Susan's Office
Susan is shocked at Ben's behaviour.
BEN: He is not a good guy, all right? And you're only giving him a free pass because his mum dumped him.

Titles
By Lassiter's Lake
Paige is blaming Mark for what happened.
PAIGE: You scared away John's only lead.
MARK: I was coming over here to apologise for butting into your business.
PAIGE: Aaarggh, which you've done again.
Mark points out that Dustin ran first, suggesting that he had a guilty conscience. John says he didn't recognise him. Paige says they don't know he's in trouble with the police, and tells Mark to butt out.
Susan's Office
Prompted by Susan, Ben apologises.
ANGUS: Look, I've decided I'm not going to press charges or seek compensation because it make things a bit awkward at the dinner table.
Susan tells them that it was Sharn who put the stuff in his locker, and for my benefit, Ben clarifies that she's Jayden's girlfriend. Well, maybe they've mentioned it before while I wasn't listening . Anyway, Susan suspends him for the rest of the day, telling him that he'll take his exam the following day instead.
After Ben has left, Susan tells Angus that she and Karl are always there for him. He says that at least someone is.
SUSAN: You should know that your mum loves you very much.
ANGUS: Yeah and she sure knows how to show it.
Lassiter's Complex
Aaron arrives in Nate's new investment - a new suit for his business Brand Enthusiasm. He tries to sell it to Sheila.
SHEILA: Is it like PR?
AARON: No, it's all about lifting the profile of a person or a business in the online world
SHEILA: Ah, so it's PR.
He tries to explain how it's different, but Sheila isn't buying.
School
Xanthe tells Ben it's flattering that he was fighting about her, but not necessary. He's puzzled, then tells her that Angus is trouble and she should stay away from him.
Susan tells Karl how hurt Angus seems, but Sarah still doesn't want to tell him. Karl offers to talk to him.
Waterhole
Nate tells Sheila that he's transferring money to Aaron, saying that it's showing his support. She says he could tell Aaron, but he says he's let Aaron down too many times.
NATE: So what's the harm in helping him out?
SHEILA: No harm, so long as helping him out doesn't leave you completely broke.
Harold's - outside
Paige emails Dustin to ask him to get in touch. John is despondent that no-one has come looking for him. The email bounces back, and John goes off to clear his head.
Waterhole
Karl has bought Angus a meal, and tells him they want him to be happy. He says he never fits in, and tells Karl how he was expelled from two schools. He said his father wasn't interested in him after he got his new family.
KARL: But you've still got your mum.
ANGUS: Until a few weeks ago.
No 28
Xanthe arrives to study. As Ben puts his guitar away, she asks him about his part of the cash. He tells her that Angus took it, so he went to check his locker. The penny drops for Xanthe that the boys weren't fighting over her, so she leaves.
Waterhole - outside
Paige asks Mark to help her find Dustin. He's more concerned that John is associating with criminals.
PAIGE: Tyler has been in trouble with the law, and so have I, but you still associate yourself with us.
He concedes the point, but says there's very little he can do but wait. He doesn't want her taken advantage of, and the fact she has feelings for him makes it more dangerous. He tells her not to ignore the warning signs and she stomps off.
Waterhole
John tells Amy he doesn't know if it's worse not knowing who you are or not knowing if you're a good guy. She tells him that it's who he is now that matters. She goes to the bar.
Mark comes up to John and tells him that he will always be there to look out for Paige.
Aaron shows Sheila his "minimalist" business card, which fails to mention the name of his business. Aaron reassures her about Xanthe's profile
AARON: Don't worry, I moderate her comments. I'm gonna keep her safe from the trolls.
SHEILA: Are you gonna keep Nate safe from bankruptcy?
Aaron looks clueless. (Where did he think the money was coming from with one non-paying client?) Sheila tells him that the only way to make it up to Nate is to make the business a huge success.
School
Karl and Susan discuss Angus, saying that he has issues with authority, and his behaviour is clearly because he craves attention. Susan says if Sarah dies, she can only imagine how devastated and angry he will be. They agree that they have to keep trying.
Waterhole
Paige comes in looking for John, and Amy says he's gone, because the whole Dustin thing had rattled him. Paige sees Mark at the bar, and he admits that he had a "chat" with John. Paige sarcastically congratulates him for driving John away.
MARK: If he's leaving, it's of his own accord. And maybe it's for the best.
PAIGE: That's why you should have stayed out of it.
Paige leaves in a huff, and Aaron reminds Mark that she told him not to interfere. Mark asks about Aaron's business, and Aaron says all he needs are clients, and he'll be fine. (Rolls eyes.) Steph, a potential victim, um client, arrives. However, she says that Robinson's is full since the explosion (there being only two hotels in the area), so they don't need any help.
The Classroom™
Xanthe is cold with Angus, and challenges him about stealing Ben's share of the money they stole from Tom's room.
ANGUS: Oh.
XANTHE: 'Oh' is not a defence.
He says he feels like a loser, so he does something bad to make himself feel like he's had a win. He explains it's the whole situation.
ANGUS: Mum abandoning me, Susan and Karl pitying me, Ben treating me like dirt.
She sympathises, saying she knows what it's like to be a loser. He says she's the coolest girl there. She thanks him, then asks him to give the money back.
Lassiter's Park
Aaron is training when someone else arrives. Turns out it is someone called Scotty T from Geordie Shore. Aaron asks if he has anyone to look after his needs. He explains that he's just started a business, and they do with a guy like him. Scotty explains he's got a bird.
AARON: Does your bird do any tricks or anything?
SCOTTY: Mate, what are ya crackin' on about?
AARON: Uh, it's fine if it doesn't do tricks. I can still represent your pet.
Scotty decides it's time to leave and tells Aaron to "jog on". Aaron starts to jog. Scotty (not to mention the audience) shakes his head in disbelief.
Harold's
Nate tells a despondent Aaron he can't expect instant results. Aaron says he knows he can be good at it. Nate tells him to be patient. A few seconds later, Aaron gets a phone call from a potential client.
The Bus Stop out of Town ™
John is waiting for a bus, and Paige tells him that he will never find out who he is if he keeps running away. He asks what if he's someone she doesn't want to be with.
PAIGE: How many times do I have to tell you that I don't care? It's who you are now that counts.
She tells him he has the opportunity to decide who he wants to be, and she wants him to do it here with her. He agrees to stay.
School
Xanthe comments to Angus that she doesn't want to do her exam, so Angus sets off the fire alarm.
