooper can wait. Sheila says it's not a ringing endorsement, and Amy says that Xanthe would rather be with Ben. Sheila tells her to ask him. Jack turns up, saying he wants to organise a surprise for Poppy. Xanthe randomly speaks some Japanese. They decide on an adventure with costumes, as you do. Xanthe, apparently, is a whizz at organising events(just like Auntie Nomes).

No 28
Meanwhile, some of the prospective victims cast are discussing their roles. Xanthe arrives, and tells Elly she must have scared the snake away. Elly says she has some reading to do for work. Susan asks for help with her "damsel in distress" costume. Xanthe agrees, then says they need a villain. They all look at Ben.

SUSAN: I can really see you in a pair of tights.
BEN: No, no, no way!

Harold's
Lauren is giving Poppy advice about bullies, when Mark and Jack arrive.

MARK: The Mayor of Erinsborough called with a top secret mission for Adventure Girl. Has anybody seen her?
JACK: There she is! Adventure Girl, can we tell the Mayor you accept the mission?
POPPY: I'll just mess it up.
MARK: But Adventure Girl can do anything that she puts her mind to. If you accept this mission, then Dr Karl and I will be your sidekicks.
KARL: Say hello to the Fluoro Physician!
JACK: And I am the Platinum Priest!
POPPY: Adventure Girl never says no. Not when there's someone who needs help.
EVERYONE: Hurray!

Lassiter's grounds
Elly is sitting with tears in her eyes.

Ramsay Street
Brad leaves a message for Terese asking her to cancel the booking for the terrace.

Ned walks up to him, and says that he waited a while when Brad wasn't home the previous evening. Brad asks if he's still in love with Lauren. Ned pauses, then says he's moved on.

BRAD: I love her and I need you to respect that.
NED: I know you do, and I will.

They hug, while the snake puts in a subtly threatening performance in the background.

Lassiter's complex
Sonya and Aaron arrive, and she asks Poppy if she's prepared to rescue Susan, who has been kidnapped by the Red Raider and The Lawman. Poppy is wearing an AG Adventure Girl outfit, Jack has a platinum coloured skull cap, while Karl is not so fetchingly clad in a fluorescent yellow top.

SONYA: The police are on the case, but they need super-powers to get the job done.
POPPY: That's me! I have superpowers.
SONYA: I have received a cryptic text. My butler Aaron...cini decoded it.

Terese's office
Terese has generously allowed them to use her office for the adventure as she is Not In This Episode™, so doesn't need it. Xanthe tells Ben he looks good in red, and the tights show off his leg muscles. Meanwhile, Susan reckons that Sheila is a bit over-enthusiastic when it comes to tying her up.

Harold's
Mark and Sonya are having a drink.

SONYA: It's amazing the confidence a costume can give you.
MARK: I tell myself that every day!

Toadie (aka The Lawman) arrives. Mark is impressed and wants a photo of the Mayor and the Lawman.

Lassiter's grounds
Poppy, Karl, Jack and Mark (who is obviously not working, despite being in uniform) are looking for clues. They discover where Susan is being held. But Poppy spots Elly and goes to help her as she's a damsel in distress.

ELLY: No, wrong damsel.

Poppy points out that she looks really sad.

POPPY: Hugs are my superpower.

She hugs Elly, and Elly tells her that she lost something she can't get back. Poppy says that she was scared when her mum went to hospital but now it's OK. So maybe Elly will be OK. Elly asks for another hug.

Meanwhile Piper, who has been filming messages, bumps into Ned. She's thrilled to see him, and tells him she won't let him leave.

Terese's office
Adventure Girl and her sidekicks burst into the office, where she magically removes the baddies of their powers and rescues Susan. Elly tells Xanthe to go for it.

Harold's
Brad apologises to Lauren for how he acted earlier, and they agree to go for a drink on the Terrace after she's finished work. He makes a phone call.

Terese's office
Xanthe tells Ben he was an awesome Red Ranger. They chat awkwardly for a while, they they agree that Xanthe should go around to Ben's later.

Harold's
Mark presents Poppy with a medal for courage. Sonya tells her she's brought everyone together and Poppy says they were just pretending. Sonya says everyone pretends sometimes.

POPPY: Even the bullies?
SONYA: Especially the bullies.

Amy congratulates Jack, not least for getting Toadie in tights and assures him that he's "one of us".

AMY: I know you're questioning your choice. But look at Poppy. She'll remember this day for the rest of her life.

The Terrace at Lassiter's
Brad apologises for getting things wrong: the first proposal, jumping to conclusions about Ned.

BRAD: But always my heart is in the same place. With you.
LAUREN: And mine is with you.

(He goes down on one knee)

BRAD: Are you sure? Because I'm about to go for a take two on something and I don't want to mess it up again...
LAUREN: The answer's yes. Yes. Assuming you've got a ring somewhere. Do you? Because if you don't have a ring...

At least he got that bit right. Then he says there's more... And Jamie Lawson comes out to sing / play "Someone for Everyone"

Ned tells Piper she "did good" today, and she agrees, saying everything else sucks: Paige, Tyler, Xanthe. Ned says there are worse problems, but has no time to elaborate, as Brad and Lauren arrive home. Ned and Piper look less than thrilled at their news.

Ned goes outside, and pulls a lock of blonde hair out of his wallet.

No 26
Sheila asks Xanthe to bring in the washing, so she says she has a date with Ben. Sheila lets her off the washing, just asking her to take something in the shed. She puts her phone down outside, but on her way out of the shed, she sees that a stripy snake is blocking her way.
